Hey TGS, can you please do a duel analysis of the duel between the Yubel possessed Jesse Anderson using Sacred Beasts vs Adrian Gecko using Exodia please? I feel like there could have been some moments where either duelist could have won earlier or by doing other plays. I love your videos, keep up the great work and stay safe.
I agree the action cards are kind of an ex machina mechanic, but since opponents can use them if the writers decide it, I prefer this over the way it was in 5ds and Zexal, where the main character would just happen to have a 1-off trap card with a ridiculously specific effect (usually related to battles or effect damage negation) to get them back to the duel
Now most of the YGO animes (Except Rush) have a duel analysis. Also is it possible for you to do Yuya Vs Declan (Forgot his Japanese name) and their second match because that was the most closes battles ever so the title would be "Was Yuya about to defeat Declean?"
"You'll still lose next turn!" "There won't be a 'next turn'..." Man, whenever a character says something to that effect in any Yugioh anime, it's such a boss move. 😊
I love how during his turn with Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon, Yuya was just making up effects Serena: “Our Trap protects our monsters” Yuya: “Raging Dragon negates the effects of all other cards and destroys them” Serena: “You can only defeat one of us” Yuya: “Raging Dragon can attack twice” Serena: “….” Yuya: “Say something else. I dare you”
Wait wasn't it stated that action duels awakened the entirety of the duel monster's souls when leo akaba created them? Well .....i guess that makes yuya more of a badass, he was so furious their literal souls were afraid
@@idosarts_and_krafts i dont watch the anime but if thats true.... Yuya is a legit demon if he can scare souls that shouldn't have a concept of fear without a body
Actually, it was shown that you can read your opponent's cards in episode 108 in which Gloria activates the Continuous Spell Card, "Quiet Life" and on Yuya's turn, he looks at a reading of Quiet Life and read aloud its effect.
If this is true, Yuya could've beat Reiji in their second duel at the end of season 1. If he had read Caesar Ragnarok's effect, he would've just made Dark Rebellion without summoning Odd-Eyes. Without another monster on Yuya's field to absorb, Dark Rebellion would've attacked over Caesar Ragnarok for game.
What's sure is that they couldn't up until 5D's, which does forgive for most of the misplays then. As soon as they got duel disk screens, it became inconsistent... I guess sometimes they can, sometimes they can't
My one guess in this case then is a matter of time. Given how Action Duels work (and, let's be honest, how long some effects ended up getting), I can see why duelists might not have time to read their opponent's effects, at least in Arc-V.
There's one thing I love about odd eyes raging dragons summon. It's not just about yuya being mad that Ruri and Serena are keeping him from Yuzu, or Yuto being mad that Ruri is being mind controlled. This is also 2 incarnations of Rei once again standing in Zarc's way Odd eyes raging dragon is the embodiment of Yuya, Yuto's and Zarc's rage.
'Supreme King' archetype is exclusively Zarcs IIRC, so he was at least awake enough at that point to count as a participant. The card name shown onscreen (21:47): Supreme King Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon
Even before any breakdown of the duel occurs, just hearing the plot setup of how this duel is even possible really just makes me go "Yup, that's a Yu-Gi-Oh plot alright"
@@amateraceon5202 The only reason I even watched this video is because I remember seeing the ending of this duel on Xvideos titled "Guy destroys two bitches at once" or something like that lol, I just wanted the actual context
When yuya says "battle" before completely and utterly obliterating his opponents in this duel will always give me chills bro I swear. Such a good moment
9:50 Unfortunately, it's a misplay on Yuya's part. In episode 108, during the battle against the Tyler sisters, Yuya pulls up the card 'Slow Life'/'Quiet Life', one of the Tyler sisters' floodgates, to examine its effects (Yuto commenting about it in ghost form behind him). He can 100% see the effects of the cards - the text is visible on the Disk's screens, and while the Tyler sisters explained ift beforehand, Yuya double-checked using his disk. Why everybody else fails to do that, including Yuya in this duel, is beyond me.
