I still love my LV reverse monogram hidupz clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's
@@bluesriderDF Can you please tell me if these are OEM Harley Saddle Bag Guards, or did you go with another company? Thank you in advance for your reply! Great video!
@@243wayne1 The part no's in the description are OEM, yes. I did drop the bike during low speed practice and the saddlebags never got a scratch. th-cam.com/video/FYso3eQkt8o/w-d-xo.html
...good video, thank you. I did mine today. Setting the torques right was a big problem: the (torx) bolt head locations had some accessibility issues. I spent entirely too much time on this but am happy to have these things on the bike.
thanks for the info. looking at doing this and then adding the "motorcycle drop guard" kit also which protects your chrome finish on the guards and they also include a primary guard for additional protection there.
Thanks! I can tell you they definitely work. I was practicing very tight U turns last summer and she went down. My fault of course, I knew this was a risk, but I am trying to become more skilled. th-cam.com/video/FYso3eQkt8o/w-d-xo.html
Great video, just wondering what is holding the exhaust in place after you remove the bolts and bracket from the muffler? Will the muffler move out of position?
I just bought an 11 ultra classic prev owner installed extended bags from a 2014 model I think they're the Rushmore style bags with the different opening handle. Is this about the same for installation on my 2011?
Remember that the Street Glide was introduced as a lighter, less-equipped version of the touring bikes of the day, which had the guards. Personally I wouldn't go without the guards!
Go on to Harley's website, punch in your model, and see what's available. Sometimes HD doesn't have things but they are available on eBay or from other aftermarket sources.
Grab one of the part numbers I put in the description. Go to www.harley-davidson.com and lookup the part. Then check the fitment section and it will tell you if it fits.

The piece I'm installing at 1:35 - the muffler supports go through that rubber part, holding them in place the same as the original part.
Thanks
