I've always liked the idea of these spin offs doing it's own thing but i hope the plan is to do this for a few years and then tie in the shows by making a movie of the walking dead a final conclusion to the walking dead franchise

Nikki those underground caves are the catacombs in Paris . They are the remains of over 6 million people from the Bubonic plague. You can tour the catacombs when you visit Paris. The Bones were stacked categorized and put in order buy the Paris monks. I love history and have read upon all of it. My brother wa able to visit last year. Truly an amazing part of the cities history.
Good catch Nikki...Daryl falling was a throughback to the S4 episode where they went for a supply run at The Big Spot grocery story. Walkers were the ones falling through the roof. Zack died that episode. The "you ARE the father" reveal with Quinn was good, Cordron the villain is great, and I'm totally loving this series.
Bryan in the kitchen is a typical french joke. We had a method at school to learn english where we had typical sentences to learn and there is this sentence . When we don’t speak english well, we know that at minimum everybody knows this sentence.
He only has immunity if he doesn’t come back as a walker after he dies. That’s where The Walking Dead differs from the last of us because everyone in the walking dead is infected. When they die, they turn into zombies. Yes, people will die if they get bit too, but the bites don’t turn them into walkers the way they do in the last of us
yah but why would you take some kid away from their parents? especially when the outbreak just begun, nobody really knew the severity. Besides imagine the mum still alive and cant find her daughter, that would be worse imo than dying with your family
I think the reason it's tragic for the woman is she could have taken her but didn't, and couldn't warn her about wyat was to come, but hoped the best for her. She realized she'd condemned the girl to die by not taking her, but with her companions during the outbreak she probably wouldn't have convinced them, so she didn't try.
I'm not sure, but I think the nightclub in or near the catacombs is actually a real thing in Paris? Something like 40 people a year get lost in the catacombs. They have patrols to rescue lost tourists and thrill seekers.
I was fortunate to see the Eiffel tower in 1989 and then unfortunately some catacombs in Rome. Under a church near the Spanish steps, which were incredible, there were dead monks bones arranged around walls and made in to chandeliers and more, I couldn't cope with that so I left very quickly.
The bit where the pigeon was being used to deliver a message that's realistic because back during WWI if i remember correctly in the army and military they'd use pigeons to deliver messages oh yeah and speaking on the topic of the Catacombs they are real and there's even a movie called As Above So Below that was shot there and in the third original Call Of Duty Modern Warfare during the campaign players go through the catacombs
If I was 15 years into an apocalypse I would definitely be partying lol. I couldn't imagine the boredom of just sitting doing nothing, no video games, no youtube, no football

That's what I hope too, but it doesn't feel like they have intentions to wrap it all up any time soon. Just more seasons and more spin-offs, which I'll continue watching as long as I enjoy them 👌🏻

I’ve been to that cemetery, and also the catacombs, I don’t think they had to put the moss on those gravestones. That cemetery is 100s of years old. Probably older than the United States itself. A lot of the older graves are already falling apart - some with their front doors hanging off.
When you learn English in France, you study from a textbook. We almost all have the same manual. In this one, one of the characters is named Bryan. When we learn the rooms of a house, we have to find Bryan who is in the kitchen. Since then it's a joke, every French person who doesn't speak English knows this phrase.
For some reason i can't help but think what Glenn would of thought of seeing all this...would be amazing to have Glenn and Daryl back in action together again. Great episode keep up the good work.
I think what they were working on with the walker was a way to make their heads explode remotely. If they could set up a radio transmitter that sent out that signal to the entire city of Paris and they killed ALL the walkers at one time that would be useful.

Also, coke and meth, in the short term, are stimulants that improve reflex. I havent tried one and didnt like the other because mellow is what I chase (red wine) but those two, if you have a safe space for the crash, might work in the apocalypse.

My theory is the face tattoo society, is developing a bio weapon, to destroy the walkers, which would explain them timing that walkers death. But the bio weapon mutated some walkers, creating the variants. I think Laurent’s Blood may have the final element needed, to perfect the bio weapon.
They used pigeons in the military in the Second World War a pigeon even got a medal 🏅 for saving thousands of soldiers even after having his leg shot off he kept flying to deliver the message to retreat when he arrived the military nurses preformed surgery on him and saved him.
i think that lady he gave daryl recording she is definitely connected to CRM some kind of way and i believe that recording will come to play on rick show.. i think some way rick will hear that recording and thats how it will get connected in some way ..

