- In today's video, we head over to Ocala, Florida to try an outdoor activity. We wanted to see how a drive-in movie would be. Ocala is one place that has a drive-in movie and they also had Jurassic World Dominion playing so we decided to go check it out. It’s a pretty cool experience. However, we would bring a few extra things next time but it is a cheap activity to do in Ocala, FL. Jurassic World Dominion was a pretty good movie from what we saw but we will need to see it again to get the full experience. If you are in Ocala, FL, check out the drive-in movie!

The metal poles are where the speakers used to be - you didn't have to rent them, they were the only way to hear the movie. The speakers hooked onto your car window and the sound was usually awful.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Shortly after you posted this, Village RV moved in right across the street directly from the drive-in and as their multimedia director, it's nice to see this every day I go to work, but it was even cooler to see the open lot before we moved in in the shot of you getting ready to make the right into the drive-in! My wife and I come out any time they are showing something we want to see. The people who run it are the kindest people and really care about their visitors. Hope you guys can make it back out here again sometime!

Love drive-in movies! I cannot believe they have one in Ocala where our son Jeremy & daughter-in-law Jenn live. Can’t wait to visit so we can go to this drive-in! We always go to the Wellfleet Drive-In out on Cape Cod in Wellfleet! We summered out there when kids were small &!went a few times while we rented a house with my parents for two to three weeks each summer! We still go out to Cape Cod ( brought our grandsons) but now we can enjoy a drive-in with our “new” sweet grandson Carter who is two yrs old, Cainin is 20 & Kaylee is 15! How much fun is this!

Love your videos. I was in Ocala last week checking on a house we are building and I drove past this drive in and wondered if it was still operating. Great timing to see this video released. I've got a long list of restaurants for my husband and I to try when we finally move to FL thanks to you guys.

you have to watch Jurassic World Dominion in the theaters sound effects are amazing! drive ins are great for classic movies that you have seen ten or more times, but they are a fun experience. great video always enjoy them 👍

Thanks for the heads up, I would definitely bring a boombox and I believe Lowes and Home Depot have a certain type of bandana that you soak in water and put it around your neck and it gets ice cold and will stay like that for 2-4 hrs…

You two are awesome! with the Dunedin videos you have done recently( where my wife have gone for our winter vacations the past several years) and now this Ocala drive in videos where I used to go when I lived there in the early 80s ,Its like going home to watch your videos!

They have a drive in theater in Franklin Kentucky just over the state line of Tennessee. Been several times the only one I know is still around.

There are probably a lot of people that do that same thing too.
Seeing their really high concession prices, I see why they shame and threaten you for bringing your own food. 8 dollars for a plain cheeseburger and charge even more for a "deluxe"?
Crazy!!!! I Understand their point about were the ticket revenue goes, but with those prices they're almost begging people to sneak their own snacks in !

Aren't you glad that it wasn't presented in converted 3D? Your care was at an angle that would throw it off a bit..If you had brought a batter-operated two-channel stereo FM radio that had speakers you could unhinge and spread farther apart, you would have come close to the theater sound of effects at the drive inn.

Drive ins R amazing 💯💯💯 However I did not enjoy Jurassic world Dominion 😕😕 After the First JW The Rest that followed were Garbage to me!!
