The Bible when you open it, it doesn't mean that it's like a magic book or something extraordinary, like it's not alive but the words in it are alive, The words are alive and we can walk and live by them ✝️
Exactly. We don’t worship the Bible but the words in it are truth and Jesus said he is the water that always provides. Whenever I read scripture, I feel better every time. I never feel worse or regret reading the word of God. I also learn something new sometimes even after reading the same book 100 times
@mirandahotspring4019 Wow. If you can't see all the good God amd Jesus do in the world, all who explain their beliefs and experiences with God, I feel sorry for you. Let me ask you, how did you come to that conclusion?
I have seen many people accept Jesus on their death bed , God does not give up on anyone until their last breath is over. So we will be surprised who is in heaven and who is not. Ultimatly it is our own choice
@LandonAshworthDirects its a gambling situation . It is a personal choice. Accept Jesus or not. Accept eternal life or death in hell, live in the light or live in the darkness.
It's conceivable that some individuals may have visions of Jesus as they approach death, but there are those who may not. What if their upbringing in a particular culture led to a different theological understanding? Or what if they did not align with a specific Christian denomination? Let's not forget that according to fundamentalist Christians, all other Christian denominations are counterfeit and heretical, which basically means that if the fundamentalists are right, the vast majority of practising Christians will also be going to hell.
@katiecugini979 that is correct as far as i believe . But I know of many people who have come to Jesus in their last hours. God is merciful but once we die our spirit leave our body that is the end. The bible says for those who have chosen Christ about the spirit within us, absent from the boby present with the Lord.
Many people misunderstand Christianity-or belief in Christ-as something that restricts your life. They think it limits your ability to make money, have fun, or form relationships, as if faith ties a weight to your feet and drags you down. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Belief in Christ doesn’t restrict you-it frees you. It opens your heart and mind to a deeper understanding of who you are and what life is truly about. It’s not about rules or limitations. It’s about realizing that you’re more than just a body. You’re a soul, created by God, with eternal value and purpose. God planted morality in all of us. So, it’s not just about needing God to be moral-it’s about understanding that He is real, He exists, and He cares about you. Christianity reveals the truth that your life isn’t just temporary. The people you’ve loved and lost-those who shared your faith in Christ-are waiting for you in eternity. Faith is the promise of reunion, of eternal existence with those you’ve cherished. It’s the assurance that death is not the end. The idea that Christianity will wreck your life or take away your freedom is short-sighted. In reality, it’s the opposite. Faith opens you up to something bigger, something eternal. It gives you hope, purpose, and a connection to the God who loves you more than you can imagine. Believing in Christ isn’t about losing anything-it’s about gaining everything. It’s about knowing that you’re not alone, that God is with you, and that you’ll see your loved ones again. That hope changes everything.
Religions have been a scam ever since we started agriculture and moved away from the big titted earth mother religions to the vengeful storm dad religions. This hope you keep talking about is just there so the slaves don't unalive themselves while working their lives away to enrich their "divinely appointed" rulers. The idea of an afterlife just exists to cheapen the one you have now which is your one and only precious life. We know now that the stuff you see before you die is a hallucination from the DMT our body produces near death.

The issue non-believers have with God is that it's effectively an agent that interacts with humans and whom we are supposed to consider good. If God caused a hurricane to wipe clean your home with all of your memories, pets and family members, how would you feel about him then? Was that a good thing he did, or will you try and spin it as either your punishment, their punishment, restoring some kind of balance, etc... As a non-believer, I think that hurricanes are caused by deterministic particle collisions that don't discriminate who they destroy. People were simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. It's pure probability.
My friend, who's now an elder at our church, was like this kid. As a late teen, he had questions, and no one at his church had answers. Sure, maybe churchy cliché worded answers, but not real world answers. He left and got muxed up in drugs. He came to a point where he realized he had a problem. He will definetively find jesus christ one day. I myself had a lot of questions like this. This christmas I am completing my conversion to catholic faith. God bless you all, I pray more people will get the call and truly listen.
I'm really glad to hear that you are turning to faith, but I feel convicted to tell you why I am protestant instead of catholic. Ultimately the biggest thing I can recommend is reading the Bible for yourself because it has several large contradictions with the catholic faith. The two that come to mind at the moment are papal infallibility which is unbiblical since Paul rebuked Peter for his actions in Galatians 2:11-21. Second is the baptism of infants which is never actually spoken of in the Bible. However, the verse often cited is Mark 16:15 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." It's important to note here that it is the lack of faith that will condemn sinners, and that the emphasis on baptism is connected to belief. Whenever people are baptized in the New Testament, it is a conscious choice that happens after they have already put their faith in Jesus Christ as the son of God who came to Earth in human form, lived a perfect sinless life and died for our sins, uniting Jews and Gentiles in the way to salvation.
@Press_goal in the Bible infants was baptized I toddler was baptized. You just didn't pay attention and I'm Orthodox you missing something. I think there is something you don't understand in the Bible

