I thought this stage's theme (Turtle's Realm) was a great one. It used the sound hardware's 6-part harmony to its advantage -- I liked the way each instrument/audio channel came in one at a time at the beginning.
@Shadow1798 Notice how none of the stuff I labeled as dull had anything to do with the difficulty. XD The Super Adapter just lets one get the stage out of the way a bit faster. The only room that can be slightly tricky without it is the spring room, otherwise, the rooms are handled almost identically.
@Kbutto424 ...Well then, that explains a lot. XD While it will not make the boss any less tedious, it will at least make it go by faster! (Soo much weapon switching...) Thanks for this tidbit! I should add an annotation mentioning this...
@Aceunown I just love when game makers reference my childhood too :D (not that old, but enjoyed the reruns in the 80's) I still have my Thunderbird 2 here somewhere, it's the coolest toy ever. Cast iron and not plastic.
W-why is there a anthropomorphic Thunderbird 2? It even references it by the fact 2 is on the pods. Another stunning display of skill and memory though.
Watching this 12 years later because I don't understand why I can't get past the fire room. Turns out I NEED to have the adapter with double jump to even do it. And here I wanted to complete the game without the adapter.
How do you beat bass? Seriously, I run from him and jump really high and use the Super adapter and that thing still hits me like an annoying tracking missile you can almost never avoid and why does your super adapter's full charge track enemies? Mine only goes in a straight line and I either get it or I don't which I mostly don't
I like the beginning of the song of this stage. You could throw in a jazz arrangement of this :) Did you know the two first stage of Wily's castle had Beta songs ? However, those songs are quite similar with their featured counterparts. Kbutto424 said what I was about to put concerning the other way to defeat the stage's boss %)
The password i get after defeating guts man in área 1, as well as the one i get when i die in área 2, actually makes me start in área 1 of the castle! Can Someone give me a hand, do i have a defective SNES copy or something?
Did you know that you can use the danger wrap to completely destroy this boss? You wait for him to spawn the little turtles, capture one, and then fling it into his head for a lot of damage iirc. I always did that instead of the coil
The music was the only good part about this stage. The stage and boss itself was hell, and so were the one's after it from here. This brings back bad memories.
@Megaquint2 the demon thing would remind me ALOT like the gutsdozer battle, only airborn as your running. either way its definitly one of the two i just hope they use Wily 1 theme
It should have been longer.But that song is amazing.I love songs like this and Metallic Madness in Sonic CD.Dark aerie,endgame,creepy. I have to say the turtle boss I always liked,it it kinda sucks.If it had some more time vulnerable it would be nice
Use the *BUBBLE WRAP* to kill it, by wrapping up the little turtles first. Does crazy damage, but is hard to pull off.
I really liked the theme to this stage.
Is your profile picture Samus tongue kissing Pikachu?!

I like it because it really does sound like a Turtle place. Slow and plodding.

At least a turtle boss has an excuse for being a slow fight :P
@PinkKittyRose
No problem, I'm glad that I could be of some help!
Awesome gameplay, awesome Fortress theme!
i actually enjoy the 2nd fortress theme. its so dark.
It have that Michael Jackson sound to it
HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE GREATNESS THAT IS WILY STAGE 2
IS LIKE MY 4TH FAVORITE MEGA MAN SONG
DA DA DA DA DAA DA DA DA DA DAA DAD ADA DA
I prefer to danger wrap the turtles, then go back to wild coil. Nice job though. Hitting the boss with a wrapped turtle can be a nuisance anyway.
@Kbutto424 ...Well then, that explains a lot. XD While it will not make the boss any less tedious, it will at least make it go by faster! (Soo much weapon switching...) Thanks for this tidbit! I should add an annotation mentioning this...

