Hickok illustrates so well how shooting is actually a mental exercise. I think a lot of non-shooters/new shooters don't understand that. Sight picture, steadiness, clean break, no pulling the gun off target. It takes focus and discipline to do these things consistently.

Having carried/used the Browning Hi-Power in the army (UK) I bought a CZ75 in 1978 ( the original version) and found it superb, never a malfunction with ball or JHP and very accurate/ consistent.
All i have left is one empty magazine as i had to sell the gun in 1997 when all private pistol ownership was banned in the UK.I miss it. My comment on that is **&^%$**.
A great gun, i'm sure in the US it would be great with 147gr HST +P.

I think the CZ platform is indeed the best overall 9mm platform there is. The P226 has to be considered, of course.
I have the Jericho 941 Desert Eagle in 9mm that's based on the CZ platform and with the weight, low bore axis and inherent accuracy you can shoot quarters at 25 yards with it.
If there is a downside, the lower profile slide can be harder to get ahold of, especially on the Desert Eagle with the Trapezoidal shape.

I have tried many different bullet weights for my CZ 75, fram 100 to 147 grains, but my CZ 75 seems to be best balanced for the 115 grain.
Most facory ammo with 115 grain bullets hit where I put the top of the front sight, making it easy to hit various targets from beer cans to falling plates of different shapes, I do not have to aim low or high, just straight in the middle.

Whatever you want to call them, they are great. I thought I had a defective magazine for my "Para Ordnance 14.45 limited 1911" when I couldn't get the 14th cartridge in by hand. I'm not a weak guy by any means, even had a couple friends try their luck with it. After I contacted Para, they sent me a loader for free noting that the last round is notoriously hard to insert by hand. Now with the loader, the 14th round goes in as easy as the first and loads the mags in half the time.

That doesn't happen - or at least it shouldn't. Instead, as soon as he inserts the magazine with his left hand, he releases the slide stop with the thumb of his right hand... OR... he dropped the first magazine with a round already chambered, inserted a new magazine, but then fired the round that was in the chamber previously.

Hickok45, a great episode would be comparing the CZ 75 B vs. Browning Hi Power (or the awesome Springfield SA-35 Hi Power) and discussing which one you’d carry if you could only choose between the two.

I personally dont know anyone that cant shoot like he does. I pity anyone that gets in a gun fight with Hickok.
I have a CZ-83 .380 and love it . I might seriously consider this 9mm since they are so similar.

I got the ambidextrous CZ85B a little over a year ago and absolutely love it. It's a great shooter and not much talked about which was even more appealing to me. I like less popular guns because it seems EVERYONE at the range has a Glock. I like to be different. A similar gun is Magnum Research's "Baby Eagle" which I also have. Both are great.

Thank you for all you do, Hickok45. Your videos and commentary are interesting. You do a very good job choosing words to tech new people, and also address issues antigunners would bring up.You do a good job of representing law-abiding gun owners. Keep up the good work. One suggestion though: sometimes the audio is quiet when hickock walks away. I suggest a mic on hickok.

"Lost" my 92FS due to a trusted Mo-Fo. So...Purchased the CZ 75B 9mm, It was love at first grip-fire. Actually I was going to loose my $250 Deposit on a H&R Girand in 308 that would have been $1200. Had to scale back and remembered firing the CZ 75 that another Friend of mine has. I believe it's all good...Next! Find Da 92FS with the assistance of the CZ!

hauzparty I own THE RAMI 9mm . It's an awesome little gun. Perfect for range time or carry. My first gun and I know I'll have it for life. Ridiculously accurate and easy to shoot. If you don't live in Kommifornia, go for the decocker version with night sights.

It's the same gun as this for all intents and purposes. The Baby Eagle (Jericho 941) is based on the CZ75 and is built from parts manufactured by Tanfoglio, who make probably the best known CZ75 clones, the TZ75 and the EAA Witness. The specs and performance of all four firearms are pretty much identical.

I have been sitting the fence between a CZ-75 and a Beretta 92 for awhile now. You really helped me make my decision. CZ-75 all the way! Now I just need to finish grad school so I can actually afford one. Thanks for the great videos and the honest assessments. I also appreciate how you keep the political commentary to a minimum and focus on the firearms. Take care.
