    Thanks for this - need to write down all your tips for our holiday next week. Particularly appreciate the takeaway tips, they work best for little kids.

    Hi again Andy. I typed a post to follow up to my above one but it looks as though it hasn't loaded.
    The Beecroft Weapons Range roads to Honeyoon Bay, Long Beach, Bindijini and Target are closed due to weather damage and unexploded devices (ammo) found on Long Beach.
    The road to Point Perp is open only on weekends.
    The ADF is not saying anything right now and it may be that the Range may not be open by Christmas. You would have to check with BWR and ADF. Regards.

    Hello Andy. I have been making my way through your videos and I have to say they are wonderful and bring a smile to my face.
    I live in Canberra and spent my childhood holidays in the family caravan at Broulee beach caravan park.
    I have always adored the ocean but due to circumstances, have not set foot on a beach in about 7 years. I had to have my left leg amputated and am now in a wheelchair.
    Your channel is a godsend for people like myself. You tell us where the waters are calm, what facilities there are and if there are steps.
    I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all the effort you put in and all the stunning scenery that you artfully capture. It's just total eye candy! So I humbly ask for MORE...please 😁

      Thanks Edwina. Like a lot of channels, the pandemic took the wind out of the sails of the Barefoot Geek,l and once you've got out of a routine it's tough to get back in there. That said, I do have plans for content on this channel and hope to start producing some fresh content here soon. :)

    • @lorrainehodder8913
      @lorrainehodder8913 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honeymoon is beautiful BUT right now, November 2022 it is not accessible due to damaged roads. It is managed by the Navy. It is in the Beecroft Weapons Range near Currarong. I don't know if it will be open by Christmas season. I have doubts.

    Cape St George lighthouse is over 3 Km from a walking track ... it's a hell of a long trek .. there's no car park or anything there .... or is Google earth that out of date ..😯

    • @barefootgeek

      There's a large car-park 200m from the lighthouse and has been for many years. Also an asphalt road in.
