A knob, or at *least* two push-buttons with up/down on them. But those idiotic, finicky, unreliable, nearly unusable touch-sensitive slider thingies are THE WORST!
I much prefer that handle to adjust my seat. It's fast and easy. If it's a wheel I almost break my hand in 15 places trying to fit my hand there and then rotate the wheel 567 times.
I heard that japanese cars tend to have such levers, since can quite often sleep in their cars. You just pull the lever, recline all the way back and have an emergency bed! My cousin's 2006 Toyota Corolla has one. Much easier to handle than tightly fit rolling wheel.
LOL! My dad's old Volvo 700 series had one of those but at least the Swedes got it right: you barely had to rotate the knob to make the seat recline. I only had to turn it twice and the seat was almost flat. And it had massive "spokes" so you could turn it quickly after a quick stop at a drive-through for dinner when crossing a state on a 300-mile road trip.
1) The seat recline lever means that I can get to my desired position quickly, including a full recline. 2) Not enough buttons: too much screen reliance = eyes of road.
Plastic steering wheels that get hot in the sun and burn your hands. Touch screen only controls for common things like volume. Certain touchscreen functions not working while the car is moving. Lever-adjusted backrest is GREAT! I simply HATE having to twist that knob one million times to adjust my seat's backrest. A lever makes it precise enough and MUCH quicker.
I have 2 cars with the twist knobs and I just set it and forget it. I rarely adjust it because it's such a pain. My other cars have either electric, the lever adjustment, or none at all (1972 year old Pontiac).
Everyone: Plz fix the pit of doom Car manufacturers: Did you say add buttons? Add buttons to start your car, engage the parking brake, to move your seat, to adjust the climate control, to engage the ejector seat- Everyone: ...
to be fair, the pit of doom can't be fixed if you want to be able to adjust your seat. i feel the pain as well. i still have a SD card stuck in my car, just not in the writer.

Yeah. The dial is often really slow, hard to turn and just overall annoying. A well made handle is just much faster and easier to use especially if you share a car with someone that has a completely different seating position.
It beeps for a reason. You're not supposed to put heavy objects on the passenger seat. Put them on the floor or in the trunk where they belong and don't be lazy. This might save your life sometime.
Yea it beeps because it thinks it's a person not wearing a seatbelt not because it recognises a heavy object...God forbid my lunch and drink bottle kills me because I put it on my seat...
Bing Bing Bing Bing bingbingbingbingbingbingbigigigibibfigibigvi fucking hell enough already!!! It's even worse when you have a manual car as some of them beep at you even when you aren't moving because it can't tell if you're in gear or not. So even if you're sitting in the parking lot with your engine on it will beep at you.
Mercedes had a solution to the pit of doom as far back as the 80s. I drive a W124, and there's a little insert with interior colored fabric that slides between the transmission tunnel and the seat, and it slopes back, so if you don't catch anything you drop, it just gets nicely funneled to the floor behind the seat.

Missed placed horns. THIS. You have no idea how many times I accidently honked at people while trying some random buttons in my dad's Renault Laguna mk1. Just put it on the damn steering wheel and NOWHERE ELSE
This is the reason I couldn't get my first rental car moving in the first 5 minutes. Learning car had the stupid freaking switch which we never used. I'd still rather have a switch than a handbrake that's stuck under the arm rest though.
dzikra buying a telescoping magnetic tool as well as a flexible claw/pickup tool will save you hrs of potential hassle in situations like this or when something like a bolt or screw falls in your engine bay. There's also products on amazon made for catching items falling between the seats & center console.
Madmansmitty yea if you're not allowed to use your phone when driving why are you allowed to use a "tablet" i mean you can download games on some of them wtf
"oh no! we forgot to put a screen on it! and we have to ship in 2 days! ... wait, i have an idea" - Mercedes Benz Interior Designer circa 2015. Also how about the permanent cell phone holder that VW is installing on some of their models?
Integrated screens are much uglier. Screens that are seperate from the dashboard and can retract are way better.I wonder how could you not understand this simple things!
Just an random douche it may be different, but on my Kia cee'd the sport mode doesn't affect power, but the steering feeling. In economy mode the steering is super light and you don't feel connected to the road at all. In spelt mode you feel like you're driving a more traditional hydrolic power steering set up, with heavier steering, but feeling more connected to the wheels
That's why I avoid silver dashboards like the AIDS virus. Once shopped for a MINI and all the cars they sold had a silver or chrome plated dash. I refused to buy any so they strongly suggested I special order the car. Since an all-black dash was available, I got that. I'm glad I did. It really cuts down on glare when you don't want to wear sunglasses. I'm always losing my sunglasses anyway....
A true petrol-head The sun often reflects off the hood (not chrome) and kinda blinds me. Also the interior is all metal and vinyl which looks good but burns the heck outta you when you left it out in the sun for a while. They even had chrome heads on the engine lots of times back then.
