The absolute king of soul music James Brown and the Great Pavarotti one of my favorite tenors wow incredible these two monsters together. Extravaganza!!!
@Marie Whitbread Never said he was the guest. Saying "Pavarotti did a whole series of guess duos" meant he had the guest performers come to perform at his concert. I guess it could be taken both ways.
James Brown was a close friend to Elvis. James called Elvis is soul/brother. Do "If I Can Dream" from the 68 special by Elvis a song Elvis did for MLK. You'll love it.
Coolrockndad Have a look down the list of videos by Frank for about a month ago and you will see his reaction to If I Can Dream. Hope you are able to find it.
Wonderful reaction!! You’ll love Pavarotti and BB King doing “The Thrill is Gone”! Pavarotti can’t help but dance to the Blues. And speaking of Blues, have you reacted to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble? Oh please do! Maybe start with “Texas Flood “ live from El Macombo. I promise you’ll be thrilled! Thank you!!
Who would have thought putting those two together it was FABULOUS you have got to listen to celine's Dion and pavarotti singing hate you one of the best Male female duets ever
Lord almighty Frank😯!☕ who needs coffee with these two legends singing. Incredible absolutely incredible. Have never heard this. Its like an aphrodisiac Frank 😍 Thank you Thank you🙇🏼♀️❤❤😊👏👏👏
O M G ! Frank!...Didn't know that this duet existed ! Full-body chills...worlds colliding... Followed by my head exploding 💣 Thanks for posting this reaction👍
My two cousins are playing in the orchestra here in Modena (they are also part of Rondò Veneziano), they said that on paper this shouldn't have worked, but obviously it did. Also love watching the gorgeous Frank and his reactions.. thank you for posting this fabulous video. Definitely subscribing to this channel. Blessings from the United Kindgom!
Thank you Frank for reacting to this video. Two masters in action there is no words for this talent. Thank you also for reacting to our Mexican singers we really enjoyed all of your comments.
This music has the power of which the material of the universe is made, the top! great video thanks for publishing and commenting Pavarotti and James B. play enchanting melodies perfectly adapted to a symphony orchestra, all this bellissimo
It was at the Arena di Verona! Pavarotti's intention was to "unite" lirica and all music with "Pavarotti and Friends" Every time of this show was Legend! Thank God they taped and this generation and Also the future are willing ti know and appreciate❤️ Love from 🇮🇹
The Godfather of soul, The King of Funk, and to me also The King of Rock. His delivery and vocal stylings in popular music influenced just as much in ROCK as Soul. Influenced the KING OF POP. Also was heavily sampled by HIP HOP. A lot can said about James, but he's Father of this shit. You're Pavorotti is also a giant, he fit so well on James's masterpiece of a song! The instruments, the picture painted in the song. Forever CLASSIC
Love your reaction, honestly i feel like i'm looking in a mirror the first time i ever heard this When Pavarotti started, and then went up.......kill me now!
Yisuuuuuuuuus, muchas gracias por tus reacciones porque así tmb nosotros descubrimos música que vale muchísimo la pena, gracias porque nunca había escuchado esta canción 💖
I have all the Pavarotti and Friends tracks in my car and I never get tired of listening them ...but Luciano singing Caruso di Lucio Dalla e una meraviglia ...and I heard this song for the first time in the movie The fortunate pilgrim (Mamma Lucia) which was one of the first movies played at the public television in my former comunist country in 1990 or 1991 i don't remember exactly ...so many years ago and it stuk in my head tho I was a child
I was going to ask you to react to the greatest Luciano Pavarotti, and here he is 😊 I was also going to ask you to react to some old Italian singer, I grew up listening to Nicola DiBari, Lucio Dalla and of course Pavarotti singing old Italian song, beautiful!
For me its the same thing like what you said about not really appreciating these artist like Pavarotti while growing up - I was in my teens growing up in the 80's and I was more into what made the 80's the 80's from Punk, Heavy Metal, Speed Metal, Rap, New Wave, and so on and so forth. I remember my mom putting on the radio while doing house work or my dad sitting in front of the TV (with a Cervesa) in the weekends watch these Mexican variety shows like Simprea en Domingo watching the then I wouldn't care for it then but now as I get older I really appreciate more and more maybe this is why I stumbled upon your channel Awesome Dou Ciao
es una maravilla... están los vídeos de Pavarotti y sus amigos.. muchos artistas que compartieron escenario con él.. es un deleite... después de Paravotti... Dimash.. mis dos amores de la música.. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Sorry since I'm not a singer or musician, but I've listen to this a ton of times and it seems to work so well because Pavarotti plays with the orchestra (because that's what he does) and James Brown uses Pavarotti's voice as an instrument because it's so precise and steady. Might be wrong and simplistic.
My favorite version ever !!! Now please react to David Phelps live only please. songs like Just as I am, No More Night, The Dream, Nessun Dorma, Water, and many more. I wouldn't steer you wrong Brother. Thank you !
thank you to react to this masterpiece I did recommend this song to you and I also recommend you to react to Jose Jose life in Acapulco. Desesperado is the name of the song, I hope you can get the lyrics translation.
Great reaction Frank, i agree with all the points you made, This was a really amazing performance by the maestro Luciano Pavarotti and Legend James Brown! Perhaps you may consider reacting to Pavarotti's amazing performance of the Aria ( "Vesti La Gubba, ) i have posted the link below, with English subtitles! The words are very important because they create the dark dynamic mood of the Aria and Pavarotti's beautiful voice, brings this story of betrayal alive in a really emotional way! th-cam.com/video/ZzUJ8Hf0hm4/w-d-xo.html
There are no words that can describe these two geniuses ... TWO LEGENDS !!!
This is the video I wanted you to watch of two masters 🙌🏻 and I found it, love the reaction ❤️🙏🏻
They both left it all out there for us to appreciate
Who organize this event deserve academy award
And the orchestra’s incredible as well! Luciano partnered with many other pop and soul singers as well. Magnifico!
Love your reaction to this!

@Marie Whitbread Never said he was the guest. Saying "Pavarotti did a whole series of guess duos" meant he had the guest performers come to perform at his concert. I guess it could be taken both ways.
He did the duo concerts for charity. They were called 'Pavarotti and Friends'.
James Brown was a close friend to Elvis. James called Elvis is soul/brother. Do "If I Can Dream" from the 68 special by Elvis a song Elvis did for MLK. You'll love it.

Pavarotti lost his father 2 days prior to this concert as well as being diagnosed with cancer as well.
