    I'm using in-ears out of my UA Apollo and they sound a little crispy. Is this the function to adjust that a bit?

    I have a question when making a profile - I see that there is a cab on and cab off function - if you capture the profile of for example A 5153 amp head through a Mesa cab - how do you take the cab sim off if it's been profiled as a whole? I want to run the kemper 5153 profile through a real cab live but not sure if I could take the Mesa cab in the recorded profile off - wouldn't want to run the profiles cab into another cabinet live

      The purist way to go about this is by using a Merged Profile, which is a deluxe type of profile created in two passes, one with a cabinet and one without. This gives the Kemper perfect knowledge of the contribution the cabinet makes to the sound. Ordinary non-merged profiles still allow you to (virtually) remove the cabinet, and while it's a simulation it's quite good. Cabinets can be disabled separately at both the monitor and main outs.

    Be sure to adjust the Space parameter accordingly depending on the amount of space between your ears.

    i just want to know how to run a FRFR with a guitar cabinet to my kemper at the same time. Except i want the cab simulation off for the guitar cabinet and i want it ON for the FRFR speaker.

    can you run a cab to direct ous and a non cab output to a speaker if your kemper has built in power?

    I actually thought it sounded better with it off

    Why is Pure Cabinet available in BOTH the output section menu AND in the individual cabinet menus for each rig?? I’m totally confused which one to use and are they interactive with each other...🤷🏻‍♂️

      Read the manual?^^
      One is global, the other is not.

      @@dummbobqqqqq oh. Thx. And thanks a bunch for being so kind in your response...really helped.😐

      @@tomulator Well, isn't reading the manual kinda obvious. They even say that in the video that it's global :,D
      You can btw search with ctrl+f for Keywords when going through the pdf.

      @@dummbobqqqqq my question is deeper than just that. Aren’t they redundant and are they interactive...that was the crux of it oh perfect one.

    • @dummbobqqqqq
      @dummbobqqqqq 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they are not redundant, since some individual rigs/profiles might require more of that compressing effect you get with pure cabinet. And since the higher value is what the kemper is using for the current profile, you could for example put the global setting on 3. ("Pure cabinet" in the cabinet section put off of course) If you like the sound in general, but use for a very harsh rig a higher value, like 7 or 8 for a specific rig/profile.
      How do you monitore your kemper?

    Can you explain the reason why a user would want the pure cabinet function set to off?

    • @celticgibson
      @celticgibson 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you use a real cab and power amp, you would want all the cab stuff switched off.

    • @nimrodkalif3788
      @nimrodkalif3788 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You need to go to the output section and turn monitor cab off. This way, when you use a cab with the Kemper the cab sims are off, and when you're using monitors, they're on. (don't turn the cab sim off with monitors or frfr speakers, it will sound like a line 6 spider on insane with max gain and no mids, aka dog shit.)

      Ste-V thx got it awhile back. Appreciate your help.

    • @dneuens

      Because it hides the characteristics of the mic and gives profiles a "sameness".

    • @Dimiguitar
      @Dimiguitar 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never found a reason to USE pure cab. Only for badly miced profiles. But at that point I'd rather use a more suitable profile anyway.

    No one has made a definitive guide to reamping with the kemper. LIKE TURNING UP THE DIRECT SIGNAL ONLY........ spdf out in stereo....... AND mono out for re-amping. Now.... that dir out is WEAK.... I want to boost it. And eh I am using EMG pups