When the drivers side is luxurious with all kinds of gadgets like electric seat recline, heated seat/wheel, and other fancy comfort gadgets while the passenger side is downright spartan.
UGU Zach as the only driver in the house, I don't car whats on the passenger seat. Or about rear legroom. If the kids don't like it, there is always the bus.
my biggest pet peeve is when the air condition vents are directly behind the steering wheel right where your hands are, so your hands get freezing cold no matter what the temperature of the rest of the car is
When I go to work I due to have extremely important papers with me that f####ng pit just swallow them whole, and then I must tell what happened to the papers and no one on my work is interested in cars.
The BMW infotainment screen isn't so bad in my eyes. Yes you hardly can call it good looking, but compared to the iPad somebody pinned on the dash with an old chewing gum you can find in a Mercedes it looks just fine.
TheClawGaming By your own logic the BMW is also bad because its literally a struck trapezoid tablet. The stuck in screens are fine... They just need to be implemented better... Like making them wider and frame less..... The one on the c class is actually nice... And has a floating effect which gives the cabin a nice touch and are closer to you so it's easier to read.
In all honesty, having a digital speedometer on my dash has been the biggest change to driving I've witnessed. You hardly ever look at RPM because you can hear it, and you hardly every look at the speedometer because the digital one just gives you a straight up number at a glance. :p
@@VoxelLoop yeah but for someone who drove their car a lot they don't even need to read the number they just look for a split second at the top of the needle and know how fast they are going instead of reading the digital number
That's the issue I have with the car brands: they're wording the ads to make the buyer think it's another "form" of leather when it's not leather at all. Example: BMW and MINI use the word "leatherette" to refer to vinyl! I was suspicious about this word and bought a car with fabric seats since it's almost always very hot where I live.
Mercedes 'Artico Leather' is a particularly brazen attempt. OK, it's a decent material (in some ways it's better than real leather), but it's NOT leather
The worst is a center Console that digs in to the side of your leg/knee when you rest it there. It makes the seat feel smaller and could easily be fixed with a concave peice of plastic instead of a flat knee hatchet.
2003-2007 Toyota vios no leg room because the center dashboard is too big. If I move the seat back, the steering is too far. If I get accident my knee will hit first (not safe). Next gen they fix it.
If it's in a performance car, there's no excuse. You wouldn't want your passengers to have headaches getting thrown around the cabin. Then you arrive at your destination and everyone is freaking mad at you...
I have to close all the passenger side vents on my car to get some REAL power from the ac vents. The ac in modern cars is so BAD compared to 15 years ago.
BMW takes No. 1 for ugly stuck on screens? Come on man, at least it's integrated in the overall line of the interior, not like the alien looking thing in Mercedes cars! I guess you can't discuss taste, right?
Guess that applies to the newest models. A 2011 C300 has a folding screen. So its cool looking yes, but what happens if the motor in it breaks and it wont open? Well there goes your radio, GPS, and other such things.
Lexus already used a solution for the "Pit of Doom",, they used it for 5 years or more. It's simply a small cushion that's fitted in between the seat and the hand rest while being attached to the seat so it moves with it without falling. It's black as the rest of the interior around it making it still looking nice (not noticeable) as it's functional as well.
Especially really cheap plastic wood like that of the 2004-2009 Vauxhall Astra and 2002-2005 Vectra. The aluminium trim wasn't much better in those cars...
Well it is still wood (veneer), just not solid wood, but then half of all wood furniture is not solid wood, but wood veneer on chipboard. Either way, proper wood trim still contains wood from a tree underneath the acrylic cover.
Not really interior more of a mechanical thing but sequential shifting with a automatic car. I'm tired of people saying "'my car is manual too" when they have the - & + shift on their shifter
Agree there, even though my car is auto with the tectonic gearbox i facepalm to those who say their auto is 'manual'... i don't see no clutch pedal so it aint no manual.
The 6 gear planetary on the 2016 Ford Focus has full manual control in the S mode, which gives good gear changes on demand, and automatic in the D mode, useful for effortless city driving. The best of both worlds.
Michael Feicht wait so we are dumb cause we are stating that its annoying that people say their car is 'manual too or 'can do both'' when it's clearly an automatic, auto transaxle or CVT? Anyway are you even a car person? Cause a car person wouldn't say 'it be good when the manual gearbox is gone'
I actually prefer the handle over the wheel for adjusting seats, they're quicker and easier to use, especially if there isn't a lot of space to stick your hand in and turn the wheel over and over again
One that annoys me is cars that are big enough to have 5 seats, but for whatever reason have only 4. I was in a VW Fox recently (hideous car) and that was the epitome of this problem. Inside it wasn’t much, if any, smaller than my Clio and had loads of space in the back, yet in between the 2 rear seats was a big plastic panel with a cup holder and some other pointless cubby hole, as opposed to the 5th seat that it so clearly could’ve accommodated. It has been a dealbreaker for me in the past. I was put off from buying a Panda 100 or a Swift Sport due to the removal of the 5th seat. I can accept it on high end sports cars, but small hatchbacks are supposed to be somewhat practical. So if they can accommodate 5 seats, please give them 5 seats!