Right and the philosophy of Thomas H Huxley said!="Time who's tooth that gnaws away everything else is powerless against truth." Even if Gandhi was not a Christian, as Christians, we cannot be certain of whether he is in heaven or hell, nor can we fully comprehend the intricacies of God’s justice, judgment, and fairness. Growing up in a Christian society, especially with Christian parents, naturally provides far more opportunities to learn about and accept Jesus compared to someone raised in a completely different environment. We also don’t know what was happening in Gandhi’s heart before he died or how God’s precise judgment operates to ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to encounter Jesus-whether during their lifetime or after death. These are mysteries beyond our understanding that need to make us christian very humble to how we approach this question
Hell is a spiritual dimension-intangible and immeasurable, existing beyond the confines of time and space. It is not a physical place or a prison created by God but rather the natural consequence of choosing separation from Him. In essence, it is the absence of eternal love. This separation is the punishment, not because it is imposed but because it aligns with the deliberate choice to reject God. Free will allows for this decision, and its logical result is an existence devoid of love. In such a state, the consciousness remains intact, experiencing an eternity without God. Imagine this: a consciousness cut off from the source of love, existing in a dimension where time ceases to flow. The result is a profound form of spiritual pain-a perpetual awareness of what is missing. Reflect deeply on this: what would your consciousness endure after being severed from love for what feels like eons?
I don’t get how hell isn’t imposed by god since god created all things. AND god being all powerful he can decide to change the laws of the universe to not send people to hell. I don’t understand how people’s rejection of god somehow makes it so that god isn’t still powerful enough to change the rules
@@jncar1 because with infinite power comes infinite responsibility (Took a reference from the spider man movies here ) But the point is if god is all powerful then he can do whatever he wants right? But that in of itself is kind of a problem if god can just create me and take my will away and just make me follow him that doesn't speak love to me does it ? That's possession not love so for god to love me he needs to give me free will to either accept him or deny and since he is all powerful he needed to put some sort of rules that he himself abides by and won't just dismiss to take everyone with him if he did that then he wouldn't love them
@@stevs4696 why did he “need to put some sort of rules” in there about hell? That has nothing to do with free will. You can have free will without sending people to hell. How is this any different from what god does?
People are already condemned and on their way to eternal punishment. That is their default destination. However, when they kneel a d repent and have received forgiveness and cleansing, they are saved, forgiveness, and cleansed. They are no longer condemned.
I may be able to answer the question the young man at 5:25 had about why God didn't denounce slavery in the Ten Commandments. It doesn't fully answer why, but it might give some context. Slavery is bad, simply put. However, back then it wasn't always based on finding a group of people you didn't like and enslaving them for their entire lives based on hatred towards them. Don't get me wrong a lot of the times it was, that's very present. A lot of the time when you find examples of slavery back then it was not so much enslavement, but servitude. If you had debts to pay that you could not pay, you were enslaved. There were no banks or government to bail you out of bankruptcy, you had to pay back what you owed with your time and effort.
A very simple answer to his question "how can I believe anything you're saying?". "That's the hard part about life, you have to think about it and figure it out for yourself. You have to make your own decisions"
The work in Heaven is not for everybody else, but for yourself, Christ and God. The work we will do we will get to enjoy (Houses we build we will live in, food we grow we will get to eat, etc.)
The most simple answer is god gave us the gift of free will. And despite giving us the free gift of salvation but still choose to not spend eternity with him he will not force us to do so.
@@koozizzelNo. You can do anything you want but you will go to hell if you don't obey him. You have free will God isn't forcing you to do anything but if you don't want to go to hell you should obey his law.
The existence of the divine plan destroys any possibility of us actually having free will. If god made everything and he knows everything you will ever do before you are even born. Then you don't have free will. You have a script he made that you follow until death and you have to hope that in your script he decided that you would go to heaven.

