Last weekend a friend of mine was riding two up on a new blue 2924 Road Glide. He added the king tour pack to the bike but did not add rear bag guards. He was coming to a stop and dripped his bike. Scratched his left saddle bag, tour pack and slip on exhaust. Slight messed up his clutch lever and highway peg. He is now getting saddle bag guards.
In my area they are sold through the dealer only. That means I have to buy from them and pay their installation fee. I can’t just order and do it myself.
what I did was goning into the website and with the part number I look it up, then I check stores nearby my zip code and call them. I got one 26 miles away and I went there and got it
Love the video. I have a 22 road glide and all the guards I’ve found you have to cut part of the saddlebag bottom tube. I like how there is no cutting on yours. Can you hook me up with the part number and where you got them from?
Hey bud could you give the brand & parts info for both the bags & the engine guard, I like them but couldn’t see the description Appreciate any help we👍
@@thebikeaholic I would be curious if they are. Mine are about 7 months old and isn't bad, but enough to wear through the paint. I added some 3M tape on mine until I find a better solution.
Do you know if the saddlebag guards are different lengths I’ve purchased it in the right side is longer than left side manufacturer says this is because the bikes mount differently from left to right is he correct?
I rarely used my highway pegs on my old bike and don't plan on adding any to this one, there really is no way to do it. You could put your feet on the flat out bar itself though.
I just bought my 2024 Street Glide last weekend and I am missing my highway pegs from my previous '09 SG. I have been researching and really like the Cirro Frame Mount Highway Peg Brackets, tons of videos on here about them.
Do you have the link for these? I have the exact same bike and scratched my bag... I was so upset with myself. I like set that you have on both front and back.
Is there a length difference between the right and left side? I’ve purchased a set in the right side seems to be a little bit longer than left side the manufacturer says this is because the mouth differently from left or right is he correct?
@floydclark6853 bought it on line. The brand is Venom. There's an option to bolt it down but I did not and it's fine, as long as it's on concrete, otherwise it's slides.

Sorry to hear that. Yup they're worth every penny.

Wow i don't get that but okay.
Nice job . Looks great . I just ordered these also . Harley says mid May . OOOOFFFFF
Yeah I had to wait for a month as well. You'll love them.

By chance have you looked at the underside of your saddlebags to see if that bolt is wearing the saddlebag? Mine was wearing from the bolt.
@@mmroadking I have not looked. Should do that. Thanks for the heads up.

I really like those. Good video subded
? Where did you source your front tire chalk that holds your ride in place?
@4twentygrow547 I honestly don't remember. Brand name is Venom. Nothing special about it really. Just works well.
Thanks for the install video as well 🙏
If you don't mind, what is the part number on that kit? Please.

Thank you for the video !

Looks great. I want to order them for mine. I can't find them on the Harley website. Do you still have the part number?
Part # 90202657
You should adjust your shock. It is set at zero preload looking at video. You will get a better ride to adjust it to your weight
Yep
For the front set and rear set how much was pricing Ruffly. Great work btw
The rear guards were $457 Canadian. I think the flat out bar was about $300.
Great video thx. I just got my front set up, waiting on the rear. Have u figured out how to run a highway peg with the bar ?

Price separately for each one?? and did u get them from the dealer?? Please respond? Thank you.
@@roadking681 they come as a set. Ordered them from the dealer. Don't remember what I paid. You can look that up on the HD website.

@vanessagleaves4565 check on the Harley Website, they're both from there.
Link would be amazing for front and back!!!
@@towdybartlett9747 they are available on the Harley Website

@@gerryarseneau2023 I purchased mine from HD, the website. Both sides are equal. No difference between them.
What will cholk are you using to keep the bike up and is it bolted down

I was going to go with those. They are on back order for a month. I ordered Amazon ones. 😂😂😂😂😂
How was the fit and do you have the link
Gassssp 😮 lol jk. There’s quality stuff on there. Did you like them?
do you know if those two sets will fit the 2023.5 cvo roadglide by chance?
Yes they will.
Does the rear ones affect the passenger at all?
@DMobley232 no it does not.
I cant find these on Harley's site. Part Number?
nevermind! You zoomed in on the packaging :)
Just got mine
I can't get over how much I dislike the new style bags. Not sure about the blunt end of the guards either.
