This is really gutting. I bought a restored 900 Carlsson from 2Stroke and they did a fantastic job. Louis was really instrumental in getting that project over the line, and I’m so appreciative of him and the rest of the team!
I had a long chat with Michael when my 9-3 was in for its service a month or so ago and he told me the news and explained the reasons why. So sad to lose such a great SAAB specialist who always did a great job at a reasonable price. I never had any problems with them in the eleven years that I have been going to them with my 9-3 and would always recommend them to others. I wish Michael and all the remaining staff the best of luck for the future, wherever it takes them. Great video as always and already looking forward to the next one.
I’m sure Michael will be reading these kind comments. He knows how valued his customers are, and the many lives he has changed. I’m Sure he will be touched by your comment here.
On my 4th Saab sort of I've currently got a Caddy BLS 2.0T. 1st a 900 Turbo SE convertible which my late mum bought brand new. Followed by an 05 9-3 convertible vector followed by a 57 plate 9-3 Sportwagon vector CDTi. I have heard of Michael's business & if I didn't live in Leeds probably would have used him. Probably my Cadillac will be my last Saab sadly.
@@SaabStoriesWhat your a Saab fan &; you didn't know a Cadillac BLS was a Saab 9-3 it was even designed by Saab & built at Trollhatten , infact to be truthful it's more a Saab than both my convertibles I owned as they were made by Valmet who are just a contract car builder. The reason I bought a BLS was just to be different & as they are rarer they hold their value better than the equivalent 9-3.
This is such a huge loss to the saab community - we had been wanting to get my 900 turbo booked in for some major work again - they've helped us out SO much before, and gone above and beyond time and time again. There's nowhere that can compare to what they did.
Great episode and nice editing. Truly a bittersweet story though... &( That's such a shame that Two Stroke to turbo is closing down as I have been meaning to take my car to them to check on a couple of issues... :( Any ideas as to who I should go to now in the Cambridgeshire area?
@@waicheung101 Thankyou for watching ! We also missed the boat to have our 93 looked at by them, though I know from this episode that it would have been in exceptionally safe hands. As for Cambridgeshire there’s Buckingham Stanley in cambridge itself that could be worth a look, but I also highly recommend talking to the saab community as many owners do their own servicing and repairs. Good luck and thanks for checking out our channel! Do be sure to like and subscribe to check out our future episodes !
Nearly 1000 views in just ONE day?! You guys…! Thank you each and every one of you for your support. We do this for you all.

@@keefensera2004 thank you my dear friend! Working on something really special for the next one!
A sad loss to us all. I have had 4 of the best cars I've ever owned from Michael . All the best to you for the future Mickey. Lee Rogers.

@@jeremywentworth1833 well you’ve certainly had enough to be a true Saab fan regardless what else you own!
My BLS is as much as Saab as my 1st 900 which I'm sure you know.
@ I didn’t but now I do thanks :).

@ we learn as we go! Only been a saab owner for a year, so I learn from every person we speak to. Thanks for the info !
Old Finnish proverb: There is only one Car. Thou shall not call other motor vehicles "Car".

So sad 😭 How will the Saab comnunity survive without Saab workshops so sad 😭 Great video ❤
What real shame😢 they will be surely missed.
Absolutely, an incredible team the saab world will massively miss.
Even though you’re in England (and I’m not) every Saab shop that turns out the lights makes me sad… Very sad…
When are they actually closing down?
@@alterfart within the next two weeks, whilst they finish the last resto job and sell off the remaining equipment I believe.
Sad news that you you are stopping, we’ll miss you 😢
Deeply sad. Glad I got to chat with them, even if it was at the end of their story.

@SaabStories I haven't had great experiences with Buckingham Stanley so even though they are local to me if rather go elsewhere...
@ I haven’t used them personally. Why not ask the community?
Sad. Well presented.
Hah, one of my comments at the end there! ❤❤❤
Glad you spotted that!
Big loss for the community. My two 900s were going to be visiting them