@@arwoodian1524 actually that is wrong. You make your own decision and everything you do. It is just that he already knows everything thing that you did, is doing and will be doing. Ultimately he all have a plan for us it is you who decide to follow his will or your will.

The point was to demonstrate for Abraham - and everyone else - that God will never require child sacrifice, and that God himself will be the lamb for us.
His honesty is great, he doesn't want eternal life with the only Living God in Heaven. God will never force anyone into Heaven against their will, that isn't Agape Love nor Justice. However, the wages of sin is death, physical and spiritual, the consequence which is ending up in the lake of fire. Every choice has a consequence, good, indifferent or bad. 13:52, I really dislike that when backed into a corner, Cliffe just explains he doesn't know and it's God who ultimately decides. This is something he should definitely know, and in my eyes is a complete copout.
I think what he’s saying is that no one can completely understand another persons life and where their heart is. Only god can understand what a person’s true intentions are. And if they are good, they will be saved.
Nah because how is he supposed to know? At best he can say that if you die without God, then there will only be darkness and a lack of everything good. But to say that, “yeah he would definitely go to hell” is wild.
You can't back anyone into a corner with a question that they can't objectively, honestly answer. The reality is that God is the final judge and the Master of Eternity, Heaven, and the Afterlife. No reason to argue about who's going where. Better to work on our own salvation. What else can we possibly do except give in to Christ in humility and shame at our own sins? Cliff is a warner and if you don't like the warning, don't heed it. Simple as that
When he can answer, it's quoting from the bible, when he can't, God knows. It's God of the gaps in real time. There is no attempt to investigate or understand.
I agree, the correct answer is to say, I don’t know about anyone specifically because Christ moves in ways that I don’t see or understand. But based on scripture, barring any turn to Christ at the end of his life Gandhi is in hell because he chose to be justified by his own righteousness instead of accepting christs righteousness. Isaiah 46:6 says that our own righteousness is seen as dirty rags when compared to the righteousness of Christ.
You can learn the bible backwards and forwards, in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. You can study history and archeology and see that the bible is accurate and historical. And you can go to church every day, pray, feed the poor, and live according to the 10 commandments, but without love in you, you'll be adrift. And the only way to get that love is from Jesus. And the best way to get that love is for a supernatural encounter with Jesus that confirms Him as God and gives His love for you daily and for you to be able to love everyone else too. You don't have to like someone to love them. But you have to live for Jesus to have this. I have Jesus intellectually, but I can't survive without His daily peace and love. And I'm only without it when i have sin to deal with and haven't, or there is a lesson to learn. Which shouldn't take more than a couple hours in my experience. Life can be hard, but Jesus love and peace with His purpose for you is what keeps me going. Jeremiah 33:1-3. Such a true verse. God has answered all my questions about life. His sovereignty. Free will. Sin. Judgement. His discipline. Why people suffer and even die. And many more things. And its not some formula, its the Living God. So which one is correct?
@@roberthoyle1971 I think you need to study the four Gospels. Jesus was and is much more than a prophet, and Jesus wasn't crucified for crimes against Rome. Pilate says in Luke 23: I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him; no, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him. @@roberthoyle1971 The kingdom of God is here. It's only those who repent and believe that see it and recognize it. The Holy Spirit indwells believers. Paul writes that it's Jesus spirit. So as long as believers submit to, repent, and obey Jesus, then they experience Jesus kingdom here on earth as the apostles did. They even called themselves slaves of Jesus even though they were free men. Lest you believe and live as they did, you will not see this kingdom. And do not be fooled, there will be a second coming of Jesus, but first there will be fulfilled that which is written in Revelation.
My child, now grown, once said that he didn't want to go to heaven because there wouldn't be any computer games. If we love earthy things more than God's spiritual world, we either aren't chosen or don't belong in the world God has made for us after we die. I'm looking forward to doing whatever God has planned for me because it will be His will not mine.
We are all chosen to be with God as God calls for everyone, we just choose to either except God or to deny him but if we have a family member or friends who rejected God because they care more about earthly things then we shouldn't give up on them but keep praying for that person and slowly bring up what God says if the person is willing to listen. But if the person chooses to live in sin instead then we are to keep a distance from the person so they would not distract us from God.
"If I already have the morals without believing in God then why believe?" The answer is, so that you don't end up in Hell forever. This life ends very quickly, Jesus made it clear that no one goes to heaven but through faith in him.
That is evil doing of god if he is sending moral people that just dont believe in one specific text to hell forever. It is like lottery. You need to guess correctly that god is there and which one from hundres of possibilies is the right one. That is the most unjust judgement ever.

