I kept saying “ I can’t do this again “ but I always remind myself that all babies are different so I appreciate you ( someone who is much further into motherhood) reassuring that!
I second this!! Just had my 4th baby and we have had two very spirited colicky babies and two more chill. A boy and girl of each. My first baby never slept and was soooo difficult. My next baby was much more chill. I couldn’t believe it! Lol
I was going to say, I LOVE when cleaning is in real time and not sped up sometimes! With voiceover! Realistic, calming, helps for that body doubling motivation. Yay!!!

The never ending list of invisible tasks are a killer. I have decided to start writing them out and putting them on the fridge. This way, even if no one helps me, everyone knows that I am working my butt of on crap they clearly don't want to do either. So, regardless of how small, if it takes more than 1 minute, then it goes on the list. I am now naming the list, "the ever ending invisible tasks" list. ETA: My 16yo told me the other day that since "aging" has such a negative connotation, we should use the word, "growing" since we never stop doing that. I liked that idea a lot 😊
I bought my first house around the same time you guys bought your house. While I was waiting to close on my house, I went to TH-cam for thoughts, ideas and expectations when buying a house. I came across your empty house walk through, then went back and watched your videos of looking at houses. I then came across a video of you cooking in your old house house. I remembered previously seeing your cooking videos and how funny you were. I haven’t missed an upload since! I also sometimes can’t believe my house is mine. I found it on Zillow and thought, that will never happen, but what do I like about it to consider looking for in other houses. It ended up being the only house I looked at in person, and I couldn’t be happier! The first realtor I met with didn’t really take me seriously as a first time home buyer when I went to her wanting to make an appointment for her to show me this house. My uncle said he could have his realtor show me the house. She didn’t have to find it or show me other houses, so although it is a modest house with a modest commission for her, I’m so happy she helped me through the process! 4 months after I moved into my house that first realtor called me to see where I was in the process and if I was starting to get serious about buying a house. I said, remember that house I brought to you to show me? I’m sitting in the living room. I bought it 😊 Thank you again Kim for bringing a little happiness into our days 😊

KIM the Best thing I have found to clean stainless steel is alcohol in a spray bottle. It works so well my cleaning ladies took my idea and use it. ❤😊 LEAVES NO STEAKS WITH MINIMAL EFFORT. 🎊 🎉 also get the hover cover with the magnet on it. I barley clean my microwave and I throw the cover in the dishwasher. It is a must have!! 😊

I so agree with things you said. Every baby is different! I had a high needs baby, and some days, I felt like I was drowning. I would look at other moms and wonder how it looked so easy for them, even though I knew my baby was very different than my others and much more needy. Also, yes, priorities. If someone came to my house right now, I'd be embarrassed because I'm so behind on housework, BUT, that's because the weather finally got nice this week and I've been doing yard work and playing outside with my kids. You only have so much time in a day, you know? After a long, cloudy, snowy winter and a very wet, cloudy, cold start to spring, I chose to prioritize getting outside and getting some sunshine over cleaning my house.
I don't know, but some 90 year old vitamin shop owner told me to get on vitamin A 10,000 units for my pneumonia I had. After a couple of months my eyesight was getting better too. I went from 125/20 vision to passing license test no problem. Still good at 58. Worth a try, I use a food Carotene A.

Oh man, I’ve got my own “Velcro baby” here in my arms. Four weeks old but the SECOND you try to put him down, he wakes up 90% of the time. Thank goodness for other people who can help hold him sometimes!

Best thing I use for stainless steel is a flute cleaning cloth... Its used to shine up a flute, doesn't cost much, and can be used a lot before it loses its power)) my go to for shining up any silverware or stainless steel

I listened while gardening & getting more starter veggies ready to plant by May. Then, I have to wash a doz out of 50 fresh eggs from our chickens to make deviled eggs & freeze more. Fun fun! Wow, what a day Kim. I need to find a Kkms cleaning service now..Cleaning in my house is delayed for my standards for about 6 weeks.. Broke my ankle Monday.. And Wolfgang kept his cheek to the side there cause he loved his Mama's kissy face kisses .. Look at him pushing himself up like that . Have a good week.. lol. My husband has been dust mopping, vacuuming, keeping the kitchen clean and washing his clothes and taking care of the dog. We'll see how that goes.

I absolutely agree that things happen when they happen for a reason. I made brownies at 4pm, I work from home, and half the pan was gone at the end of the night. Not a great idea after all. AND I just watched the channel Diary of a CEO and the Daniel Amen interview and it was about brain health. It was worth the listen and was in line with your line of thoughts.

I've also tried all the fancy tablets for the garbage disposal...they don't work like good old ice cubes and cut up lemon rinds. Always makes kitchen smell fresh and clean. I've saved the podcast you talked about...always need a reminder that whatever you tell yourself about yourself (huh? hahaha) will come true right? 💜💙💚💛🧡
To clean your garbage disposal you can use citrus peels. Once a month or as needed, cut half of a lemon or lime into quarters and throw those in and dispose. I usually use one we used for juice in a recipe for dinner and then use it after we clean up from dinner.

Best thing I use for stainless steel is a flute cleaning cloth... Its used to shine up a flute, doesn't cost much, and can be used a lot before it loses its power)) my go to for shining up any silverware or stainless steel

Hey Kim. Happy Thursday. Don't worry about your home. Right now mines messier. I haven't finished spring cleaning and now it will be summer cleaning. Finally had surgery and will be taking it easy for 4 mths. My husband's still cooking and cleaning. Poor guy. It's warm here and getting ready to plant potatoes. Wolfgang is so cute. I listened while gardening & getting more starter veggies ready to plant by May. Then, I have to wash a doz out of 50 fresh eggs from our chickens to make deviled eggs & freeze more. Fun fun! A slow cooker full of veggie soup smells like someone has been cooking all day (I can dream, right?), & I'm hungry! I hope you're having a great day

Wow, what a day Kim. I need to find a Kkms cleaning service now..Cleaning in my house is delayed for my standards for about 6 weeks.. Broke my ankle Monday.. And Wolfgang kept his cheek to the side there cause he loved his Mama's kissy face kisses .. Look at him pushing himself up like that . Have a good week.. lol. My husband has been dust mopping, vacuuming, keeping the kitchen clean and washing his clothes and taking care of the dog. We'll see how that goes.

I absolutely agree that things happen when they happen for a reason. I made brownies at 4pm, I work from home, and half the pan was gone at the end of the night. Not a great idea after all. AND I just watched the channel Diary of a CEO and the Daniel Amen interview and it was about brain health. It was worth the listen and was in line with your line of thoughts.

I've also tried all the fancy tablets for the garbage disposal...they don't work like good old ice cubes and cut up lemon rinds. Always makes kitchen smell fresh and clean. To clean your garbage disposal you can use citrus peels. Once a month or as needed, cut half of a lemon or lime into quarters and throw those in and dispose. I usually use one we used for juice in a recipe for dinner and then use it after we clean up from dinner.
