I had the awesome pleasure of seeing you and Marc and the boys at the Brighton Dome on the 19th December 1970. Unfortunately I had to leave half way through the set to catch the train home to Bognor just as Marc had picked up his Les Paul and was starting the electric second part to the set with Elemental Child! Sad but a great memory all the same! Love you guys!

Yeah poor Bill and Steve had to watch Marc like a hawk as he just did his own thing and they had to keep it together and tight. As for Mickey, well he slapped those bongos and looked gorgeous. Bless you Bill and may Marc, Mickey & Steve rest in peace ❤
Beautiful message ! I'm in northeast U.S. and back in the early 70's, it was difficult to get the newest releases by T.Rex because they came weeks or months after the U.K. I had to go thru mail and get exchange rate for dollar-to-pound currency to pay for my import purchases ! Thanks to the long gone independent record stores that started supplying import merch in mid-70's ! KALMIYH !
BILL LEGEND playing in a legendary band one of the most underrated drummers in the world.To me you were the best drummer in the world helped to make all the classic tracks that T.Rex ever produced to many to mention a true star in your own right God bless you and stay safe you and your family

A fantastic tribute Bill...alas I did not get to see to band until 1976 during the Futuristic Dragon tour...I remember seeing the real T.Rex in Born to Boogie at the cinema at Southend on Sea when I was 10 back in 1972 the excitement lasted for days...must say you’re looking well...a true Legend.....you and your family keep well....Ray from Benfleet.

I remember the Melody Maker or NME review, which read "You won't fool the children of the revolution", but you did Marc, you did.
It was spot on, I lost interest after this although he did put on a good show at DeMontfort Hall Leicester. His 2 classics, Hot Love and Get It On still have legs.

I salute you, Mr. Legend.
You and Steve Currie played so well together Bill and should have been used much more than you were because you were among the best rythm sections in the UK or anywhere else in that period and this 1972 Wembley gig proves that once again. In fact to me you seem tighter than ever and on fire with the inspiration of the times. That inspiration to play is what I miss today where everyone is busy getting the slide-rule out (remember those?) instead of feeling it and playing real instruments. Thanks for the memory.