Maybe one of the silliest things about the whole universe is how they pretend that zombies aren't a thing in literary or pop culture. If this really happened, nobody would be calling them "walkers" or "rotters". They'd obviously be called "zombies".
I feel like Laurent is going to be immune or have some sort of immunity because just like in The Last of Us show, Ellie's immunity is explained from them showing that her mother was bit right before Ellie was born. The same exact thing that happened to Laurent and his mother.
I would NOT tell anyone about the kid's "daywalker" birth. We've already seen that boss lady experimenting on walkers, what do you think she would do with a boy that might be the choosen one? He might be immune to the walker's bite but he might also be something else. Who knows, maybe when he reaches puberty if he breathes on someone they might turn into a walker? And what would the boss lady do if she found out about the daywalker birth? Would she take pregnant women and, right before the birth, have them bitten to try to replicate the daywalker birth? Things could get ugly really fast.
Im curious if they're doing this, just to have it not be true. Like they believe he has special blood or something and they try it and he either dies and it doesn't work or he doesn't die and it doesn't work. They did something similar with Grace in fear, they tried giving her stuff they believed could work to cure her and it doesn't work, right?
Because its Daryl I'm all in but man there getting a army literally after one guy. And these underground nightclubs it just makes the show so strange compared to what we were used to seeing in the walking dead. Still I'm here to follow Daryls story
I think, in this case, when the floor started breaking under you, you have to think when you put weight on your 1 foot to push off the floor to jump away, you'll probably too late.
Princess had the walker officer with the ticket book attached to the car to gove it a ticket, the walker in the chair at the street cafe fully attached to the chair, etc. Princess did this. She would have found this quite entertaining... before she met Eugene, Yuniko and Ezekiel. That's the beginning of her snapping back to personhood. "Actual, living people" Princess's walkers were not "dead walkers" go back and double check. My personal take on the relationships. He was involved with Isobele, he had a fling qith Lily while he and Isobele were together. Lily didn't tell Isobele because Isobele wouldnlikely find out who the father was and didnt want her sister to be mad at her. (Remember, she's young, and he probably convinced her that her sister would be angry at her for, as he would describe it "seducing him" or "getting him wasted/drunk/etc" he comes across as a manipulator, and at the time before the outbreak, Isobele trusted him deeply. It wasn't until Isobele figured out what was going on with Lily that Lily even admitted she was pregnant. Saying who the father was in that desperate situation wouldn't likely work out for Lily, from her frame of mind. Admittedly, I did not see the father until it was brought up. But I'm going to defer to Isobele with the defense of "1. You cheated on me. 2. You cheated on me with my little sister. 3. Neither you nor she volunteered that you were the father. So, how do you want to tell me I should not have kept this from you? 4. You wanted to abandon her, now i see that was more selfish than I thought it was then."
Now it makes sense why her sister did not tell her she was pregnant. The way he acted. Dump her cause I only care about you. Red Flags!!! As soon as I saw Quinn... Looked at his hair... YOU ARE THE FATHER 😅😂😅😂 The Eiffel Tower must be surrounded by walkers if it makes that sound when its windy. Just like in dead city... I wish there were more zombies. More hordes of walkers. Why's everyone being as ungrateful as daryl about the homing pigeons😩😅 not everyone has a radio in the apocalypse and must make do with what they have. I thought it was a great idea when it was revealed and was so annoyed at daryl's attitude. I mean, why is he in such a rush this series? America is still obviously also as apocalyptic and he will get there when he does. Idk. I js don't like ungratefulness from our characters, especially in this universe, when they know literally the whole world is scavenging and working with what they have.
why didn't Daryl turn? you're not supposed to have walker blood enter your system. like when Negan put walker blood on the weapons and they turned. he had a burner seer his skin with his skin, open wound to walker blood.. does Daryl have a part too?
All through human kind human's have found ways to blow off steam whether it was alcohol, drugs, music, etc. Human's have always had a desire to escape reality. I don't think this far into the apocalypse that it is that far fetched. 5 minutes into the outbreak I could see that being very strange but not now. It's human nature.
More insults. It's almost like each episode is written and directed by people who were given a 30 second overview of TWD universe and even what happened in the previous episodes. How did Isabelle go from being a warrior nun (and a manipulative thief) to a damsel in distress that just sands frozen when confronted with walkers. For her and the nuns to have survived all this time, they must have dispatched legions of walkers not to mention in the first episode, she rescued Daryl (who inexplicably is now a naive rube that instantly turns his back on strangers so they can get the jump on him or runs blindly after decoys into obvious traps). Is she Faye Wray or Milla Jojovich? What kind of logic dictates that a walker is full of acid that can eat through a locked door, but doesn't dissolve the walker itself? Who taught the CGI team physics that makes walkers that fall out of a third floor window accelerate to the ground like they were shot out of a cannon? They should have thrown a dummies out of the windows and then replaced them with CGI walkers if they don't know what 9.8 m/s² looks like. Then, in what can only be described as a scene right out of the Road Runner cartoons, Daryl stands motionless on a roof top as cracks slowly radiate from his feet until it finally caves in. Any normal person, much less a long time survivor of the apocalypse, would have either jumped aside at the first sign of cracks or dropped down to lay flat to distribute his weight to try to avoid falling through (like you would on a frozen lake). A decent director would have just had the roof cave in instantly instead of making Dixon look like an idiot again. This is so irritating, because the story set up is so good as is the acting. If they only had someone who knew how to direct and to rewrite stupid parts of the script, it would be a masterpiece.
@@emre_serin Even if that's true, like I said, she's seen plenty of death destruction and mayhem. This was just one example of the many I've pointed out not only in this episode, but in all the episodes aired so far, of weak writing, directing and editing. Not sure why you feel the need to defend it. You should expect better.

