yep, ive said that previously, glad you pointed it out. Difference between them? Jordan was subtle doing to Red " johnny" Kerr and they would play jokes back and forth. Lebron? Walks up, makes sure everyone is looking. Making sure the cameras are out recording. Gets the chalk, doesn't even look at the scorers table because he could care less about them. THen he throws it up really high and holds his arms open for the shot and then goes to center court. The " look at me and post" generation.

In one way or another, the Detroit Pistons and the Knicks are two fundamental pieces in Jordan's sporting life. We must remember that a winner is as good as his rivals force him to be. If the rivals are weak, the winner does not grow. If the rivals are good, the winner must strive harder to obtain victory... Facing the Pistons and the Knicks every year undoubtedly made him stronger... the duels with John Starks and that mountain of muscles that was Xavier McDaniel were legendary.

    • @StylesD83
      @StylesD83 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@WALKINGPHONE I'm glad you said that. Jordan was forged by fire. The Pistons and Knicks were fundamental to MJ's story. The Pistons were the reason MJ and the Bulls became unstoppable. MJ/Bulls took those "Ls" early, in his career to them and eventually, took the mantle, once they learned how to overcome the Piston's hyper-aggressive, playstyle. The Knicks were that team that made sure the Bulls didn't get too, comfortable being on top. It was teams like those, that helped build MJ and The Bull's legacy.

In an interview with MJ that aired prior to the ‘92 Finals against the Blazers, MJ stated that he chose not to shoot 3-pointers because it took away from his overall game…and said that he didn’t want to hang around the 3-point line waiting for someone to pass him the ball because he preferred to drive to the basket and draw the defenders into committing a foul so that he could shoot the easy free throw, and if he couldn’t drive to the basket, he preferred to shoot his jump shot if necessary…he was a unique specimen of an athlete.👽😉👍🔥

Yep, the "shrug game" 1 when he scored 35 points in the first half which is still an NBA finals game record (and something very few mention is he actually played only half of the second quarter so actually it is 35 points in a quarter and a half) including 6 of 8 threes (ended up with 6 of 9) . One of the best performances of his career and one of the biggest blowouts in NBA's finals history! When it comes to MJ's performance in the finals there is so much to talk, would be nice if someone makes a video on that. Every Lebron fan should watch it and learn...

Well he made it. He shrugged it off. That's mike. The GOAT. if you mock his game during his time he'll prove you wrong. In a humiliating way. Bet these woke fans don't even know a story of him during the olympics where he guarded an opponent the whole game like it's the NBA Finals. Appreciate your honest response and taking our advice on this video. I was blessed to see Magic, Kareem and Bird play, i saw MJ and then Kobe and Lebron. True honestly, there was nobody like MJ. The arena, the energy and intense energy and you knew and were waiting for something special.
Remember a big fact. Jordan did the bulk of his stats over only ELEVEN YEARS. Let that sink in. One year, out with a broken foot, came back played only 17 games. Another year came back late from baseball only played 24 games. Those are two dead seasons for stats period. SO that leaves then when he came back hurt to play for the wizards at 39 and 40. That is why , his numbers are insaneeeeeeeeeee.
Lets be honest, we all know why he got the longevity like many other players in this "softer rules" generation of basketball. Jordan wasn't injured during his years. Durable as all heck and started the whole training for fitness and strength in the nba with trainer Tim Grover (day Jordan retired Kobe called him and hired him) Jordan took care of himself and played all 82 games in 10 seasons. Lebron? He has done it 1 time and just tried to do it NOW and failed . Jordan played all 82 games his last year with the wizards, at 40.
This generation of athletes are soft. They made their millions before even stepping on the court. No incentive at all to win. It's a buddy, buddy league, take the three pointer, do the dribble 20 times, one on one and little defense, traveling is almost never called and what an assist is considered now was NEVER an assist in all previous generations of basketball. Now we hear about the whole "workload management" crap LMAOOOO, Seriously? The 90's players didn't need that plus this generation being paid $20-$30-$40million per YEAR. Get their butts on the court. They lazy . Lebron gets a hangnail , needs to sit out for a week. Other players taking weeks off at a time. Lebron half the time doesn't run back on defense as you saw in the video and stilllll doing that current day. Talk about longevity. Anyone in this generation is going to be able to last 20+ seasons with that type of work ethic or lack thereof. Guess when lebron was last on the " All defensive team" ? 2013 and it was for 2nd team all defensive team. Jordan? His last year with the bulls in 98 when he retired at 35 , made all defensive 1st team LOL.
It's why i said you had to watch this video and you said it, " it put it into perspective".
Im sorry but Lebron is a player during the "internet/social media generation. Hype hype hype hype hype and PAID media to push the Lebron narrative. From ESPN to Klutch sports we have seen and heard the money and people being paid to hype him. There is no questions its been exposed. Honestly for me, i have him in top 10 but not top 5. About the total points record? Just about any scorer playing 22 season will do that. Karl Malone scored more than jordan so did Kobe all time but they played many more season than jordan. Why isn't Karl Malone in the discussion. I'll tell you why, MICHAEL JORDAN. Remember i mentioned Jordan's 11 seasons where the bulk of stats were done? It took lebron and kobe to their 17th SEASONS to pass jordan in all time scoring. So the all time scorer it total points doesn't hold a massive amount of weight when discussing the GOAT.
It's all about getting FACTS and putting things into PERSPECTIVE. Look forward to your future videos.