A young child can't legitimately criticize a parent's instruction - age, wisdom, maturity, and responsibility of the parent over the child all play a factor. God did what was best. He made us, He made the rules - our only choice is whether to accept that and work with it, or to rebel and suffer everything negative in our foolish, feeble attempt to overcome the rules.
Thou shall not enslave your fellow man IS included in GOD’s commandments. (Exodus 21:16) I’m very surprised and saddened that Cliffe didn’t know the answer to this young man’s question.
This one is going to hurt coming from an Atheist, but that's how I know you don't read the bible. You have taken Exodus 21:16 out of the context of the story. And there is a very special place in hell for those who twist the word of god. Oh look at that! Copilot assembled some of the verses for me. I especially like Romans 16:17-18 The Bible has many verses that address misrepresenting the Bible, including: Acts 20:30: Paul warns church elders that some will distort the truth to draw away disciples 1 Corinthians 4:6: Paul urges readers "do not go beyond what is written" 1 Corinthians 15:15-39: People can misrepresent God by testifying that he raised Christ, but he did not 1 Peter 3:10: "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech" Ephesians 5:6: "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient" Zechariah 8:19: "Love truth and peace" Ephesians 4:15: "Speak the truth in love" Proverbs 12:22: Being truthful is precious to God Psalm 15:2; Zechariah 8:16; Ephesians 4:25: Telling the truth is a command John 8:44: Being truthful flies in the face of Satan, the “father of lies” Psalm 31:5: Being truthful honors the Lord, who is the “God of truth” Romans 16:17-18: Deception and dishonesty are sin Exodus 20:16: One of the ten commandments addresses “bearing false witness,” which means lying It's also wrong to quote Bible verses out of context, as this can mislead people into thinking that God said something when He never meant it in that way. Not only that, but the Exodus verse is about not kidnapping, and you can enslave people without kidnapping them. Exodus 21 is very clear on how you can get your debtor servants to become chattel until they die. You might want to go pray for forgiveness. Your eternal soul depends on it.

