Bought my A1 Mini right before this sale popped up. Got $50 back on it, now when I get another paycheck under me I'll order the AMS. Thankfully the sale makes my out of pocket cost the same as the A1 Mini Combo at the current sale, so no loss from ordering early.
I was just planning on getting a P1S, so this is fantastic timing.
Meant to be.
Maybe I'm wrong but there are other things in the x1C (apart from the screen) to compare the P1S : X1C has a steel nosel for printing abrasive material, a filter, and a better camera in it. Is it worth the delta price is up to you of course. :)
Yeah these are some of the other differentiating features. I just think they are quite negligible.
Nozzle will have to be replaced at some point anyways and they only offer the hardened steel version for 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 so you will have the same capability.
P1S does have the filter so no difference there.
The only real differences are:
Lidar, which is debatable if it's doing anything
Touch Screen, which is nice to have but can live without
Better Camera, nice for timelapse but you can still monitor your prints with the lower resolution camera
@@3DPrintStuff You're right ! I forgot the lidar. We don't know if it actually works.
I literally submitted a ticket asking if there are credits available for recent purchases and then I see your video lol. Thanks for pointing out where to go for the refund application.
Yeah I wanted to put that right at the beginning so that as many people as possible can go get the rebate.
Missed the rebate because of just 7 days.... such is my luck! :(
Same, my X1C Combo etc got delivered on the 13th May also, the rebate on that order would have gotten me a free mini 🤦
What about the places where Bamboo Lab doesn't sell directly? I'm from India, and here we have to purchase through resellers instead of buying directly from the website. Are resellers obligated to offer such discounts, or will Bamboo Lab assist with this?
Sorry I don't know how they're handling that. I believe the sale is only directly through their website.
Hi
Hi
I use the touch panel on the X1C very regular - is it worth the 700,- € price difference? Clearly not.
Yes, of course the X1C has several additional features (Lidar, Carbon tubes, etc.) but if you break it down to print quality, speed and ease of use the difference is not that big anymore.
Its about printing other material etc. etc. Etc clearly you dont have any knowledge about the different Printers
Carbon Tubes? The P1 Series also has the Carbon Rods
@@MH-kc5jr you are right, I mixed up this with the carbon filter that is of course optional available for the P1 series. Well that underline my point - is the 700,-€ price difference worth it?
@@yolo6741 for most people: no
I just added a touchscreen to my P1s. It was a 20 euro upgrade.
Certainly a waste of time looking for pla, they're out of stock when there's no 'sale' on so expect the same or worse.
PETG? there are 'bulk buy offers of £13.99 each for a 1kg - if you buy between 4 and 7 rolls
Buy 8 or more and it's £1 less @ £12.99.
Depending if the product you need is in stock.
At those prices four rolls will qualify for free shipping.
The stock levels have been poor for a year or more, making sale offers something of a farce.
FWIW I bought 6 x 1kg rolls of Sunlu PETG for £56.94 delivered in three days - that a good example of what a bulk buy price should be (£9.49 a 1Kg roll)
C'mon Bambu Lab! I'd like to keep supporting you but right now you're taking your customers for granted.