Were does everyone get this narrative that lebron james has a higher basketball iq? If that were true, I'm pretty sure he would have had more championships than 4. Especially with all the top 50 players and HOF players he's played with.. If his IQ was higher than jordan, then why did jordan have a better work ethic and practice harder and played harder both on offense and defense to show his teammates by example and push them to make them better players..wouldn't a higher basketball IQ know this? how can his IQ be so high if takes time off on Defense to rest. Especially in his last few years when he's been a defensive liability at times. Wouldn't a higher basketball IQ know relaxing on Defense hurts your team by allowing easier baskets for the other team? They say he makes his teammates better but if that's true, why do most players who play with him average way less points in their careers when they played with him, compared to when they played on other teams? I just don't get it. He's an amazing player. Top 5 overall, but too many false narratives. I guess what makes his basketball IQ pretty high is he knows how to flop so well to get lots of foul calls

@GilbertoGonzalez-e4y you have a very ignorant and somewhat less than basic understanding of basketball. The "narrative" of a high basketball IQ came from his fellow basketball players, coaches, basketball analysts, both opposing as well as teammates. Even skip bayless, an even bigger Lebron hater than you says his basketball iq is off the charts, and also calls him one of the best passers he's ever seen. I think ill believe them over some random guy on the internenet who doesnt really know what hes talking about. He makes the right plays, all the time. That doesn't mean taking 30+ shots a game because you are trying to average 40 points a game, but rather trying to get your teammates involved. He hasn't won more than 4 rings because basketball is a team sport... it takes more than just 1 or 2 or even 3 super stars or really good players to win. It takes depth, which he's rarely had on any of his teams, it takes great coaching, which he's only on a few occasions had, spoelstra was probably the only very great coach he's had, it takes chemistry and it takes a little bit of luck - like your teammates not getting injured. If kyrie and love aren't hurt in 2015 he'd most likely at least one more. If warriors don't create one of the greatest superteams ever, maybe he has one or two more. If lakers front office don't dismantle that championship team it's possible they could have one another the following year. And you act like 4 rings isn't a lot.... only one player has more finals mvps than Lebron. No one has ever won a finals mvp with 3 different teams, that's not easy to do, I it were more people would have done it. Lebron had the misfortune of being drafted by an incredibly incompetent front office that did nothing to put a good team around him. NO ONE in the history of the game would have carried that 07 cavs team to the finals which is widely regarded as one of the worst ever. And then he had to play against the legendary spurs team, coached by at least the 2nd greatest coach ever (phil being the first). Lebron has made the most of what has been a fairly unlucky career. And I'm honestly sick of the ignorant narratives that people created around him.

