- Moisturiser is the most important skin care products. Here are a few common moisturiser mistakes to avoid:
❌Using less quantity
✅You need a coin sized amount of moisturiser on your face and 3-4 pumps of moisturiser on your whole whole.
❌Dry skin instead of damp skin
✅Using moisturiser on damp skin not only requires less amount of moisturiser but also seals in the moisture to give you supple skin for longer. Always moisturise within 2 minutes of taking a shower when skin is still damp.
❌Using the wrong one for you skin
✅Every skin type requires a moisturiser. You need to find the correct one to suit your skin type. Use a gel based moisturiser for oily skin type and a cream or lotion formulation for dry skin type.
❌Not applying at night
✅Night time is the most important time to apply a moisturiser if you have dry skin. As heater or air conditioner is on while sleeping, then this increases the likelihood of drying out the skin. Applying a liberal amount of moisturiser on face and body before bed is important.
If you don’t have dry skin on the body, then just moisturise your face, hands and feet before bed.

How to apply moisturize on a damp skin when one is under acne treatment? While using benzoyl peroxide or clindamycin one has to wait for 20 to 30 mins to apply moisturize.
yeah same I apply my prescribed gels first then I have to wait for 10 - 15 mins otherwise it will all get mixed up 😂

mam, before applying moisturizer, in routines we apply serums and some serum suggested to be applied on dry face then how moisturizer can be used on damp skin? I always have this doubt pls clear.
After applying serum wait for few minutes then spray water 💧 on the face from spray bottle then apply moisturizer.

Exactly what i was about to ask. Serums need to dry up before you apply any moisturizer. Maybe we should spray some toner like rose water once the serum has dried up and then apply moisturizer?? But won't that kind of displace the serum? Idk ugh
@@subtlybomb yes, toners have cleaning properties so that would definitely remove the serum. Idk what to do so let's just keep applying moisturizer on dry skin until some dermat helps us.

First treat your open pores. You can use niacinimide from the ordinary and salicylic acid if you want to exfoliate the outer layer of your skin and it’s also amazing for balckheads and breakouts . If you have a combination skin or oily skin then go for a water gel moisturizers. I have a combination skin and it’s been a week I’m using neutrogena hydro boost water gel and it’s amazing and affordable 🫶🏻. But whenever you use any product on your face first patch test it🫶🏻