Arle: "Ha!", "Fireball!", "Ice Storm!", "Attack!", "Mind Blast!", "JUDGEMENT!", "Bayoen!"
W-why is there a anthropomorphic Thunderbird 2?
It even references it by the fact 2 is on the pods.
Another stunning display of skill and memory though.
You do so well in the mega man series! :D
Fwah forgetting about the Hyper Adapter makes the Bass boss ridiculous... I need more bolts.
YOU ARE A MEGA-PRO!
@Misfile17 yeah lol, it says 2 on the little detachable bit above the door too :D
For some reason my hand attack doesn't go as far as yours does...
Watching this 12 years later because I don't understand why I can't get past the fire room. Turns out I NEED to have the adapter with double jump to even do it. And here I wanted to complete the game without the adapter.
@CountryAngel100 Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.
"Well gee golly, if I use an item that trivializes platforming, a stage based around platforming will be boring!"

"THILLERRR, THRILLER NIGHT~" *bass track*
I like the beginning of the song of this stage. You could throw in a jazz arrangement of this :)

Kbutto424 said what I was about to put concerning the other way to defeat the stage's boss %)
Gamerizer looks like a cross between Kor the thunderzord and thunderbird 2
Yeah, getting through the fire spout area is a real chore without the suit... for real
bass looks ridiculous using his treble super adapter.
The password i get after defeating guts man in área 1, as well as the one i get when i die in área 2, actually makes me start in área 1 of the castle! Can Someone give me a hand, do i have a defective SNES copy or something?

you know, you could use danger wrap on the last turtle that comes out of the shell base and knock it to the big turtle for alot of damage
2:35-2:40
hey thats odd the buster shots are uneven. IT looks like the yamato spear o.o
The music was the only good part about this stage. The stage and boss itself was hell, and so were the one's after it from here. This brings back bad memories.
I found the boss pretty easy yet pretty fun
And I think wily stage 3 is good
@@theminebloxcraft5779 You do you, I guess.
@Megaquint2
the demon thing would remind me ALOT like the gutsdozer battle, only airborn as your running. either way its definitly one of the two
i just hope they use Wily 1 theme
The music says Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the boss says Gamera.
@Kbutto424 I've never been able to pull this off. :(
@wwlinkisbest
because she like this kind of commentary so much ;) read the homepage *g*
This is a very tough stage. I use the e item twice in this game.
1:35 ADAPTOR FIGHT
Dude even with this pattern Bass decides to rush in on me, I can't beat him without an E Tank. The second half of this game blows for real.
how did you get that homing fist ??
@UsaSatsui
I might try to record a video of me doing that technique and post it for you!
Dr. Wily has an unnatural obsession with turtles.
And, while I'm on the subject, Gutsman.
any1 else have a feeling that turtle MIGHT be the single mode boss in MM8BDM? he seems tedious enough to be one
I LIKE TURTLES
I actually like this music, it have that Michael Jackson Thriller to it
@RenzokukenLionheart to put it lightly...
Epic finisher
@Kbutto424 I would like to see that, actually.
I could have sworn that I saw Zero in the thumb nail at first. XD
BASS AGAIN?
It should have been longer.But that song is amazing.I love songs like this and Metallic Madness in Sonic CD.Dark aerie,endgame,creepy.
I have to say the turtle boss I always liked,it it kinda sucks.If it had some more time vulnerable it would be nice
I have no idea why I can't defeat Super Bass with no damage. I've beaten him so many times! Nice job, though
Which weapon is best for beating Protoman?
El sonido es muy similar a thiller
Vile vs Bass who do you think would win
vile
this is sorta like MM2 Guts-Man got redone and became a boss
I thought the turtle boss was fun
the second battle with bass is easier than the first
Fr
Turtle boss should have been weak to ice :P
Wdym gamerizer or whatever his name is is a fun boss
I still like Turtlebird 2.
wiley stage 3 megaman 7
Heh, cherry tapping at the end.
LOL the music is so horrible that even she can't make it with the buster 2:41
I actually enjoyed the music it sounded like Micheal Jackson's Thriller theme
Its so easy with that equip its boring.
How do you “guide” the fist here? My charged up fist goes straight 🥲