God is good and that's why he sent his only son Jesus to die for us. God doesn't want us to burn so that's why he sent Jesus to die for us and if he accept Jesus, we won't burn in hell. He'll was for Satan and his angel but because of the Sin we committed, us humans were supposed to go to hell too. But God gave us Jesus so that we would not need to suffer.
I think being betrayed, whipped, humiliated, spat on, and nailed to a cross, suffering immensely while never cursing your enemies (which He was powerful enough to do) in order to cleanse other people's sins would be considered sacrifice for most ppl. He paid for everyone else's crime. It's no wonder He's called a lamb.
Jesus is God in human form. So, Jesus sacrificed his human form on the cross for the world. That was the ultimate purpose for why He came into the world. Amazing grace!
@@Mrsgmuller73 Jesus knew he was God. There was no doubt in his mind that he was going to Heaven when he died. He also knew he was fulfilling prophecy going back thousands of years. So the Romans and the Jews did him a favor. They're lucky Satan didn't show up and convince them all to let him go.
These videos are fascinating to watch! As I grow older I believe in God more but struggle with believing that Christianity is the only way to Heaven (although in my heart I know it to be true).
Popular myth : Hell is an established Biblical doctrine that is in the Bible from start to finish. This is not true. Two thirds of the Bible (the Old Testament) does not mention Hell at all. ("Sheol," the Old Testament word that is sometimes translated as Hell, only means "grave" by definition, and it is where everyone in the Old Testament went when they died--good or evil, Jew or Gentile). Thus the Old Testament does not contain the concept of Hell. Ancient as well as modern Jews do not believe in Hell or the Devil and they pretty much wrote the Old Testament. Think about it... If Hell is real, why didn't God make that warning plain right at the beginning of the Bible? God said the penalty for eating of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was death- -not "eternal life" in fire and brimstone. If Hell is real, why wasn't Cain warned about it, or Sodom and Gomorrah , or any of those who committed the earliest recorded "sins?" If Hell is real why didn't Moses warn about this fate in the Ten Commandments or the Mosaic Covenant consisting of over 600 laws, ordinances, and warnings? The Mosaic Law simply stated blessings and cursings in this lifetime. There is also no biblical support for Hell in the New Testament. www.tentmaker.org/articles/ifhellisreal.htm
Indeed. Even if Hell’s Eternal torture was true and sinners were made immortal by God(since He is the only soul with immortality), then sin would never be destroyed and Yahweh would be a failure, since sin would never be gone(which is a lie from Satan) I agree with your comment. Also the false belief of hell goes against Revelation 21v4,which says”there will be no more pain”,which would make the Holy God a liar if Eternal torture were true.
@@hunterharkins6129 The modern view of Hell sounds exactly like something that someone made up to either bring people into the religion or to KEEP them in line: "THIS is what will happen to you if you don't OBEY!" Like, surely Hell would have been mentioned to Adam and Eve or Cain and Abel at the very beginning if it were a concept that existed when that was written.
@jesusmedrano5233 nobody fears God people live in that realm of Mythology remind me of children writing Santa letters when the people finally realize that the Jews of all people who have no ancient mythology copy everybody else 's mythology and called it theology ,for anyone who believes in an invisible God that created the world should not be able to speak publicly or communicate with the rest of the human race
It's only justifiable for those who have received all good things, then rejected all good things. At that point, they have chosen where they are most comfortable in eternity.
Most people right before Death Beg our father for forgiveness .... Before I was someone trying to learn more I didn't believe at all I've died 3 different times in my life and each time I asked him to forgive me and more time.... The 3rd time I heard something back because the first 2 although he let me stay I didn't get it but now YEAH I GET IT.
The preacher avoided the point that it is immoral for a god to punish someone infinitely for a finite crime. This preacher can’t defend the indefensible.
I don't think you understand what hell is. It was originally created for the demons and fallen angels that rebelled against God. The reason we humans go there is because God isn't going to force us into heaven with Him for eternity against our will. Instead, if we choose to live life separate from Him on earth, He will honor our decision and send us to hell. The reason hell is bad is because it is the furthest you can be from God. He is defined as the source of all good, joy, light, life, etc. So it makes sense that just as cold is the absence of heat, and not a standalone thing on it's own, that hell would just be the absence of God and is why it's so horrible. Now to get more at your point against the finite crime and a infinite punishment. The act of sinning is literally turning from God. That is what Cliff was talking about when he said we experience guilt. We know in our hearts when we have sinned whether you want to admit it or not. Once again, if we don't turn away from our sin and turn toward God by asking for forgiveness, He will not force you to be with Him against your will. You understand that it is God that writes what is moral and immoral because he is the creator right? He is the objective truth, not subjective, so what He says goes. As a non-believer, you are forced into a subjective reality regarding morals. So who are you to say what is morally correct or not? According to moral relativism, nothing is wrong or immoral. There is no such thing because it is defined differently depending on the person.
Sure… but I know this: hell is not a place I want to go to. Yes, it does seem extreme, so what’s up with that? It made me take a closer look at God’s master plan. Did I find an angry, authoritarian, accusing God who is eager to punish sinful people and send them into eternal hellfire? Not at all. In fact, I found the exact opposite. God knew that his gift of free will, as wonderful as it is, would allow us to choose to sin (rejecting God’s way and instead doing things our way) over being pure and righteous. “Our way” means that we are petty, or lustful, or greedy, or unfair, or power hungry, or hedonistic, or disrespectful, or jealous, or envious, or selfish, or dishonest, or hold grudges, or are overly prideful, etc.. But here’s the problem: God can’t just ignore our sins; that is not fair or just. Every sin has a consequence attached to it. And there is no way for us to get rid of our sins: good deeds don’t cancel out bad ones. So, since there is no sin in Heaven, how could we ever be allowed in? God knew this and set it up so that EVERYONE could easily make it into Heaven. How? Simply by putting our faith and trust in him and his plan of salvation. This plan was agreed to by the Son of God (Jesus) who volunteered to temporarily leave his heavenly throne and powers behind and become just a man. Why? So that HE could absorb all the sins of the world and be punished in OUR place. He showed his love for all of us by suffering and dying on the cross to save us from the punishment we rightly deserve. He essentially bought our ticket to Heaven with his blood. He then holds that ticket out to us saying “I love u. I died to save u. Please trust me.” Does it take some humility to accept the fact that we cannot save ourselves? Sure. But why should it be a problem to rely on Almighty God’s grace? Shouldn’t we all feel humble, thankful, and indebted to him? Shouldn’t we feel very special that Jesus loves us that much that he was willing to suffer and die for us? This was God’s plan: to make it so easy for EVERYONE to get to Heaven and live with him. All he asks is for us to be humble and rely on HIM instead of being overly prideful and relying on OUR own RIGHTEOUSNESS. He wants our humility and trust. If we do that… Boom… We are saved! The ticket to Heaven is ours! Pretty cool. We can ALL get to Heaven NOT because of what WE DO but because of what JESUS DID. That is the good news of the gospel of salvation thru Christ. Hell shouldn’t even enter into the discussion. Why would anyone want to REJECT this gift of salvation?
