The Wily stage 1 and 3 songs are so epic. I remember rolling my eyes thinking how the last three Mega Mans had forgettable castle themes then these blew my socks off. 😍
I'm pretty damn good at this game. Been playing it since the 90s when I was like 5 or 6. But I can't even go a whole fight with bass, let alone the whole damn game, without getting hit once. That's pure fuckn talent
Gutsman G died like a maverick, you know, he explodes several times until the screen turns white, once the screen goes back to normal, Gutsman G has vanished
daaaaaaamn!!!!!!!!!! you made the boss so easy to kill, and you discovered many things to kill gutsman easily, i really congratulate your detective and force skills >D
@ChoosenOneStudios You can hear the "shot blocked" sound when the shots touch the shield, but very shortly after that it just pierces through and smacks you in the face regardless. XD Thus, as a result, the Protoshield is a no-no against Bass.
On the switch 2018 the way you win is almost the same except fpr spamming the attack button. It no longer works. I had to wait for the rocks to comw down and defeated him that way. Thank you though
I didn't know about the Slash Claw... I'll have to remember this for the next time I play it... I remember you asked why you get such a following on your vids... I think it's because you keep teaching a lot of us these new tricks we never knew about until now. I just used to keep spamming the Super Adapter on Gutsman and jumping over the blocks...
@metaldragon3303 Mainly plenty of practice, really. This was a stage I was worried about as I did not know how to deal with that grab attack until I figured it out through practice. Emulators are more friendly for practicing... lets me put a save state in spots I have trouble and practice them many times before attempting to record the full stage.
Hey man can you lend me a hand? I have a SNES copy of mm7, but my passwords after I beat area 1 or die in area 2 only lead me back to area 1. The password at the end of your video does the same. Is that intended? maybe i have a defective copy?
@FrenchyStarFox Yeah, that is my problem with that strategy is the inability to slide causes a LOT of trouble if you are trying to avoid damage. I needed the slide to keep me AWAY from Bass to avoid his point-blank shots.
Do you know that the charged shots of the Super Adapter are far more effective against Bass than Mega Buster's charged shots ? Maybe the fight would be a bit more dangerous, though.
@BlueRay264 Heck, even my viewers teach me new things every now and then, so the learning experience goes both ways! Happy my videos are helpful, though. It is part of the reason why I make them. =n.n=
I have no green idea how in the actual hell you can beat Bass with no damage! I easily miss when I charge my buster to maximum and get hit by him. When I'm halfway to beat him, I usually die. It's freaking hard to manipulate him and only one little mistake can result in loss with Bass. I can't stand the fact that I can't beat such a good game due to him! I TOTALLY DON'T GET IT!
Wow. Words do not describe how incredibly OBNOXIOUS this stage is. Hey, who needs to actually see where they're going in a video game? Apparently someone thought the "video" part of video game was a serving suggestion, like the strawberries on the front of a box of corn flakes. Well, putting up with horse shit is purely optional for me too, so I'm going to use passwords to skip this entirely.
Joe Franlin, J Bird I agree with neither of you. Music is a gem in classic series and I don't think the game is itself bad, there are a lot of creative sections and potential of some ideas is great
How ironic. In this game, the cutting weapon is Guts Man weakness.
The stage complete PERFECT. Woow

I can't believe Bass didn't hit you once in that first encounter. Bloody amazing.
3:05
Bass: I'll be back
bass actually says that line ALOT. even in MM8...
terminator fan?
This stage is amazing and possibly my favorite in the classic series.

I appreciate your hard work on this.
So that's what Dr. Willy did with the abducted Guts Man/Guts Man Replica
Funny thing bass is more weak to the super adaptors rocket punch in this level (good job doing it the intended way though!)
You make it look so easy it also looks like a TAS. Playing this on Steam right now Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. Helps me a lot TY! Subscribed too.
Have you tried the super adapter on Bass' first form? It kills him in four-five hits, try it!
the Super Adaptor when upgraded with the Hyper Rocket Punch shreds Bass
daaaaaaamn!!!!!!!!!!
you made the boss so easy to kill, and you discovered many things to kill gutsman easily, i really congratulate your detective and force skills >D
The gimmick platforms hint at the boss

PinkKittyRose Will you be a Megaman 11 gameplay when it comes out? : D
Fun Fact: Bass' Weakness is the Noise Crush
Makes sense that the level with the cutscene where Mega Man finds him injured is Shade Man's stage
Interesting fact is that the beta had different BGMs for Wily stages 1 and 2
Wow never knew that.
You have made Proto Man proud by using his shield!
On the switch 2018 the way you win is almost the same except fpr spamming the attack button. It no longer works. I had to wait for the rocks to comw down and defeated him that way. Thank you though

Proto Shield should have been just an addition to Rock's default gear instead of being equippable.
3:29 The Guts Fight
@PinkKittyRose That's what I thought. But if anyone is not aiming for a perfect run, but rather a speed-run, the Super Adapter is the way to go :)
Tuerie cette musique.
Yous aid his shots get through eventually? Do they not at first? A good video :)
Roahm would have loved to have that shield against the little birdies x3
Super Adapter works as well for Bass
@Ecclire I think he didn't prefer to use it because there weren't may enemies that the shield would be effective against
0:03 Oops!!
I use the power adapter to fly up when Guts Man G rushes at me. Then again, I use it for the whole fight, too.
@CountryAngel100 I suspected as much. Never really hit them before, seeing how I always Super Adaptor'd right over them. :P
@ganonman8 no, as in roahm hates pippies, so anything that kills them is probably good to him
why was only guts man redone?
I used the charged sonic wave against gustmanV2 and it works just as well, so what is his TRUE weakness, who knows
I thought I was the only one that knew about the trick of using slash claw on gutsman. I always see players using the super adapter instead.
S. Adapter with super punch, work really good against Bass.
I love Playing Mega Man 7 Rosalina!
Is it me, or do Bass' charge shots look a bit like the Hadouken from X1...?
@DSUYoshi987 Yeah, but they don't one-hit-kill you like the Hadokun.
i bet roahm really has a liking to the shield if it stops pippies lol
I gotta use this strategy. This was one boss that always destroyed me/
@Moremooremore He feigned defeat to get into Light's lab.

Oh, and that Guts Man G fight must've been more luck than actual skill
i dont get it. after beating wily in mm9, the cutscene has blueprints for bass in the background. how is this possible?
1:45 Totally done on purpose. ;)

You can just keep jumping, that way the stage will almost never go dark.
actually, t. bolt is the weakness of all of bass' forms.
@Moremooremore He was pretending...
this looks just like sigma stage 2 in mega man x
GUTS FAIL!!!
this music was about the only thing good with this game
And just what makes you say that?
That's weird because the music in 7 seems underwhelming and forgettable to me compared to the NES games with the classic chip tunes
I disagree
Joe Franlin, J Bird I agree with neither of you. Music is a gem in classic series and I don't think the game is itself bad, there are a lot of creative sections and potential of some ideas is great
