I paid a special visit to this fire department back in 2012 .i learned this engine company lost the most my purpose for the visit was this i had purchased a team USA hockey jersey and i presented them with it i donated the jersey to the firefighters .now I’m from Montreal i just found i had to do this after for everything these guys do to protect us sacrifice their lives to save ours .they sacrifice their lives Tom save others on any given day thank you for everything you guys do on a daily basis 2 yrs later i returned to New York and made a special stop to engine 55 they remembered us and it was such heartfelt i don’t have any footage cause the 1st visit it teared me up pretty bad I wish i had just a token of our appreciation and myself being from canada I just wanted to make sure they received it thanks guys for everything you do

Hahaha! It was. Those cones make NYC Streets already tighter then they already are! Yes I have a radio that gives info to the box alarm they are responding to which is cool. Yes, Jeffknight109 & Mr.Firebuff. They are cousins. And my little bro with the blue has and gray jacket. 55 surely had a packed visit with all of us inside 😂

It’s a odor of gas run…. The FDNY goes on literally thousands of these call types every year and 99 percent of the time it’s coming from a stove that can be shut off manually at the appliance itself. If it were an actual report of fire they would be flying out the door.