Maybe its because during action duels you cant afford to stand around reading card effects, you have to keep looking out for any action cards in the arena
True. But not all duels are action duels, and they do a lot of standing around just staring at each other anyway. If people's attention were focused on finding action cards, Yuya wouldn't be the only one really using them.
But the key point is that the Tyler sisters already stated the whole thing out loud, which as the video says could, based on this duel, likely only happen with prior acknowledgment of the effects. The Tyler sisters saying the trap's effect basically renders your argument moot. It makes perfect sense that, if you could transition to a view of the opponent's field, you would only be able to read effects that had been stated or used.
I at least think that, in this particular instance, it's shown obviously that Yuya and Yuto weren't thinking clearly. When something like that happens, you're bound to make mistakes.
Given the rating (Y7?) this was as close as they could get to 'prelude to [Banned Content]'. Damn well hope that would trigger Yuya to lose his shit... Notice that even without wills of their own, her two dimensional counterparts still flinched... before Yuya's Rage had built sufficiently to scare their monsters.
Yeah that wasn't very smart. The girls were about to win. Then he HAD to pop on and play pervert. What a fucking idiot! He almost had his victory, and then he played himself because he got way too arrogant.
@@CoffeeSuccubus meh. Clearly the bunghole was going for emotional devestation, and was used to praying on weak people. Unfortunately for him, even if Yuya's feelings for his Bracelet Girl had warn down enough for him to consider dropping her along the way, no way ANY reincarnation of Zarc wouldn't have responded adversely to this level of presumption.
Yeah, I predicted that the Action Magic Cards would end up being convenient asspulls for people to save themselves (mostly Yuya) and, surprise surprise, they did, but I was pleasantly surprised with the detrimental Action Trap Cards and feel they should've been around all the time.
It is a shame, but it actually makes sense, at least once they start going to the other dimensions. The action card system was included in their duel disks to give the Lancers (who are more familiar with it than most enemies) an advantage. They were probably rigged to skew the distribution towards positive cards (and especially Evasion and Miracle). Still, it would have been nice for them to stumble across the occasional action trap or even just an action card that wasn't immediately beneficial more often.
@@jenerix5257 especially if/when thier opponent started getting used to action cards so an occassional "oh you thought?" Action trap was grabbed instead of action magic.
@@jenerix5257 it's actually why both it and the jump in system are so broken. they are specficly designed to be unfair systems that our heroes can abuse much more easily than the villains because they know how the system works and the people they play against do not. it's a scheme worthy of Kaiba/Pegasus really in not telling their opponets the rules of the game before they have to.
Yes! My favourite Arc V duel! Seriously, for all of Arc V’s fault at the of its run, there’s always a diamond to be found and this is one of them. The summoning of Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon is to me one of the most iconic moments of YGO ever. Terrific in every way from the music, animation, Kensho Ono’s performance (who fun fact also voices Yuri), the atmosphere, tone and the famous line, “No matter how many you gather, they’re mere bugs!” or in other translations, “You try to act like mighty animals, but insects are insects!”.
I think there's also one that goes similar to the no matter how many you gather I've seen one that goes "No matter how much you group up bugs are still bugs!"
this duel is the perfect overkill. As much as i love atem's overkill on weevil, this truly felt more terrifying to the point even the monsters who are suppost to be truly evil shake and cower away before zarc just comes in and wins with 2 cards
One of the most iconic lines in the franchise. That line still plays on my head when I'm pushing for game, and then my opponent does something to stop it, but I have a negate ready.
I just realize something really weird, Zarc didn't do anything evil while possessing the Yu boys. Yes he was very brutal and when he finally manifested he attempted to destroy the school of child soldiers, but until then he's directly helpful for the heroes.
