The world's most famous tenor operatic singer, Pavarotti, loved to collaborate. This concert was called Pavarotti and Friends. He invited James Brown to the stage for this rendition of his 1966 hit song "It's a Man's World." Two legends from completely different backgrounds & genres with beautiful respect for one another's talent. That's art & love my friends. RIP Luciano & James 🎵✌❤

    Here's Pavarotti's verse translated:
Man runs the power but doesn't know
great limits has to be how it will be done
In his palm he holds an idea
    that doesn't live
    in his imagination… he wanted
If you don't notice that then
    nothing makes sense
if you live only for yourself

With opera music it's meant to be felt ...this is a beautiful between the emotion of the opera and the beautiful voice also if James brown .it's overwhelming and amazing .a good song to react to would be ""black sabbath.. sabbath bloody Sabbath" "

There are concerts in Paris, Rome, Los Angeles & other locations. They are good friends and enjoy trying to outdo each other’s performances. They include popular sings in their concerts.

My favorite all-time voices in order are Luciano Pavarotti, Freddie Mercury, Frank Sinatra, Steve Perry, George Michael, Robert Palmer, and welp, Patrick Wilson. lol The reason I laugh is because Patrick is mostly known as an actor in horror movies (or Orm the Ocean Master 🤣). But he started on Broadway and has an amazing singing voice even if we don't get to hear it enough. Only he and Steve are alive. Everyone else died on me. Getting old sucks. There was a point in time when I could have seen Pavarotti at the Met in NYC if I felt like charging $300 bucks which was a lot back then. I should have spent it. If you ever want to see someone live, go. You never know when you won't have the chance. I was smart enough to catch Frank, George and Robert before they went. I'm really glad I did. Patrick I've seen twice but I'd still need to see Steve if things get better and concerts are normal again.

If you guys want to hear some stirring use of classical instruments in a more modern setting, then I cannot help but admit that Yanni's concert from the Acropolis is worth a look. He works with very good musicians--his violin player is well known in the jazz world. This song features her among others, getting solo time. You might also want to check out her violin duel with another lead violin, from the same concert.
You would also likely enjoy Two Cellos and their version of Smooth Criminal, among others.
