- On the next episode of our van life Australia road trip series, we made it to the gorgeous region of Jervis Bay, home to some of the whitest sands and bluest waters in all of Australia!
We wasted no time checking out all the amazing things to do in Jervis Bay, from hanging out at Hyams Beach to going on a whale-watching cruise, exploring Currarong and of course getting a cheeky beer (or 3) at the new Jervis Bay Brewery.
Marlee has been an absolute dream so far on our #vanlife journey and travelling around New South Wales and Australia by van has been the best way to see this country.

Thank you Jarryd and Alesha, great footage of JB , visited for years and then lived there for 4 years, best Scuba diving along the NSW coast. Been in Nth Qld for almost 12 months, and really miss life at the Bay. On my list for my Vanlife 😱
Thank you for watching. We never went scuba diving there so we will have to add that to our list when we return. We just finished up exploring northern Queensland. So beautiful. Now we are heading to Tasmania and will be passing Jervis Bay again. 😀

It's a shame you went the wrong way around the bay as you missed Murray's Beach (much nicer than Hyams) and Cape St George Light House ruins (very photogenic!) You are aloud to fly drones on the weekends and in the morning as long as it's not over the Navy base or ships.
Thanks for the tips. We will have to go back. We couldn't get into Booderee National Park because of covid restrictions at the time. We want to go back to explore this national park. Good to know about the times for the drone flying.