I don't think berzerk mode is Zarc controlling them. It's more them getting influenced by his grudge, making them enraged. Its influence also gives them an intense urge to fuse with the other counterparts and become one
I don't think they had a clear idea of what to do with Yuya and his evil side cause for example you have those awareness moments where he relize he can summon/create a new boss monster, but it's never explained why he has that ability or if it's related to Zark
Well I mean, when your stuck in the same body, you tend to aim towards saving each other no matter how evil you are(unless your Raven from GG, then that's your wet dream)
It can't be understated just how dumb Leo is. I get that he misses his daughter but his motivation is to stop a greater evil....which his daughter accomplished. Leaving well enough alone would have saved everyone. And hell even if merging all of the dimensions was what he truly wanted to stop Zarc all he had to do was kill Yuri and the plan is complete
There is a theory out there that in the case of "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" and why Yuya never used him in the final duel against Declan Akabi/Akaba Reiji, but did use "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" instead. That theory was, as this duel analysis pretty much confirmed: Yuya actually couldn't use "Raging Dragon" after the whole thing with Zarc, or even fully when he was dueling Yuri, because "Raging Dragon" was born purely out of rage, and only appeared when Yuya was at his most rage-filled state - such as against Mind Controlled Serena and Ruri, and then again against Leo Akabi/Akaba Leo, whereas Yuya was still able to use "Rebellion Dragon" even when he wasn't in a Berserk state. It's a shame really, but kind of makes sense really.
that is an interesting theory. something I think the anime should have done Is have Yuya go into berserk mode and set up to summon Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon but be able overpower it and instead go into something like Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, symbolising he's freezing the fires of rage inside of him.
@@vanguardplays3418 Now that is something I would have loved to see. It certainly makes sense too if that could've play out. It's a shame really that Yuya never used "Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon", "Meteorburst Dragon", "Vortex Dragon" or "Gravity Dragon"
Personally I thought Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon was an alternate Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon. Rebellion has the same general trend as the other dimension dragon combinations(Odd Eyes Wing Dragon and Odd Eyes Starving Venom Dragon) where the non-Odd-Eyes counterpart clearly took priority in the design, whereas Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon took more cues from Odd-Eyes itself than Dark Rebellion. Instead of Dark Rebellion being the core of the combination there it was Odd-Eyes being the core of the combined form.
I still remember that: "There won't be next turn ...... BATTLE!" Kensho Ono way to make that tranquil fury voice really make that scene better too. No wonder why he landed the role as Giorno Giovana for Part 5.
9:36. Fun Fact, in Episode 108 Yuya (along with Shay) duels the Tyler Sisters Grace and Gloria. During the duel, one of the twins activates a Continuous Spell called Quiet Life and Yuya (in a rare moment of intelligence) uses his duel disk display to check what the card's effect(s) are. So Arc V Duel Disks can check what your opponent's face-up cards can do so Duelists in this series have no excuse for being surprised by their opponent's face-up card effects
I'm actually so excited for this one. This is definitely top 3 Duels in ARC V, and imo top 10 of all time. Just so much emotion, beautiful animation, and great writing in general.
BTW, in Arc V during Shun and Yuya Vs the Amazoness Sisters, Yuya was able to tap an "Enemy" Icon on his duel disk to check the opponent's field and read their continuous spell's effect. So in Arc V at least, players can read opponent's field if they want, but not everyone will read it unless they have a cool head and time to do so.
I'm surprised this was the first Arc-V duel rather than Shun vs Sora, given how popular that one is. I'm not complaining, though! That's an obvious recommendation, but if I had to recommend another Arc-V duel it would be Dennis vs Shun. Both duels, though it was quite obvious Shun had the first one cinched. I would like to recommend Yuto vs Yugo too, but that has so many cards that were never shown it would probably be a pain to analyse.
This duel always felt like one of those duels that, while never directly foreshadowed, was always going to happen from the moment Yuya first lost to Yuzu. Like Crowler vs Jaden's (in GX's final season), Vector vs Nash or Soulburner vs Revolver.
Well - A rescue mission of a friend/love interest - Creep guy touching the girl - Berserker time with a summon chant - Red dragon based in a beast from Book of Revelations appering Yeah, is quite similiar in some parts

After witnessing what the doctor did to Yuzu in front of Yuya, all I can say was: “You pressed the Yuzu button, doc. You shouldn’t have done that…..” Thanks for covering one of my favorite moments in Yugioh history!