A lot of people forget or don't know that jordan retired twice as the best player in the game. He retired in 94, and for 75% of the 95 season. Then he retired again as the best player in 1998. If jordan doesn't retire at minimum he gets another 1-2 rings, 1-2 finals mvps, another three 1st all defensive teams selections, which puts him 3 past everyone else, another 2-3 scoring titles, another 12k points, another 1-2 season mvps. So if he doesn't retire twice in my opinion he finishes with at least 7 season mvps, at least 8 rings, 8 finals mvps, 44k points, 12 1st all defensive selections, 13 scoring titles which he already owns the record of 10. Finishes 2nd in total steals.

As someone who watched both careers and is staunchly on the side of Jordan is the GOAT (and to me, it isn't particularly close) I can't blame younger bucks who never saw Jordan but grew up in the LeBron era thinking that LeBron is HIM. I get it. It's not your fault. You had to be there for both to have the unique perspective. Even as amazing as that "Jordan Legendary Bulls Mixtape" video is, it doesn't do it justice. LeBron is without a doubt a King. But Jordan is a basketball God. It's that simple. Why be a King, when you can be a God?

15:15 Because when Bill Russel won 11 chips, most of those years there were only 10-12 teams in the league and 8 of them made the playoffs, and he had a first round bye in most of those. He had to play like 8 games to win a ring, while the modern NBA has to play like 20 games. That's the difference. It's a lot harder to win a chip now. Russel had to play 7 teams, Lebron and Jordan had to play 28 teams. Russel had 2 rounds of playoffs, Lebron and Jordan had 4.

    Look at it this way:
if they were to face each other in a one-on-one game... Jordan has the defensive ability to dissect Lebron's offense...
on the contrary, Lebron's gruyere cheese defense is not enough to stop MJ's offensive abilities...
how do you stop someone who was the best offensive player for 10 straight seasons and the best defensive player for one season (a season in which he scored 35.1 ppg, one of the highest average in history) and every year was on the league's elite defensive team...
there is simply no way Lebron could beat him
Now, the facts and statistics say that MJ is the greatest... that is not up for discussion for those of us who saw him play and have seen Lebron (after watching MJ break the laws of gravity every night we were never impressed by Lebron) but I come back to the point... the statistics and the facts are there, but you only saw Lebron play and it is perfectly understandable that he is the player you like and that is fine...
especially now that you know the difference between being the best player on the planet (LJ) and being the greatest in all of history...
and rings don't always reveal something, Robert Horry has 7 rings, and that doesn't make him greater than Lebron and much less than Jordan.
MJ is considered the best, because he basically won everything there is to win:
the 1987 - 1988 season is considered statistically the best season for aa single player in history... that season MJ
    won
    the MVP of the league
the MVP of the all-star game
the slam dunk contest (two-time champion)
Leading scorer in the league (WITH THE HIGHEST PPG AVERAGE IN LEAGUE HISTORY) WITH 37.1 PPG...
IF HE DID THAT IN AN ERA WITH TERRIBLY ROUGH, PHYSICAL AND VIOLENT DEFENSES... imagine what he would do today with the lax and relaxed offenses that exist... defenses against which Lebron does not score even 27 ppg
wsadly... he only thing missing was the league championship

Imagine Bird's 3-point numbers if he grew up practicing shooting 3's since high school instead of his rookie year as a pro? The 3-point shot made its debut same year as Bird's rookie season. Back then 3-pointer was more of a strategic weapon...now, it's a joke. LeFraud ruined the game for me...watch his videos of him flopping and taking 5 steps but the refs are scared to call him for traveling. There's not 1 NBA team since Kobe and Shaq's Lakers that could hang with Barkley's or Dr J and Moses Malone's 76er's, Bird's Celtics, MJ's Bulls, the Bad Boy Pistons or Magic's Lakers...it was a completely different game. The only thing today's game and the games back then have in common is that the ball goes through a hoop.

