(8 words that ANYONE with lots of talent and dedication can say without shame nor guilt! What makes Yuja more than her words is her actual music-making. I hope there will be lots more Ligeti and more daring modern stuff. You know what I mean. Time to show the world she's one of the giants, not just another Yuja.)

I knew it! I guessed John Cage before she said it! He was so experimental an the obvious choice for such a question. But I also considered Varese for the average listener but Varese is like the Mark Rothko of classical music and who among can't appreciate or admire a Rothko. I guess the question is who among classical composers would be considered the Andy Warhol of the classical genre? And then the art installation artists which I don't know much about: Lori Anderson?
Anyway, I have tried to resist this woman's charm but ........alas.
Watch the same interview they did with Schiff, he just oozes warmth and humility.
Wang, on the other hand... likely didn't even understand some of the questions. What else is there besides the virtuosity and dresses, one wonders? Wang, you're still very young, enrich the inside as much as you practice the piano!

Schiff has more interesting interpretations than Yang but she presents her personality far more exciting. She is not ashamed of showing her childish side, behaves intuitively and has a honest dirty humor. Schiffs interview is like a sleeping pill in comparison..
One more thing: With her explosive and rebellish personality, she is the one who is going to attract young people and make classical music more interesting for them. Not an old white man who behaves like a grand-grand-father.
