This defeat hurts so bad to this day if we won this game I believe we could have won the UCL again that year just shows you how good tuchel was as a coach and Todd bohley made a horrific mistake sacking him

The feeling when we saw Timo scores the 3rd ... brings a lot of things to mind - the Lukaku interview, sanctions, Tuchel saying that he'd drive a seven seater if needed, difficult season with a lot of injuries, but for those 5 mins, we were on top of the world. If only...

the role played by RLC was key on this game...playing a wing back also in the midfield at the same time..TT is class!
Just by this performance, you could see how much Tuchel got out of this squad. Yes, they didn't win the tie, and yes, many intelligient players left or don't start anymore like Rudiger, Christiansen, Alonso, Werner, Mount, and RLC, but they played so hard under Tuchel and knew their roles wherever the ball was. Now it just seems we have eleven individuals, but I hope they develop chemistry fast during the summer, because for guys like Thiago Silva, they don't deserve to end their careers like this. And of course, we all miss Roman, Marina, and Petr Cech, because they did so much for the club we love.

Some chelsea fans have the AUDACITY to say Werner was a problem when he ran his socks off and gave everything for us when he was on the pitch.
Then Sterling is MVP too? Running alone isn't going to cut it if you're brought in as a pure striker. There were barely any goals. Yes, i know you will obviously point out he scored in this game. But fans disliked his performance overall in all competitions. Both Werner and Sterling failed miserably, why they keep clinging on Sterling i have no idea. But don't try this "he gave it all" There was nothing in him to give. And for that pricetag and his wages, his performance was one of the worst in the history of Chelsea.
I know Tommy T won't come back but it really hurts seeing us play this well and looking how far we've dropped in standard in only a year - what a game

This match was unforgettable. It was the definition of Chelsea. That spirit, that fire to win! TT got the players together, playing together even though we didn’t play well come the final part of the season. But we turned up that night. This was the game where “the boys gave everything”.
This is the team and it’s all gone a year later. I’m so guttered.

I was expecting a Napoli 2011-12 type comeback. But I was so pleased after this game. Chelsea played their hearts out.
Pulisic and sterling should definitely start this game against Madrid tomorrow....and anyone from Felix and havertz....and we need Kante and Enzo partnership...in 343 form...we can't put Gallagher and rlc in this match...only worry is koulibaly and cucurella and kepa they have the habit to do mistakes after one good game..