For those wondering what if Yuya summoned Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon instead. It would have not gone well, as all the parasites are immune to destruction thanks to Parasite Generator (19:57) so Odd-Eyes Rebellion's effect wouldn't have been able to destroy them. However they might not have needed to summon Odd-Eyes Rebellion, well at first. Since it appears the two summoned their parasites in Atk Mode (look at 19:53 & the fact that they aren't dyed blue), so Yuya could have: 1) Attacked a Parasite with Odd-Eyes & deal 2500 Damage, & maybe defeat Serena if it was her monster. BUT for the plot of the duel lets say it was Ruri's parasite. 2) Then attack with Rebellion & deal 2500 Damage, this time to Serena so that its once again Yuya & Yuto facing off against Ruri, as (to remind) the point of the duel is to bring back out the real Ruri. 3) Finally, Yuya would switch to his 2nd Main Phase, activates Phantom Knight's Possession to summon Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon in Def mode. And thanks to Parasite Generator's trade-off cost (20:27) Parasite Queen wouldn't be strong enough to destroy Odd-Eyes Rebellion. Which also they could have done anyways, because even if only that one Parasite (at 19:53) in in Atk mode, they'd all still leave the field at the end of the turn anyway. AND even if Ruri did draw a Parasite card that somehow let Queen destroy Odd-Eyes Rebellion, it would go to Yuya's Pendulum Zone & its OP Pendulum effect would basically let Yuya use any pendulum card from his deck to the other Pendulum Zone once its his turn... which makes me think back TGS' point at 6:29. As at that point, the Doctor would probably (or defiantly should) send in Rin to take an extra turn & just finish Yuya off with a band new hand of parasite cards... *But* keeping in mind, if Yuya's "goal" of the duel is to have Ruri break free of mind control, I could also see the mind control Ruri about to watch a defenseless Yuya, be reminded of a child Yuto getting beaten up (or something anime-like that) & basically pull off a Ray version of what Yuya does at the end this duel. But with Yuya (or even more thematic Yuto) basically running as Ruri's support. BUT all this ramble aside, *why* *didn't* *Rin* *&* *Serena* just activate their Parasite Magic combo (19:38) when Yuya attacked Parasite Queen? He would have ran into +3600 Atk Monster & lost the duel. Maybe a replay would have occurred & Yuya could have just changed targets? IDK. Also yes, I believe, Yuya was planning on attacking with Odd-eyes since he could have gotten its effect to deal double damage, then attack with Rebellion directly.
The anime only Phantom Knight cards seen in this duel would be great in the real game. I’d love Possession, Round Blaze, Double Badge and Phantom Knight’s Rank Up Magic Burial printed.
Yuyas play with the in advance type of play actually makes sense when you consider they've fought duel academy for awhile now and are used to people jumping into duels against them So it's like just in case
I think my favorite thing about this duel is the subversion of our expectations. Whenever a character gets mind controlled, and the protag uses some cards that they're meant to recognize, it usually ends up awakening the person beneath then. However, in this duel, not only would Yuya have fallen to the mind control if not for zarc, but he loses his shit and obliterates them regardless of the fact that they're not in control of themselves. The moment being so ruthless really caps it off.
Arc-V duels are so interesting and entertaining, but I guess they'd be hard to analyse cause of the action cards. Despite that, I hope we get more. Great video!
I feel the action duals are fine because they’re really no different than “believing in the heart of the cards” and getting the exact card you needed in that moment
Exactly. If In a time when one person would have a stacked deck and get the exact card they want and with shadow duels. It would only make sense for that concept to be taken and turned into action cards to make them more interesting. But it was probably a trend that died down in favour of the vrains world which was the new trend
Fun fact about anime Fusion Parasite and connected monsters: The fusions actually took the Parasite as material, and Parasite didn't have to take a name to fuse. If it had, a silhouette of the monster it replaced would appear.