I would NOT tell anyone about the kid's "daywalker" birth. We've already seen that boss lady experimenting on walkers, what do you think she would do with a boy that might be the choosen one? He might be immune to the walker's bite but he might also be something else. Who knows, maybe when he reaches puberty if he breathes on someone they might turn into a walker? And what would the boss lady do if she found out about the daywalker birth? Would she take pregnant women and, right before the birth, have them bitten to try to replicate the daywalker birth? Things could get ugly really fast.

Like they believe he has special blood or something and they try it and he either dies and it doesn't work or he doesn't die and it doesn't work. They did something similar with Grace in fear, they tried giving her stuff they believed could work to cure her and it doesn't work, right?

Princess had the walker officer with the ticket book attached to the car to gove it a ticket, the walker in the chair at the street cafe fully attached to the chair, etc. Princess did this. She would have found this quite entertaining... before she met Eugene, Yuniko and Ezekiel. That's the beginning of her snapping back to personhood. "Actual, living people"
Princess's walkers were not "dead walkers" go back and double check.
My personal take on the relationships. He was involved with Isobele, he had a fling qith Lily while he and Isobele were together. Lily didn't tell Isobele because Isobele wouldnlikely find out who the father was and didnt want her sister to be mad at her. (Remember, she's young, and he probably convinced her that her sister would be angry at her for, as he would describe it "seducing him" or "getting him wasted/drunk/etc" he comes across as a manipulator, and at the time before the outbreak, Isobele trusted him deeply. It wasn't until Isobele figured out what was going on with Lily that Lily even admitted she was pregnant. Saying who the father was in that desperate situation wouldn't likely work out for Lily, from her frame of mind.
Admittedly, I did not see the father until it was brought up. But I'm going to defer to Isobele with the defense of "1. You cheated on me. 2. You cheated on me with my little sister. 3. Neither you nor she volunteered that you were the father. So, how do you want to tell me I should not have kept this from you? 4. You wanted to abandon her, now i see that was more selfish than I thought it was then."

Why's everyone being as ungrateful as daryl about the homing pigeons😩😅 not everyone has a radio in the apocalypse and must make do with what they have. I thought it was a great idea when it was revealed and was so annoyed at daryl's attitude. I mean, why is he in such a rush this series? America is still obviously also as apocalyptic and he will get there when he does. Idk. I js don't like ungratefulness from our characters, especially in this universe, when they know literally the whole world is scavenging and working with what they have.

All through human kind human's have found ways to blow off steam whether it was alcohol, drugs, music, etc. Human's have always had a desire to escape reality. I don't think this far into the apocalypse that it is that far fetched. 5 minutes into the outbreak I could see that being very strange but not now. It's human nature.
I think you are not taking into account the different culture in France. Paris is full of art and performance. This would be a acceptable there.

More insults. It's almost like each episode is written and directed by people who were given a 30 second overview of TWD universe and even what happened in the previous episodes. How did Isabelle go from being a warrior nun (and a manipulative thief) to a damsel in distress that just sands frozen when confronted with walkers. For her and the nuns to have survived all this time, they must have dispatched legions of walkers not to mention in the first episode, she rescued Daryl (who inexplicably is now a naive rube that instantly turns his back on strangers so they can get the jump on him or runs blindly after decoys into obvious traps). Is she Faye Wray or Milla Jojovich? What kind of logic dictates that a walker is full of acid that can eat through a locked door, but doesn't dissolve the walker itself? Who taught the CGI team physics that makes walkers that fall out of a third floor window accelerate to the ground like they were shot out of a cannon? They should have thrown a dummies out of the windows and then replaced them with CGI walkers if they don't know what 9.8 m/s² looks like. Then, in what can only be described as a scene right out of the Road Runner cartoons, Daryl stands motionless on a roof top as cracks slowly radiate from his feet until it finally caves in. Any normal person, much less a long time survivor of the apocalypse, would have either jumped aside at the first sign of cracks or dropped down to lay flat to distribute his weight to try to avoid falling through (like you would on a frozen lake). A decent director would have just had the roof cave in instantly instead of making Dixon look like an idiot again. This is so irritating, because the story set up is so good as is the acting. If they only had someone who knew how to direct and to rewrite stupid parts of the script, it would be a masterpiece.
isabel was like that because she was all out of sorts since she literally JUST saw the kid she knew dead.

This was just one example of the many I've pointed out not only in this episode, but in all the episodes aired so far, of weak writing, directing and editing. Not sure why you feel the need to defend it. You should expect better.
