And Both keepers were good in their boxes. Honestly I found this match more enjoyable than a few of the knockouts in the champions league.

Black played a good game but I guess white wanted it more second half. Game could have easily been 5-2 maybe even 6-2 but a lot of missed easy opportunities. Good foot work and ball control from both teams for the most part.

And using the lines just makes it easier, otherwise for me even before using the lines to determine whether it was an offside or not, I could clearly see it wasn't.
AIFC you could maybe work on sometime fast paced final third situational drills, this would help with decision making in the final third so it doesn't feel so foreign to the players when they get there. Easily should've closed this game but you're forwards had some nerves they need to workout on the training grounds. Bol

I remember when I was like 12 playing against an academy team and my coach before the game was going on about how he wishes all of us can eventually get into an academy program and play at the highest level. Then we smashed the academy team 9-0. Also they were 1 year older. Later when I was 16 I played against Sounders academy and got beat comfortably 2-0. Idk how the first academy is allowed to be called an academy tho

Allot of academies/ teams in my area have also had great skill drops because of player injuries and usually the best players will become friends and all move to a certain club / academy and leave there old places dry with the worse players
Keeper on black was great. Sadly couldn't stop that fk even though he had it covered. Prep school keeper on the other hand made more than a few bad decisions that put his team on defense immediately. Black team needed to put away all those clear goals and they would've walked away 5-2

This was definitely at the Prep school. The ref gave the prep school a lot of iffy calls. The last one didn't even look off sides to me when the ball was kicked.
to be fair, a knee to that specific area of your upper leg can hurt to some degree, in some cases it could even make your leg go numb for a good few secs

As an European, I am very surprised (positively) by the fitness levels and technique displayed by many players. At the same time, it's very surprising to see how easily they give the ball away in midfield, and the lack of tension many of them have. Looks as if losing the ball in front of your box was an OK thing to do. Also, AIFC really need to work on their finishing. They missed so many sitters, and could have made much more in different counter-attacks. To me, the worst part ain't missing a goal, but making it look like it's not a big deal. It should be. Players should be taking more responsibility IMO. Also, the free kick went in through the middle of the goal... Great editing and an enjoyable video to watch!

Pretty clean game everyone played well. Don’t underestimate school teams. A lot of these schools recruit across a large region with families moving to a location just to play for that school.

Review of this game - random uk football supporter: Now I understand that every football game pressures a lot of players - nervous for making mistakes, therefore hesitant to play the ball forward in a creative way so i will not be too harsh in reviewing this. Throughout this game the only player on the black side who was semi decent was the keeper, apart from an odd few mistakes (probably pressure so we allow it) but he had calm decision making and made some good saves. Everyone else on this team was very questionable if I'm honest. You are not ronaldo and you are not Messi or neymar. That being said - cut down on the ridiculous amount of unnecessary skill moves and flair movements. There were players on this side doing one too many ball rolls or step overs and just losing the ball. You will be much better off if you were more consistent and Calm in your play making and this is much more desirable to coaches. Alongside this, the marking of players was inconsistent as well. Too many times was the team drawn out of position and left a wide gap open. The other only player who I thought was class on the pitch (probably the best out there) was number 18 for the white side. Most skill moves used we're actually useful in creating good plays, ronaldo chop in first half to drop a defender etc. If anything he was let down by his own team as there were many chances where 18 would cut in or play a pass for no one to make a run or to be in the right position in the box. You do not need 5 players surrounding the keeper in a normal cross. But yeah like I said, take this with a pinch of salt - still a decent game too watch. The refs calls were wack as well. White player injured in box in first half should've been an easy yellow.

I'd suggest quicker passes, and to look who you're passing it to, also a bit more communication would help too. Not only that but better sportsmanship aswell. Every game should be played with the goal of having fun. I learned this from my coach, we're a D4 school.
