Not just the body types, but their poise and voices make them perfect candidates for casting. Beautiful performance; I wish I could have seen them live!
I knew flamenco clapping would be a perfect fit for Man of La Mancha! It sounds so beautiful in practice!
This is by far my favorite musical of all time…I saw it with Richard Kiley and the remake with Raul Julia and Sheena Easton..
But t.his man’s voice is totally awesome!!!!!
Goosebumps...
This is the very best sounding version of this song I've ever heard. 5 stars!!!
Wonderful! Such plausible Don Quixote and Sanchо.
THIS IS PHENOMENAL!!!
Awesome!
Great。;-)))**********
un capolavoro
If they are not on broadway they should be!!
Marc Kudisch is Broadway's most prolific baritone. :) (and in this song, he's back-placing his voice to sound older than he usually does, too) Jason Williams made his Broadway debut last year. I agree they are both fantastic and sing these roles perfectly. Great Quixote/Sancho pairing.
This is what Marc Kudisch sounds like when he's not back-placing: th-cam.com/video/dt-ua7GWkM0/w-d-xo.html (he's only 7 years younger in this video, despite what it looks/sounds like!) Both are great sounds -- and sound about 30-40 years apart in age!
This was really good
M L I agree this was good.
Best version I've ever heard. Both singers and the orchestra are all *perfect* in this.
Great

Don Quixote: 😏
They are so cute😁
2:56 - 3:10 is FIRE
D. H. Lawrence would love this. Leave your mind behind, old Turks! (ahem), I mean Greeks! (I'm not really his friend. We had a beer once.)
Watching the conductor, was there a bar of 6/8 at 3:16? I find the similarity between this piece and Aldonza interesting, given that Aldonza is conducted in 6/8+3/4, but this seems to be almost straight 3/4, but the conductor does the first bar of the new phrase as though it was 6/8.
What's that clacking instrument starting at 2:42
That's a wood block! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodblock_(instrument)
Where is this original with professional sound?
Bravo, Jason SweetTooth Williams! That was pretty much perfection. The vocal tone and characterization were a joy to watch. Sadly, Marc Kudisch's voice lacked the baritone gravitas this role requires. The self-indulgent, overacting also didn't help. As the line goes, it was... "bleak and unbearable."
Sancho is actually the better performer and singer. Don Quixote overdoes his role and should stick to how the song was written. Not bad overall.
Nah, not so great./. too much belching