Are you extremely Holy and Righteous and did you tell your creation to love one another? Were you the one who sent Himself down through 42 generations to die for sins you didn’t commit because you never wronged anyone? The answer to that question is no. Now when you become God you can call the shots. How dare the parents of the children do evil in front of their children. How dare those parents teach their children to do evil. How dare those parents set their children up to be in jeopardy of hell. Hell is too good for people who teach their children to do evil in the sight of God, who teach their children not to love God.
@@NickNuxollWe are more moral than the Bible. We understand that slavery and rape is wrong even though the Bible never bans those things. We don’t need a genocidal, jealous (hence imperfect) god to be our poor excuse of a “moral authority”. As a society, we have figured out how to live together well. I don’t hurt or rob you, because I don’t want you to hurt or rob me. We all respect each other because we understand that this is the best way to thrive in society. Those few who don’t live by the golden rule, which precedes Christianity, will be punished by the majority who want to preserve an ordered , civilized society. God was never necessary for men (or ants or bees or ANY creature that survives best working with its neighbors) to figure out how to survive and THRIVE as a community. A solitary caveman had a much higher chance to die compared to the cavemen who formed tribes. Morality (ground rules) within the tribe were soon established. Some idiots then came up with “magical / spiritual” explanations for natural phenomena, and these original theories stick around. Theo means god. The original THEOry is the “god concept”.
When a Christian tells me they get their morals from their God, i have no problem at all with that, as long as they are good morals….But when a Christian tells me that i also get my morals from their God, a God i do not believe in, then we have a problem, or rather THEY have a problem….I know what is good or bad, what is hurtful or caring, what is right or wrong, from living my life, and experiencing how to behave for the wellbeing of everyone. I do NOT need a God to tell me that, and if the best argument they can come up with is to claim that i know right from wrong because their God already put that in me without me knowing, then i despair for them…..I really do….Having your own beliefs is fine, but when you try to force them on others, who have used their own common sense to figure things out, you show your true colours. And they are not admirable at all.
"I know what is good or bad, what is hurtful or caring, what is right or wrong" Exactly. That is very good evidence that God exists. If God did not exist, where did your conscience come from? Its just a result of rewarding survival. If killing your neighbors and stealing all their stuff helps you survive, you conscience would tell you to do that. There would be no objective "good" or "evil" if God does not exist. It would just be personal opinion. The conflict comes because you don't believe there is a God, yet you instinctively know right from wrong. You are stealing the concept of morality from Christianity but then trying to take credit for it yourself.
No one is trying to force anything on you....its just that truth is still truth..no matter if you like it or not. If you think killing or harming someone is wrong, it's because you recognize their God-given value and their right to live. If you think stealing is wrong, then you recognized their God-given right to personal property, work ethic, and human rights. The problem is that you are unwilling to acknowledge it.
@@elkhuntr2816 I would NEVER kill an innocent person just so that i may survive. If a religious person WOULD, then it is to my great relief that i am not religious.
First of all, you're only proving our point by stating that you get your morals from yourself. Going beyond that though, who told you that seeking the "good", whatever that means, of other people is worth pursuing? Why does it matter if you do what you do for their good while someone else does what they do to cause harm? What makes one evil and one good? All you're doing so far is listing your own personal preference. What if you do soemthing for someone that you think is good but is actually harmful in their eyes?
That's exactly why some atheists, like me, would choose hell over worshipping God because that makes him unworthy of worshipping. The very reason that I have no say at all in the only deal that my creator and owner is giving me, is the reason why we don't want God/Heaven.
@sick_ibg712 It doesn't matter what you want. You are a human, you have no power over your life's end. Most events in life you have no effect on either, only a certain amount of influence. This generation thinks it's so smart, it can create its own destiny. Well let me remind you, you are only able to write this comment because you're alive, because you were created by your parents, and their parents, etc, and GOD created man. So before you say you don't owe God anything, I remind you, you owe him your life. And if you'd want to spend time after death without God, then God will send you to hell as you please, since it's what you want.
You are one to bargin, everyone gets their choice of "Whats Next" of what you want to do next in the afterlife, People decide where they wan't to go on depending on their souls polarity, Life isn't about Reward and Punishment, its about the path you are on, you have a choice now in the path, and same in the afterlife, its called Change and Freewill.
@@ashash6866 Where was your free will when it came to choosing your body, mind, and soul? You didn't choose when or where or from whom you come from, and all of those things affect who you are and what decisions you take. Your body, mind, and soul have wants and needs that are out of your control so If you can do what you want, but you can't will what you want, then it's not free will. The afterlife may or may not be true. However, I disagree when religion claims that there's only one way to reach the afterlife. How can something infinite like heaven or God have only one path to reach it? I know that's what the Bible claims, but if the universe is seemingly infinite with trillions of galaxies with billions of stars with a planet with billions of totally unique people, then how can there only be one way to reach something infinite like God? Religion only works if they are the only group that has the correct answer to your salvation. Life is about the path you are on, but you are only along for the ride.

