    Dude, you don’t understand how much this helped me because I used to have like 50 latency now I’m down to like 30 through 37 but my bandwidth is really high but I manage

    This won’t work unless your router has firewall rules where it can prioritize gaming packets as well. It has to be done through your router through firewall chains and it has to be paired with pc markings too.

      @@abs1_it’s not as simple as you think. Most internet service providers will deny the prioritization you put on your packets. Sometimes they already mark your packets before it gets into your network. So your gaming packets could’ve already been marked as a low priority or best effort which is a standard class for packets. Luckily my internet provider doesn’t mark packets on their end and I am in full control of prioritizing packets.

    Do you think if I lower my download bandwidth I can get from bufferbloat grade B to A? My ips is 400mb/s gateway cable modem/router connect with ethernet. Speedtest are always 430 to 450 mb/s

    • @q8te123
      @q8te123 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you cap your speed to lower yes if your getting worse cables to get less no if you getting 450 then your cap needs to be around 400 to 300 try and look for the best with the highest possible speed

      Might depend on your CPU and what you have running. Realistically having QoS checked shouldn't do much of anything without setup to actually utilize it. May also depend on your router, I'm not 100% sure how this particular setup in windows works but generally speaking it should be marking the packets from / to that EXE for priority and if your router doesn't support it then it simply won't work. If the router DOES support QoS once you get into gig+ speeds you need some pretty hefty hardware. Generally at that rate though QoS doesn't matter as much unless there's a lot of traffic on said connection as then you're prioritizing the time sensitive packets over the incoming Netflix data which is being buffered for example.

    • @MidnightMarrow
      @MidnightMarrow 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jonathanmoreira8930 Yeah I've never heard of QoS being enabled in windows causing such a drastic problem, it's on by default and most people have full speed with it on, me included even though I've not bothered configuring anything to use it for a long while, disabling it or keeping it on for me yields the same gigabit speeds from my connection. It would have to either be the router or something weird happened with a config in windows or even something as simple as network drivers needing upgraded or downgraded. Unless your network has a lot of traffic this QoS "fix" likely won't do anything anyway, specially if the router doesn't support it.
