When I saw the Six Paths Sage Mode activate, I figured it was a case Naruto who fought Nagato (Pain actually) was one who went back in the past. This is good enough to be an actual animated episode. This is like a fanfiction made live, kudos to those that made it. The roses to Tsunade was a cute touch.

It's a flawed, but absolutely beautiful "what if" scenario. Maybe you should write and animate a properly adapted story for this instead, otherwise you can just fuck right off hater.

Naruto understands the meaning of a loss, a turning point where the emotions can lead you to the wrong path, but luckily he is strong enough to deal with it.
THE ENDING IS JUST PERFECT. The animations are perfect. I mean perfect!! The transitions are perfect. Everything is flawless. The music. Omg bro you are the best thing happens in 2025

That montage at the end showing Jiraya being there for Naruto and Nagato, Jiraya and Tsunade actually getting together, that picture Jiraya at Naruto’s wedding just disappearing and the outro music all combined just hits right in the feels

we all needed this. even the writters realized how cherished jiraya was to the whole story of naruto and minato, so they brought him back in a way. but this is why the pain arc was SOOOO GOOD. it has such an important emotional tie to it, losing jiraya was BIG and we were all feeling the pain and wanted the revenge, only to see Naruto follow his teachers teachings and becoming a hero. naruto could of ended there and it would of been amazing, but glad kishimoto finished his story and answered a lot of questions in the process.
this is such a good alternate story line, and i like how the ending point out that naruto was in a different universe/timeline. nice touchup, i hope this gets more views.

If adult Naruto went back in time and saves jiraiya after pain leaves that way pain doesn't know jiraiya still alive and tells jiraiya to lay low until a certain point in time so nothing changes and to come reveal himself a little bit after Naruto decides to go back in time...
All that work was worth it. I felt it all. The highs of seeing Naruto be there for his Master and Seeing Jiraiya alive and happy. The lows where we have to face reality. It is ok to dream but to lose one's self to it is not healthy. This was healing for Naruto and the fans. I dont want the original story to change. I admire how Naruto got thru in losing his Mentor and Father Figure. Again Thank you and know the hard work to bring this to the fans is worth a lot.

While I love mangas and anime, one thing I think they should try is having what if scenarios or "remakes" of some stories, like western comics do (not overwhelmingly so and done to the bone like DC and marvel do, but this video here shows how that could work).