@@ssjgotenks2009 an idea I had, what if instead of instantly merging, only their minds merged and they could use their cards in desperate situations like in this duel but they physically merged in this duel.
correction, in arc-v they CAN check opponents cards, yuya demonstrated this in his tag duel with shay against the tyler twins, aka gloria and grace (the amazoness players), where he checked the "quiet life" coninuous spell on gloria's backrow, which prevents him from normal and special summoning on the same turn
Agreed. I love me some crazy ass duels, and ARC V has them by the dozen. Even some of the worst duels like the Battle Beast Arc I can get a kick out of just because of how batshit insane the plays can get.
Since you mentioned the whole intrusion thing and how broken it is, it made me realize that if everyone waited until the end phase of the previous person's turn, Zarc could have been locked out of draws, and would not have the chance to destroy monsters for that bs protection thing against Sylvio
Yes!!! Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon 😆 the one card that really got me into the Odd-Eyes archetype and by extension Yu Gi Oh! in general. I play it in Master Duel and it's always very satisfying whenever the combo works, despite its effect being nerfed in the TCG.
Today, I realized: Serenas name may have been intended to be "Selena". I think this because "Selena" means "the moon" reflecting her Lunalight deck, as well as L and R sounds getting mixed up in Japanese due to them not having a proper L sound. The two names have a one letter difference and what does that letter happen to be? The L and R.
23:15. True, but notice they're unconscious -- as opposed to dead, since the castle wall behind them was obliterated... after they bled off their own shares of force. Outer walls of castles are typically a minimum of 2.5m and as much as 6m thick (did a quick Google search). The force required to do this would kill squishy humans... unless Yuya pulled some MGLN 'spells are stun-only period unless you toggle that option off' bullshit
Barring the usual Arc-V problems (mostly just Action Cards being deus ex machinas to let Yuya survive turns he would otherwise lose to), Yuya and Yuto vs Ruri and Serena is one of the best duels of the show. It is a pity that getting the duel required the Bracelet Girls to all become fashion accessories though.
We actually find this out there’s no limit to how many people can jump in IN THE VERY FIRST BATTLE ROYALE! when the obelisk forces are going after Kurosaki in the standard dimension (at the start of the show) the way he’s saved from being beaten is by everybody (yuya, gong, satawari etc) repeatedly joins the duel one after another to stop the obelisk force from getting a turn So yes it is abusable and I think that was by choice (by the writers I mean)
6:50 - That depends on how the penalty works. It could increase by 2000 each time someone joins midway meaning that having anyone else join now would be pointless.
6:43. True, except that he (correctly) figured pawing Yuzu woud have more emotional impact. Put her in the Duel and he would have been sufficiently focused on saving her that he wouldn't have room in his head to despair all that much.
For the intrusion rule, I would have added these: 1. When you intrude, declare one side to ally yourself with. Each opponent splits the penalty LP between them. 2. You cannot attack on the turn you intrude. 3. If you inflict effect damage during this turn, the damage is halved. Each time you deal a total of 800 damage to a single opposing player (even across multiple effects), the target draws 1 card.
What I want to know is why does the penalty thing still exist on duel disk from alternate dimensions like standard ok they did it to make the sport more fair but fusion is going to war with everyone why would you implement a penalty into your own strategy
Also...i'm going to say this: I hate the intrusion penalty since it was used in that tournament in Standard, it shouldn't be happening anywhere else, yet it does, and i *hate* it
I have an idea how to make action duels a little less weird: Replace the action cards with "action zones". Sort of like how in Duelist Kingdom the fields seemed to have built-in terrain effects, action zones could have special effects as long as you're in them. These effects would be defined in advance and could allow counterplay, keeping both duelists moving as they try to get to an action zone that best counters the opponent's.
Some of the most memorable moments of the Yugioh series is always the overkill moment, or just the moment where the protagonist has had enough and just decides to win
I mean, it should have ended with Yusei losing and struggling to ctch up by beating Team Catastrophe to make up for it. And beating Team Unicorn on a rematch.
