- In today's video, we wanted to show you a fun activity to do in Key West and that is the oldest house in Key West, Florida. It was built for a 1829 and is really cool to check out. The official name of this attraction in Key West is the Oldest House Museum & Gardens in Key West. It is a self guided tour but there is a very nice staff member in the gift shop that tells you all the stories about the oldest house. It was great historical information! Then you basically go on a self-guided tour of the home and the gardens out back. It is a very pretty backyard and the house is also really cool. We can’t even imagine what it was like in 1829. The funny thing about homes that old is the fact that they are not straight. They are a little crooked. The home is located on the famous Duval street in Key West. That old house is pretty cool. That upstairs is always closed. bummer. I loved the captains quarters and the backyard. On your next time down to Key West I hope it's a little warmer. Get out and do some snorkeling. We took a helicopter tour a few years ago down there and that was amazing. I would recommend it for sure. Enjoying your videos. :)
Snorkeling would be great! So would a helicopter tour! We want to make it out to Dry Tortugas sometime too. It will be fun to go back!
As many times as ive been to key west, i can say ive never been there passed by it tons of times. But I'm surprised how big the property is for being key west. I really surprised they didnt build a bar and entertainment area or even a restaurant lol
