i used to have reoccurring nightmares as a kid about alligators and crocodiles not actually being native to our world and would invade ours since in my dreamscape these reptiles were bipedal and intelligent, even worst the ability to speak our language making it easy to attack us via a portal they made to take over the world. it was a total apocalypse. i would have to fight my way through as my friends and family were slaughtered, sometimes I’d win, but at what cost. more often, i’d lose, succumbing to the reptile hordes. this game reminded me of that.