Yusei could've beat Jean outright in two different ways (depending on a couple things), both diverging from the turn he makes Draco-Equiste. The first one depends on if the contents of your own GY are known, which I would assume they are since Yusei uses a bunch of GY effects in this duel. If this is the case, Yusei should know exactly what's left in his deck, including the speed spell he drew on his final turn. This means Yusei could've held onto Speed Fusion instead of making Draco-Equiste, drew the other speed spell, then inflicted 1600 with Speed World 2 for game. The second depends on if Draco-Equiste requires Junk Warrior or just a warrior like irl. If it's like irl, then Yusei could've brought back Quickdraw with Synchron Explorer to make Junk Archer, banish Lightning Tricorn, fuse for Draco-Equiste (plays around Jean's set Return Damage) and attack for game.
@@CovenofSoulsVI Yeah, the most optimal play IRL would be to summon Quickdraw given that his deck revealed that card last season. Or he waits until next turn to ensure the burn damage from Speed World 2 is enough for game. A good choreographed Duel should allow ALL the players to use EVERY CARD in their deck, whether be to activate or to discard for cost.
I mean, I don't mind the last turn. Rather than a yusei win, this was a team unicorn lose and made perfect sense for their characters and development. As for the rest of the duel goes... So much hype and potential, but god awful execution. Aki's only moment to shine getting stolen from her, Yusei being a Gary stu, the most important fusion summon not doing much overall, and characters that seem important at first but never reappear again, making for a disaster of a tournament opening

If people's attention were focused on finding action cards, Yuya wouldn't be the only one really using them.
it's not like having an overlay unit when destroyed would've changed anything
But the key point is that the Tyler sisters already stated the whole thing out loud, which as the video says could, based on this duel, likely only happen with prior acknowledgment of the effects. The Tyler sisters saying the trap's effect basically renders your argument moot. It makes perfect sense that, if you could transition to a view of the opponent's field, you would only be able to read effects that had been stated or used.
I at least think that, in this particular instance, it's shown obviously that Yuya and Yuto weren't thinking clearly. When something like that happens, you're bound to make mistakes.
Doktor: *places a singular finger on Yuzu's face*
The entire fandom: Oh yeah, it's Berserk time.

@@CoffeeSuccubus and that's why pushing the giorno button on a slightly pissed yuya is enough for tgs' favourite overkill moment
It's a shame that the detrimental action traps just ceased to exist after that one episode they were featured
@@jenerix5257 still kinda trash the use of action cards, i know both players can use but it doesnt feel strategy
The sheer fury that Zarc had in his voice when he has that. Like, the sheer disgust he had felt at they attempt to defy what he wants
I think there's also one that goes similar to the no matter how many you gather I've seen one that goes

One of the most iconic lines in the franchise. That line still plays on my head when I'm pushing for game, and then my opponent does something to stop it, but I have a negate ready.
21:17 when holograms get terrified you know shit is about to go down
I just realize something really weird, Zarc didn't do anything evil while possessing the Yu boys.
I mean, that's all zarc wants, brutal duels. What do you expect him to do?
@@junsengjs To be honest, I've never thought of that, but it does seem like something rather plausible that I could believe too.
also, 21:48 shows that it's 'Supreme King' Odd Eyes Raging Dragon, which shows Zarc's subtle influence
I still remember that: "There won't be next turn ...... BATTLE!"
Kensho Ono way to make that tranquil fury voice really make that scene better too.
All leadd to diva ideologY ( dsod ) and arc v rushe ending cause of that :((
I'm surprised this was the first Arc-V duel rather than Shun vs Sora, given how popular that one is.

The moment when Yuya summoned Raging Dragon was extremely similar to when Issei Hyodou turned into Juggernaut Drive.

Since it appears the two summoned their parasites in Atk Mode (look at 19:53 & the fact that they aren't dyed blue), so Yuya could have:
1) Attacked a Parasite with Odd-Eyes & deal 2500 Damage, & maybe defeat Serena if it was her monster.
And then pk would be tier zero

Yuyas play with the in advance type of play actually makes sense when you consider they've fought duel academy for awhile now and are used to people jumping into duels against them
So it's like just in case
I think my favorite thing about this duel is the subversion of our expectations. Whenever a character gets mind controlled, and the protag uses some cards that they're meant to recognize, it usually ends up awakening the person beneath then. However, in this duel, not only would Yuya have fallen to the mind control if not for zarc, but he loses his shit and obliterates them regardless of the fact that they're not in control of themselves. The moment being so ruthless really caps it off.
