Here I was thinking this trap could have been a possible double kill by having Jamie sacrifice herself and being squished and the reverse button then being pressed by her dead body sending the dividing wall the other way killing Kate..

They really should have addressed the screwdrivers qualities at the start of the game, not too obvious but subtle enough that it warrants a replay

Watching these just made me realise how little effort is being put into the writing of the latest games released by this studio. It's like these people are the bravest souls out there, cuz they definitely don't seem shocked or anything. I can understand if there is one or two heroic character who is not as afraid as the others, but even in until dawn, those characters (Mike, Sam) still got their minds messed up by the end of it. Ashley was constantly crying, Jessica went from loud and confident to quiet and shocked, Emily's screams actually sounded like screams instead of the screams we hear in the latest dark pictures games.

So how come when i was playing as Jamie and i had the screwdriver, and i decided not to press the button, i died? There's clearly a glitch, and it makes me mad because i didnt want her to die.
