Volvo D13 really gets going for sure! It has more power at 435 HP compared to the MCI J4500's Cummins X12 only having 410 HP (option for 425 HP), but does indeed have less power than the VanHool CX-45's Cummins X12 with 455 HP.
@@alblua hey, I seen many trucking channels but not many bus pov videos and I think you have the best quality content with buses, so thank you for the effort.
They're quite nice indeed, the standard is actually 56 seats for a full size motorcoach (sometimes older buses have 55 or 57), excluding custom interior configs
Does the tag lift when the turn signal is activated and lowered after the turn is made? What is the lever on the right side of the steering wheel? Finally, in what city is that Prevost garage?
You need to operate the tag lift manually. It won’t go up if you are going more than 20 km/h. The lever is the engine break option. It’s not on the steering wheel anymore.
Tag lift is automatic during turns, you can see the tag lift indicator turn on in the dash during turns at lower speeds. Yes, the lever on the right is engine brake. The detents in order are auto, 1, and 2. The button on the side turns it on and off. The garage you saw is in Chicago near O'Hare airport.
Also right after i got to the highway i saw a new prevost and the company name said signature or something i dunno and a vanhool that says peoriacharter
Wow that Volvo d13 engine has amazing get up and go, seems to have more power than the Cummins x12
It has less power than the X12

It has wave headed pistons
@@albluaI think they have more torque though than the cx45s right
Superb engines those Volvo D13s
It's a good engine!
I like your videos they’re fantastic on trying new buses
Thanks! I'm hoping to be able to demo more new buses in the future :)
I would love to see more of your convoy videos
I'm usually assigned solo trips, but I'm looking forward to my next convoy! 😊

Thank you for the kind words! 😁
Sad to see this bus go.
Sure is, we only had it for about a week
The seats are comfortable and very seating for 23 -49 people

Is the Urbana terminal for Peoria Charter going to have Prevost H3-45 base out of there?
Once we have a set of diagnostics hardware and parts inventory for Prevost at our Urbana facility, we'll be able to station some there
I saw one company that has one of those busses
Also right after i got to the highway i saw a new prevost and the company name said signature or something i dunno and a vanhool that says peoriacharter
