I had the Jumbo at one time too Tim but I moved along from it to several backpack style bags over the years. I do miss this style of bag and the Mobious is pretty cool. Thanks Brother!
I’ve been a big fan of the sling bags, and carry one daily on my morning hike. If I’m on the bike I go with the Hill People Gear chest pack, very convenient. Great comparison Tim, thanks for the video. Be well my friend.
I'd had Jumbo, but stopped using it when I bought Mobius 2, then at some point I purchased Maxpedition Lochspyr. Now I use more Lochspyr than Mobius, both are really good bags, but I think Lochspyr suits better in an urban environment.
@Gear Review Depot it's the new maxpedition line of less tactical looking bags, they essentially did a "grey man" version of all of their most popular bags, personally I think they all look weird, but to each their own
Watched a lot of vids . I got the Jumbo because it holds a 32oz Nalgene bottle perfect and flat on the bottom . It’ll be for a Disney trip ….and remember the more stuff you put in the heavier it will be ….
@@anthonyrampino7734 Possibly. I’ll see what I can do. I do know they have some new products coming out this Spring. I’ll see if I can get my hands on the 26.
@@GearReviewDepot it stays in the car these days. Because it can actually carry so much I tend to over fill it for edc, you know if it has a pocket fill it : ) ends up being heavier than me 😆
I've been carrying a Maxped Fatty as an admin pouch in my EDC briefcase for years. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've heard someone say they walked away from their stuff. Was there some sort of controversial business practice?
I really can’t speak for others but there’s been a few reasons, several which wouldn’t be kind to mention here. What I can mention is that even though their gear is pretty nice, made well; but there are other younger brands using much better quality materials and craftsmanship. I prefer the Cordura that Vanquest uses and the nylon 5.11 Tactical makes their gear with. Maxpedition uses a much stiffer nylon. Even though it’s never happened to me, but it always felt like it’ll crack when using it during the winter.
Excellent review, I agree on Vanquest preference over Maxpedition, both great packs, but Vanquest is always updating their bags, and they get allot of input from their customers.
I do change my EDC preferences allot, I also carry allot of other bags by different companies, depending on where and how I travel…, but it’s all good. Cheers brother…

I have seen so many products messed-up, when they were previously great; so not changing a really good product truly has its merits.
I concur. Thank you for stopping by.
I am so impressed with my maxpedition Pygmy falcon backpack after 10 plus years of daily use I just ordered the jumbo Versipack.
Great comparison between each bag brother 🌲🍃
Thank you brother Gil.

Lochspyr? Can’t say I’m familiar with it… checking it out now. Thank you for taking the time to watch.

I still have the Mobius V1 that I believe I purchased from you.
That’s very possible. 🤷🏻♂️
Can the vpacker be worn around the waist I need something for working around power lines and tress
Sorry my friend, it can’t.
Maybe look at the Vanquest dendrite, depends hiw much space you need

Great video! Is it possible for you to do a comparison between the vanquest ibex 26 and the Eberlestock switchblade pack?
Very unlikely my friend. Sorry.
@@GearReviewDepot that’s ok. Have you ever used the ibex 26 for edc?
@@anthonyrampino7734 I haven’t reviewed any Eberlestock gear but I have reviewed the Vanquest Ibex 20, 30 and 35.
@@GearReviewDepot do you think that you’ll be doing a review on the ibex 26?

The mobius has been my car bag (passenger seat) for 6 or 7 years and I use the smaller Tolcat for dog walking :)
That’s a great combination and use of both bags. Is the car bag your EDC bag? Or just stays in the car?

@GearReviewDepot Thanks for the insight! I'm hoping someone chimes in with those reasons that which cannot be mentioned. 😄
Anyone would be well-served by either bag. Mobius has a bit more, but it costs significantly more.
