My favorite gender of MP scaled transformers are the ones upscaled from 3p legends figures, especially Magic Square. They're pretty rare, but Magic Square is the absolute king of clean alt modes, clean articulated bot modes, and an intuitive and not overly complex transformation. The clever transformation are a requirement for such a tiny scale, but it also helps to make them incredibly enjoyable to transform at a scale as large as MP. Hey Jobby, you should sell this older one and get the new 2023 version of Light of Peace. It is fully painted in a darker red, the plastic feels thicker, and it has diecast joints so that it no longer feels light. The smokestacks and hand axe are tight, not loose anymore. Major upgrades all around.
@@space_racc probably because it would be cheaper to produce since the insides of the wheels are all the same instead of various joints and so they can still claim there's diecast plus the wheels are quite distributed

Honestly been waiting for this to get reviewed for a while! Jobby's standards of Optimus Prime figures feels very solid and his humor is always a great way to wake up in the morning!

This is the only one with a flat tail section and a show accurate truck overall, on top of that the engineering of the transformation is surprisingly smart. I’d honestly get this if I had the money, looks far better than any other G1 Optimus I’ve seen Jobby review.
As someone who owns the legends version of this, all I can say is that I love the thing. A few things are different, like the feet, the ears, and the matrix not falling out every time you transform it. However the legends version comes a trailer, the usual gun/energon axe, roller, replaceable hands to hold the accessories, and also the bits so you can recreate that time Starscream disguised as Optimus for some reason All of this for roughly ~80-90 USD, so if you don't mind legends scale figures, it's a very high recommendation
