You know what? People are talking about Grimmjow and Ulquiorra gameplay, personally I want to see their take on Nel. How sick would that be for her main gameplay to be the trio with Dondochakka and Pesche and then her awakening be her true form. That could be fun.

I think that they're focusing on characters introduced in the Shinigami Substitute arc. At TGS we'll get a Soul Society trailer and then more individual trailer (including White). At Jump Festa Arrancar arc trailer followed by individual trailers from that arc and a release date.
At this point I just want to see a full match between two people. Yes the game looks good but the constant jump cuts through the trailer just don’t do the game justice.
I think in regards to Kisuke and Yoruichi not having too much of their in canon kits represented in game, I think it’s important to remember that this game is approaching Bleach from the very beginning for newcomers, so I think it’s unlikely they’ll use any of the kido/gear they didn’t breal out until literally the end of the Aizen fight which we may not even get to in this game’s narrative. Conversely, I think this could potentially shine a light on the lesser appreciated aspects of bleach, like putting an emphasis on characters using kido and learning the vocabulary of battle system. (so many people were confused about Konpaku lol)
It was already confirmed during the reveal of the game that the story will go up to the Aizen fight (which is smart and let them make a sequel with Fullbringer and TYBW) but I agree that this is a very early story moveset and everyone who we've seen so far are characters that show up in the human world prior to the Soul Society invasion so it's possible that what they're showing is just to keep with the chronology and idk if we're gonna get duplicate characters but the fact that we've seen Ichigo in the reveal trailer with the sealed Zangetsu and his Shikai version doesn't have Getsuga makes me think that we might get some sort of cosmetic and moveset customization that gets gradually unlocked during the story mode

This game is shaping up to be the greatest Bleach game of all time and a solid fighting game for even hardcore fighting game fans. I think this game will be able to pull in a large audience, its not just a hack and slash or storm clone, its nothing like tamsoft has ever done and damn they are cooking. I cant wait to get to Soul Society characters. I'm calling Kenpachi as the first captain, outside of Byakuya ofc. While I'm making predictions, Orihime is next week, and then we'll finally get Renji (unless Kon is playable). They could also full send the meme and never release a Renji trailer.

I think this game will be fundamentally simple but will have some underlying complexity with every character. Another theory is that skills will be customizable. Cuz how is there an Ichigo without having Getsugatensho as a primary skill. Its literally the main power of Zangetsu.
1:16 Actually Urahara isn't the 1st character we've seen with "Special Flash Attack" Ichigo also has it. Everyone else has a "Signature Move" with the exception of Uryu who has neither, but is also the only one with a confirmed Reawakening.
I'm thinking all characters have all these mechanics, and they are just showing 3 moves to highlight. Ichigo didn't even have Getsuga Tensho in his trailer.

"Special Flash Attack" so far deals in a skill + some additional flash step function allowing for stronger aggression. Also using the trailers are tricky because they mostly are meant to show base skills with a tease of the Awakening, but we know that most characters get new moves when they Awaken, but to your point some character might gain a switch the "Signature Move"/ "Special Flash Action"
The japanese website has all the complete info about all characters, Uryu for exemple has a signature move (licht regen) but we just did'nt see him in the trailer. Tbh I think these trailers are not very good at showing what each character can really do because we only saw a glimpse of the moveset
His awakening ability is a play on the red string of fate he gets more defensive stocks an giving him a chance at turning things around if overwhelmed or to possibly keep offense. Hopefully Soifon has a Mechanic that fits her shikai
Speaking of Soifon, between her close combat skills, Shunko, her shikai Suzumebachi and her bankai, she really has a lot of potentail for awakening, reawakenikg, finishing moves. Even maybe Omaeda or the ansatsu kido showing up as a support in one of her supers.

I think shinji will always be my favorite character in bleach because he represents the trickster. A deity of misdirection (quite literally) and I had a feeling he’d be like this just from his first introduction. His hair very feminine (even though he’s a male) and his cartoonish smile plastered on as if he’s forever laughing at a joke he told himself but won’t tell anyone else. I always relate to trickster/deceitful whimsical yet benevolent characters. He might not make the roster but I’ll have hope forever just like he’ll smile forever.
Urahara might lowkey be top tier. Even if he only has what they showed what he had on the character trailer. With how the game seems to work that might be plenty enough. More damage might equal “how fast they can take a stock” (in practice/reality). Still hope he has more. Bankai?
i love the unique movesets so far. i do hope we get some more interesting archetypes like grappler, instal characters, trap characters, puppet characters maybe a grab back character and a status effect character stuff like that for instal i think a fun idea is having nel start as a joke character together with the rest of the goofy nel gang and than you do a super and transform into nelliel aka or her tru form whatever you want to call it. for trap character i think rangiku or orehime could work and for status effect i'm thinking shinji or maiuri or maybe they give diferent statuses to multiple characters. for puppet i'm not sure who they can pick i don't remember all of the characters moves that well and for grab character i though they would make chad it but i guess not
Brave Battlers and heat the soul 7 does have Soi Fon with insta kills implemented in them which makes her so cool and deadly to fight against. Have to be on guard at all times literally hahaha 😂
I wish we could get a character like ashido which too my knowledge has never been in a bleach game besides brave souls, No ashido technically is not a filler character if we're going by his appearance in one of the novels and the fact that Kubo was originally gonna add him to the manga but didn't have time so he was used for the anime instead, Ashido doesn't really much of a move set in terms of shikai and bankai as they were never revealed but I just think is design is so cool.
In the last part of the trailer where they show flash lot of stuff pretty fast we see Urahara fire a Senju Koten Taiho as well so the things they are showing in this character trailer are very limited XD

