i needed this because my alternator on my mk3 just got fried after a shoddy worksman tried to fit a battery that wasn’t meant for my car. it didn’t help that he also connected the terminals back to front too. just lucky that the alternator was all that got harmed and not the whole electrics🤦♂️
hello do you know what is used for those 2 pins on the alternator 1 is field excitation for what is the other used for is it bound to the ecu or rpm gage?

Bit of a long shot anyone will see this but is there a way to know how tight the belts need to be?