20:53 Note to the doctor: wait until after your opponent is defeated before you taunt them. They might get angry enough to make a comeback
Arc-V duels are so interesting and entertaining, but I guess they'd be hard to analyse cause of the action cards. Despite that, I hope we get more. Great video!
The fusion parasite got a bit too comfortable 😂 3:58
And here 8:50
I feel the action duals are fine because they’re really no different than “believing in the heart of the cards” and getting the exact card you needed in that moment
Exactly. If In a time when one person would have a stacked deck and get the exact card they want and with shadow duels. It would only make sense for that concept to be taken and turned into action cards to make them more interesting. But it was probably a trend that died down in favour of the vrains world which was the new trend
"There will be no next turn." I don't know about you, but I get chills when I hear that line. Like, seriously, how vicious can you get?
Fun fact about anime Fusion Parasite and connected monsters: The fusions actually took the Parasite as material, and Parasite didn't have to take a name to fuse. If it had, a silhouette of the monster it replaced would appear.

Since you mentioned the whole intrusion thing and how broken it is, it made me realize that if everyone waited until the end phase of the previous person's turn, Zarc could have been locked out of draws, and would not have the chance to destroy monsters for that bs protection thing against Sylvio
I'd like to see a video about Yuto vs Yugo. Had Yuya not interrupted the duel it could have gone completely differently.
Yes!!! Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon 😆 the one card that really got me into the Odd-Eyes archetype and by extension Yu Gi Oh! in general. I play it in Master Duel and it's always very satisfying whenever the combo works, despite its effect being nerfed in the TCG.
Indeed
It is a pity that getting the duel required the Bracelet Girls to all become fashion accessories though.

when the obelisk forces are going after Kurosaki in the standard dimension (at the start of the show) the way he’s saved from being beaten is by everybody (yuya, gong, satawari etc) repeatedly joins the duel one after another to stop the obelisk force from getting a turn
So yes it is abusable and I think that was by choice (by the writers I mean)

Once again I am asking: Would Zarc have won against everyone or would someone have won against him before it happened?
6:50 - That depends on how the penalty works. It could increase by 2000 each time someone joins midway meaning that having anyone else join now would be pointless.
What about a review of the Galaxy-Eyes rivals of Kaito vs Mizael duels to see who was the better dragon master?
6:43. True, except that he (correctly) figured pawing Yuzu woud have more emotional impact.
Put her in the Duel and he would have been sufficiently focused on saving her that he wouldn't have room in his head to despair all that much.
I always love duels like this where the nicest and fun loving guy just snaps and let everyone know why they shouldn't piss them off

For the intrusion rule, I would have added these:
Imagine teaming with Zarc and trying to sabotage him
@@kanekikingstorm2113 Lmao this would be the only good use of those extra stipulations.
1. From what I remember it was a battle royal mechanic so it should be for everyone vs everyone (but they clearly abused for team duels)
19:15 is that battlin' boxer cheat commissioner? Damn what a blast from the past!
What I want to know is why does the penalty thing still exist on duel disk from alternate dimensions like standard ok they did it to make the sport more fair but fusion is going to war with everyone why would you implement a penalty into your own strategy

This duel was more intense than I remembered. Enlightening coverage!
Some of the most memorable moments of the Yugioh series is always the overkill moment, or just the moment where the protagonist has had enough and just decides to win
Action cards makes the "heart of cards" shenanigans look like a ultimate reverse uno/revive card.
This is gonna be a treat :) Could we get Team 5D's vs Team Unicorn? If you want misplays galore, this is one to consider
I mean, it should have ended with Yusei losing and struggling to ctch up by beating Team Catastrophe to make up for it. And beating Team Unicorn on a rematch.
If you want primo could have won against Yusei the first time they duel
@@CovenofSoulsVI
Yeah, the most optimal play IRL would be to summon Quickdraw given that his deck revealed that card last season.