Kisuke looks so cool in game and I love him in the manga/anime but I think his moveset (and more likely this trailer fault) is underwhelming and doesn't give him justice (like it doesn't have the "essence" of the character) We are talking about the goat, who has always a solution, a fun gadget, a trap or stuff in his pocket for ANY situation during a battle. I'm not even counting his kido's skill and benihime. So why in this game he only uses basic stuff even in awakening form (I just notice that he use benihime in sealed form like wtf). The only thing that really stands out is his signature move and a few kido that we can see but yeah underwhelming trailer imo. Like you can replace Kisuke with someone else it will makes almost no difference, benihime’s blood energy wave looks like a getsuga tensho.

Wait hear me out, I think with Ichigo we could get a separate Ichigo Starting in Bankai, with his awakening being the hollow mask and his re-awakening being his Vasto Lorde, we could even probably get Dangai ichigo separate with mugetsu as his awakening. Plus One thing the games have shown us is they are gonna have ultimate attacks. like with this one they did show Urahara with that Benihime attack at the end of the video. plus with Byakuya it could be senkei or that move he pulls off to clash with Ichigo's (i forgot it's name), but people here are also forgetting another long awaited character : Hollow Ichigo aka.Zangetsu
urahara signature move is not same as his special flash attack his signature move show up in game website it's name : it's sweet he takes a stance and blocks opponent close-combat attack ,and then he counterattack with slash

I believe urahara was necessarily truly serious until around quzen arc, atleast at first, i think they should have given him a more lighthearted persona like usual and when he activates shikai he'd get serious
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Urahara was the first character they didn't show some kind of invincible reversal/counter? Wonder if that will turn out to be true, and whether it will be a significant weakness if so.
Personally I don't agree the the moveset doesn't feel like urahara just considering I think the only way you make him feel like that in the way we're more familiar with at least anime wise to that point is giving him more goofier looking combos. But also I think going off of its description and the inspiration for his base form it's highly inspired off of the training segment he does with Ichigo as well as the fight with Yami. Like his one move overpowering other projectiles. Seemingly if I was to reading between the lines of his base form he's going to be a slow heavy-hitting character in his base period that will change it's playstyle entirely once you awaken which does highlight his more serious and lackadaisical attitude to things
Considering we didn't get a full match gameplay yet it's not fair to judge, but with the little bits we got the gameplay doesn't look as smooth as storm or demon slayer, it actually kinda reminds me of the kill la kill game, which i have kinda mixed feelings about🤐, but we can be only sure when we get some full match gameplay
No one gonna talk about the movement we saw? We saw the actual walk speer during kisukes first attack special. It looked pretty slow to me. Closer to tekken style walking. I think flashstep/sonido/hirenkyaku/bringer light is going to be a basic part of the move system. Even in chads video he has the special action to buff his charge and make him faster but he immediately sonidos to the enemy and starts beating on the..
I want to see my babe Unohana, and my boy Grimmjow. Also, the gameplay looks a bit slow compared to like Storm 4 or Xenoverse. It looks more like Tekken gameplay.

Wait hear me out, I think with Ichigo we could get a separate Ichigo Starting in Bankai, with his awakening being the hollow mask and his re-awakening being his Vasto Lorde, we could even probably get Dangai ichigo separate with mugetsu as his awakening. Plus One thing the games have shown us is they are gonna have ultimate attacks. like with this one they did show Urahara with that Benihime attack at the end of the video. plus with Byakuya it could be senkei or that move he pulls off to clash with Ichigo's (i forgot it's name), but people here are also forgetting another long awaited character : Hollow Ichigo aka.Zangetsu

my doubt is about the giant bankai or ressurection, like komamura, mayuri, yami or even Renji, I can't imagine how they will do it
I believe urahara was necessarily truly serious until around quzen arc, atleast at first, i think they should have given him a more lighthearted persona like usual and when he activates shikai he'd get serious
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Urahara was the first character they didn't show some kind of invincible reversal/counter? Wonder if that will turn out to be true, and whether it will be a significant weakness if so.
I mean, they dint show a counter or reversal but he does gain extra resources specifically for defensive moves

Personally I don't agree the the moveset doesn't feel like urahara just considering I think the only way you make him feel like that in the way we're more familiar with at least anime wise to that point is giving him more goofier looking combos. But also I think going off of its description and the inspiration for his base form it's highly inspired off of the training segment he does with Ichigo as well as the fight with Yami. Like his one move overpowering other projectiles. Seemingly if I was to reading between the lines of his base form he's going to be a slow heavy-hitting character in his base period that will change it's playstyle entirely once you awaken which does highlight his more serious and lackadaisical attitude to things

Considering we didn't get a full match gameplay yet it's not fair to judge, but with the little bits we got the gameplay doesn't look as smooth as storm or demon slayer, it actually kinda reminds me of the kill la kill game, which i have kinda mixed feelings about🤐, but we can be only sure when we get some full match gameplay

No one gonna talk about the movement we saw? We saw the actual walk speer during kisukes first attack special. It looked pretty slow to me. Closer to tekken style walking. I think flashstep/sonido/hirenkyaku/bringer light is going to be a basic part of the move system. Even in chads video he has the special action to buff his charge and make him faster but he immediately sonidos to the enemy and starts beating on the..
