Was a tough watch simply because the whole team bar Alisson looked like they just didn't care/believe. We used to pride ourselves on our immaculate mentality and this season has seen a ridiculous drop off in that department. Praying that we fix up next season because losing is one thing, but losing whilst not even putting in 100% effort is not acceptable for a club this size.

For the avoidance of doubt, the YNWA played at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu after the final whistle was in exchange for the tribute that LFC paid to our old legend Amancio Amaro in the first leg played in Anfield. No mocking at all. All the stadium stood there applauding. Real Madrid and LFC are two of the most legendary and traditional football clubs in the world and I guess the respect is reciprocal. We both represent the football that should prevail over the oil-state funded clubs.

No explanation needed, mate. It was clear what the intention was but some people (mostly not related to RM or LFC) have nothing better to do than troll. Something happens every time we play them, in the final we got bs'd from ramos wrestling Salah and giving karius a concussion, 2nd time we literally didn't have a defense or midfield, the 3rd time we were the much better team but they had courtois, and this time we had no midfield and 1st leg mistakes from gomez and Alisson cost us.

For Alisson we conceded because of recklessness in the defense and we didn't have the whole team in defense like madrid had in the final, so it was much easier for them to beat our defense.

my favorite part about that game is Mo in the rectangle alone against 400 defenders because the rest of the shitters are still in their half of the field since they gave up.

Qué pobre presentación la de Liverpool. Pudieron ser más goles a favor del Madrid de no haber sido por la buena actuación de Alisson. Increíble que en un período de 5 años con Klopp dirigiendo, los Reds no hayan podido derrotar al Real Madrid. Dos finales perdidas (la de Kiev en 2018 fue vergonzosa), dos derrotas en octavos de final con humillante goleada en el partido de ida y en cuartos de final, un empate y una derrota en 2021. Balance totalmente negativo.

Sadly our defense (specifically VVD, TAA) and all the midfielders were performing badly throughout the 90 minutes! There was no urgency, bad passes and so much time wasting!
there's just some tactical strategies that the team needs to develope, especially playing with defensive style teams, maybe the options is to change the formation and key players

We need to move TAA into midfield, he basically plays there on offence and is such a liability on defence, plus he is getting slower it seems to me. I understood Klopp's argument of 'best RB in the world' but he is not that anymore if he ever was. He was good there for the last few seasons but already last year was not performing. I think that his passing, crossing and shooting provide him with the foundations to be a great midfielder. Then if he fails in that position he would be a very valuable rotation piece. But he cannot be our only choice at right back when he is that poor defensively, being technically good is simply not enough, especially sharing that side of the field with Salah, whose defensive output is nearly zero (and should be as he is the main goal threat for us). Look at Bayern, they've been playing Stanisic over Cancelo and that is working so good for them. I'd sign Frimpong from Leverkusen, he looks amazing in a competitive team. Then we need to sign at least two midfielders and a CB (I'd rather have Rice over Bellingham, I think we need him more and Fabinho is looking very sloppy; sign Veiga from Celta, he is cheap; and Tomori from Milan for CB.

Trent completely fooled by Vini all over the match. That pressing game of kloop has no use againts Madrid. Whenever Liv players tried to press Madrid players crossed the ball to Vini Valvarde or carvajal overlapped and give pass to Modric or Kroos. It was an easy match for Madrid