We assume there is no mercy after we die.
It does restrict you from enjoying sin, let’s not cope on behalf of unrepentant sinners. That’s why God gave us commandments not suggestions.

Even hundred years ago there were people who sacrificed humans. And christian missionaries were the ones to stop human sacrifice because God of the bible the creator hates human sacrifice. God freed slaves in egypt. Christians were the ones who fought against slavery because of the God they followed.

Even if Gandhi was not a Christian, as Christians, we cannot be certain of whether he is in heaven or hell, nor can we fully comprehend the intricacies of God’s justice, judgment, and fairness.
A life with Christ in it deepens your life to depths you never knew existed and once in it you never want to be apart.

Truly thank God for Cliffe. I would be SO uneducated without him
Hell is a spiritual dimension-intangible and immeasurable, existing beyond the confines of time and space.
@@jncar1 because with infinite power comes infinite responsibility
(Took a reference from the spider man movies here ) But the point is if god is all powerful then he can do whatever he wants right? But that in of itself is kind of a problem
if god can just create me and take my will away and just make me follow him that doesn't speak love to me does it ? That's possession not love so for god to love me he needs to give me free will to either accept him or deny and since he is all powerful he needed to put some sort of rules that he himself abides by and won't just dismiss to take everyone with him if he did that then he wouldn't love them

People are already condemned and on their way to eternal punishment. That is their default destination.
However, when they kneel a d repent and have received forgiveness and cleansing, they are saved, forgiveness, and cleansed. They are no longer condemned.

"Work is a gift from God" ✔✔✔
The work we will do we will get to enjoy (Houses we build we will live in, food we grow we will get to eat, etc.)
why the hell would we need food to sustain ourselves if we're immortal in heaven? why would we need houses to live in?
We each carry our own cross,
We stay worthy for the promised. Our heart knows our worthiness. Save as many as we can until we're called.
The most simple answer is god gave us the gift of free will. And despite giving us the free gift of salvation but still choose to not spend eternity with him he will not force us to do so.
@burnik3000 God gave us free will? God says live your life by his rules or burn in eternity. Sounds more like duress than free will.
@@koozizzel hell is separation from god. That is your will if you want to be separated from god. Just like for example, if you love someone and you did everything for her to love you back but in the end she just dont love you. You will not force her to love you and let her go because you love her.
@@arwoodian1524 actually that is wrong. You make your own decision and everything you do. It is just that he already knows everything thing that you did, is doing and will be doing. Ultimately he all have a plan for us it is you who decide to follow his will or your will.