You are correct about the practicing of the 3 pointer is because the 3 pointer became part of the game in 1980, a few years later in the college game. So all those player that grew up not having a 3 point line didn't have anything to practice for because it was a low percentage shot. It was the mid 90's that you had players that grew up practicing the 3 pointer. Big men never shot beyond 15 feet. today you see them shoot 3 pointers.

To answer your question. Bill has 11 rings, but here's the thing.
    1. He played in a league with only 8 teams and topped out at 14 teams (if Im not mistaken) as opposed to a 30 team league.
    2. He only made the All NBA FIRST team three times.
    3. He only made the All Defensive 1st team once.
    4. He was the All-Star game MVP once.
Now like MJ he was a 5x MVP however he never won a Finals MVP (granted this award started Bills last season in the league).
    MJ on the other hand....
    1. Competed in a larger league
    2. Made 10 All-NBA First teams.
    3. Made 9 All-NBA Defensive teams.
    4. Was the All-Star game MVP 3Xs.
These along with other accolades are what seperate MJ from Bill. It's more than just the championships.
Now in Bills defense, some of these awards were not around when played, but that smaller league is what hurts him.
Wilt is considered to have been the better player back then, but Russell was on the better team.

Also the regular season games played were less than 82 games a season. I am now complimenting yet another young man, young fan for being brutally honest and humble and genuine! Bravo young man! I span over 40 years of eyewitness to the sport of basketball, and I have been thrilled by Bird and Magic, and then came MJ and he BLEW ALL of us away and did it by doing things that NO ONE had EVER seen someone do before, and then came Kobe (And I think it's very sad that Kobe seems to have been forgotten) and Kobe was a far better shooter and clutch player than Lebron. And then there's Lebron who's dominance is based to 2 VERY obvious things: 1. He has played the vast majority of his career in a much softer NBA, with plenty of room, and NO hand checking AND, with easier access to a wide-open rim. And 2. He's simply and ONLY racked up numbers by playing longer than any other player in history, with a remarkable level of fitness allowing him to continue practically injury free, but that's also due to the game being FAR less physically challenging today.
The way Lebron flops, he would be laughed at in Bird, Magic, MJ and even Kobe's day because you were constantly being slashed, banged, bumped and slammed in the paint. It wasn't easy getting to the rim IT was nearly impossible to score before you were fouled, but MJ did it consistently and one of his trademarks WAS the AND-1!!!!

There is one player who is overlooked in this debate is Kobe Bean Bryant. I am not saying that Kobe is above Jordan by any means but, I do believe he is far above LeBron. Kobe was on par with his determination and drive to be the best player he could, hardest worker in practice, usually the first in and the last to leave, obsessed with winning games and titles, the individual accolades took care of themselves. There was no off season for Kobe he was always working and tinkering with his game to give himself that edge over his competition. I have seen Magic and Bird, Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron come into the league, and the previous 4 are far above LeBron. If Bird played now he would dominate as he did in the 80's along with Magic, MJ would average 45- 50 per game in todays era, Kobe played in both era's and was a dominant force as well. LeBron would be nothing more than a foot note to this era if any of the HOFG's that I just mentioned.

Jordan- 13 seasons played essentially yet 14 All Star Appearances.
That's because he made the All Star Team even when he only played 3 games prior to the All Star Game one season.
Who else makes the All Star Team playing only 3 regular season games prior?

I applaud you for your honesty and genuineness. It does hurt to be wrong for many. This is why many people, who know they are wrong double down. Cognitive dissonance is a real thing and it’s testament to your character sir. You have more integrity than Lebron.
