Nice collection of cars. I worked at Saleen in Troy mi. Building the 05-06 gt 40s. Seeing your black one brought back some memories.. I probably did some paint work on it. lol.

That dude was so excited to show off his cars. I would be like that too if I had cars like that.
Everyone seems to think these are original GT40's. These are kit cars. Granted built as close to originals, but the remaining originals are in museums or wealthy collectors garages and never see the roads anymore. An original GT40 is priceless and not nearly as refined as the kit cars. Take nothing away from the reproductions of these or cobra replicas. The companies that build the replicas were born with a passion and love of the originals and the products they turn out are as close to the real vehicles you can get.
Dude that’s soo cool. He really enjoys his car and even better the pure look of joy on his face to have Hailie drive. Never mind the look on Hailie’s face…. GOLD!! Great edit as usual.

I'm assuming most people in the comments have some knowledge of cars, but if you don't... her reaction is so genuine and my forever going to be a jealous man...
She drives legit race cars for a living and the look on her face during his first pull was awesome. Later the "So much fun" comment says all you need to know.
My car pic would have been the Posrche Speedster on the lift.
For her to get excited on those takeoffs , You know it’s fast.I’m one of her biggest fans. I have high hopes for her in the future.
I hope she is the first woman to take a championship home in the Big Leagues. Her Daddy always did it right away ,... relatively speaking.
I love classic cars. I currently have a 1969 duke of hazzard general lee , 1992 mr2, and a 1971 Ford maverick. My dream car is definitely a 1956 desoto. Being in drag racing I get to race classic cars all the time.
Watching how happy this makes Hallie makes this content amazing. Someone who makes a living driving fast cars. She is a true car girl.

The movie bullitt is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. I absolutely love the chase scene between the 1968 charger vs the 69 mustang fast back driven my steve McQueen.

In the 1977 my daily was 69 mach1 r code 428 cj after that a 5.0 street warrior was at sears point when lane sports broke years long drought in trans am by winning in a mercury caprie .as a current ford driver to see you at track day driving g t 40 what a glorious way to honor those glory days . from a true fan 😊
of course it’s a Ford. my favorite car is a 1972 Monte Carlo. my dad had one when I was a kid and he sold it long before I was able to drive.

Does it really pull harder then a Nascar Truck?
I imagine it does, about the same horsepower but weighs less (pretty sure the 66 does, less sure of the 2004-5 model), plus the weight is over the rear tires more than the truck.

The car Hailie just drove, has the "Gurney hump" over the door. When driving the original GT 40, Dan Gurney was too tall for the roof height, so they put that hump in it, to clear his helmet. So there is a chance!

These old Ford GTs were ahead of their time. This was a radical design compared to the spaceship-shaped cars that American automakers were known for during this era. Ford went from building spaceships to UFOs!

I’m actually so jealous now! I love these cars and not many cars ever excite me as much but whenever I see a mustang or something muscle I always have the widest eyes. That’s a blue cobra on the ramp too right? SO NICE! Also I’m more of a motorcycle fan and ride myself so liking cars isn’t my forte.

My dad was around then. He started working for Dan Gurney in 1965, and left in either 1972 or 1973. He did IndyCar stuff, but my Aunt went to LeMans in 1967 when Gurney and Foyt won in the MkIV

is it faster than your race car? Her reaction looked like it was the fastest thing she'd ever been in. Then again, I've seen Cleetus have that reaction when I know cars aren't as fast as Mullet and the gang.
It's about 1500 pounds lighter, than a NASCAR Racer, should be faster.

I'm a former MARSOC Marine, and I have a couple of friends whom are SEALS and SWCC.... We were talking about Haillie on the SWCC boat in San Diego bay.... They were shaking their heads in disbelief in wondering what kind of political B.S. the Navy was trying to pull in letting this chick "handle" a SWCC boat.... She's gonna turn out just like Danica Patrick.... All show, and no go.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