I agree, the correct answer is to say, I don’t know about anyone specifically because Christ moves in ways that I don’t see or understand. But based on scripture, barring any turn to Christ at the end of his life Gandhi is in hell because he chose to be justified by his own righteousness instead of accepting christs righteousness. Isaiah 46:6 says that our own righteousness is seen as dirty rags when compared to the righteousness of Christ.
This was excellent! Wow!!

I especially like Romans 16:17-18
The Bible has many verses that address misrepresenting the Bible, including:
Acts 20:30: Paul warns church elders that some will distort the truth to draw away disciples
1 Corinthians 4:6: Paul urges readers "do not go beyond what is written"
1 Corinthians 15:15-39: People can misrepresent God by testifying that he raised Christ, but he did not
1 Peter 3:10: "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech"
Ephesians 5:6: "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient"
Zechariah 8:19: "Love truth and peace"
Ephesians 4:15: "Speak the truth in love"
Proverbs 12:22: Being truthful is precious to God
Psalm 15:2; Zechariah 8:16; Ephesians 4:25: Telling the truth is a command
John 8:44: Being truthful flies in the face of Satan, the “father of lies”
Psalm 31:5: Being truthful honors the Lord, who is the “God of truth”
Romans 16:17-18: Deception and dishonesty are sin
Exodus 20:16: One of the ten commandments addresses “bearing false witness,” which means lying
It's also wrong to quote Bible verses out of context, as this can mislead people into thinking that God said something when He never meant it in that way.
Not only that, but the Exodus verse is about not kidnapping, and you can enslave people without kidnapping them. Exodus 21 is very clear on how you can get your debtor servants to become chattel until they die. You might want to go pray for forgiveness. Your eternal soul depends on it.

Eternal punishment is infinitely cruel. No good God would punish people forever.
Hell you won't be in fire through out , you will seize to exist , the burning won't be for long but the result will be , the qstn is , do you want to live in a glory body in the after life , am not good at explainkng but listen to mark woodman
And He doesn’t 😄
God is good and that's why he sent his only son Jesus to die for us. God doesn't want us to burn so that's why he sent Jesus to die for us and if he accept Jesus, we won't burn in hell. He'll was for Satan and his angel but because of the Sin we committed, us humans were supposed to go to hell too. But God gave us Jesus so that we would not need to suffer.
christians believe that god gives people a choice between heaven and hell, and that's absolutely ridiculous.
God is good ❤
If Jesus Christ is God the where is the sacrifice?
Explain what you mean by where is the sacrifice?
I think being betrayed, whipped, humiliated, spat on, and nailed to a cross, suffering immensely while never cursing your enemies (which He was powerful enough to do) in order to cleanse other people's sins would be considered sacrifice for most ppl. He paid for everyone else's crime. It's no wonder He's called a lamb.
Jesus is God in human form. So, Jesus sacrificed his human form on the cross for the world. That was the ultimate purpose for why He came into the world. Amazing grace!
People think of the physical pain Jesus went through. Think about taking on the entire sin of the world when he was perfectly sinless, that is pain.
If Hell is real, why wasn't Cain warned about it, or Sodom and Gomorrah , or any of those who committed the earliest recorded "sins?"
If Hell is real why didn't Moses warn about this fate in the Ten Commandments or the Mosaic Covenant consisting of over 600 laws, ordinances, and warnings?

Please trust me.”
Does it take some humility to accept the fact that we cannot save ourselves?
The first guy was asking great questions and Cliffe gave great answers. Hope these two students find God one day :)
@@spacecoastz4026 And there lies the problem. I do not believe in God, so i do not recognise ANY moral value as “God given”.
Work is a Gift from God. Amen
How about that an honest student looking for answers, not there to just argue and insult. Looks like he's there to get answers.
The problem with the kid is that he still hasn't realised he is in no position to bargain with God, and impose his own idea of life after death.