CRVB7 Because people are very stupid dropping anything down the side of the seat, not even on purpose is entirely people own fault because they're stupid enough to not look where they put their stuff.
The lever is very fast and adaptable if you have multiple ppl driving the car, or want to lay on the chair for a bit The knob is precise , and has more position to choose, it is however much slower than the lever
Steven Zephycrs true, what makes the lever type even more useful is that one can actually pull on the lever and adjust the seat, rather than having to keep turning
Why would you have to change your seating position quickly, once the seat is dialed in it doesn't need changing, if you want to recline more that can be done at normal pace.
@@DutchPyro2011 my w126 certainly doesn't have that, but I don't think the w140 did either. Also, how would it let the seat slide freely without pulling on the fabric?
The last one lexus has done something about well in the gs model they have, they have put these extra cushions on the side so anything your drop lands on it so it's easy to just pickup what you've dropped
I agree that the seat dial is terribly slow. I hated it in my VW except that it gave excellent adjustments with no preset detents which is my main gripe with lever types.
Yes! My cars electric but truck has the lever, its great i can go to any position instantly. The dial usually put hand in awkward position, pinched between panels/seat, and takes forever! If you cant use the lever you shouldn't drive, and should go to the gym to work out your abs if they cant hold up your upper body for 1 second.
I am a driver, but I don't really bother adjusting the seat (I find that my seat is positioned quite comfortably, so there's no need for me to adjust it in the first place), since all drivers should worry about their driving and also avoiding all the idiots driving on the road
The pit of doom: in the old Mercedes W124 they had a flap there - so nothing fell into the pit. I think that in those days, mid 80s when this car was designed - they took a lot of efford to think of the small details and they tried to make a car as long lasting and useable as possible.
Use the name of Jesus in any other way then praise and prayer is swearing. I notice this change on TV back in the day. They will beep out the F-word but not Jesus Christ or Goddamn it. lol Crazy I know.
BRING BACK THE BENCH SEAT! I have fond memories of playing rock, paper, scissors with my friends to decide who would have the gear shift lever in their crotch when riding in my buddy's truck. Good times.
once i forget my wallet and needed gas the pit of doom saved me he sollowd so much cash from me i did a ful tank and had a change but i had to take the seat off lol
I owned an 05' Legacy that had a ashtray in front of the shifter. I guess the previous owner stored spare change in there but it had a major design fault because when I disassembled part of the dash to access the air filter there were like 30+ coins stuck underneath the trim around the shifter. Removed as many of the coins as I could, and when I put it all back together it became much easier to shift 😂
the manual seat recliner handle is the best imo. the wheel is the same as opening the lid of a tight jar, i cant imagine leaning over to the passenger side to help someone
I agree with most of this list, but it's 100% wrong about the seat recline handles. Its so much faster and easier than rotating a dial. The seat reclining knob is one of the few things I dislike about my VW.
Same here. If you have a decent idea of where the seat should normally be for you and you have a seat recline handle, you can get it most of the way there in no time flat.
Yeah, but then we get all those butthurt people whining that those crappy breakable parts are there for "safety." My dad used to own a Chevy Impala and the a/c unit had metal levers. Never heard of anyone getting hurt by those in an accident.
I'm betting they designed it that way. There are a few brands that do strange things for good reason. One example: the MINI Cooper, the rear cargo cover had a strange shape on the net area where the grab handle was. The reason is so you can remove it and store it in a pair of notches behind the front seats.
@Captain Insano Shows no mercy they simulate a good engine sound through the speakers, but when you go outside the only thing you hear is a normal engine. This is one example: www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/bmw-m5-generates-fake-engine-noise-using-stereo/
@Captain Insano Shows no mercy He means exhaust. I experienced it on a Kia Optima GT-Line, it's quite a weird feeling. Like playing a game but it's a real car, cos the sound is from inside not outside. It sounded nice but I'd rather have the real V6 not fake V6 sounds. They even put a fake V6 shaped engine cover to hide the I4 underneath. 1.6 L I4 pretending to be a 3.2L V6 :(
@Captain Insano Shows no mercy Radio on or off you would hear it, removing a fuse would probably disable the speakers, I believe it needs the ECU programmed to disable it. I've got BMW 323i and that has 5 real cylinders making a lovely sound the natural way.
just screens in general, especially dashboard screens instead of a physical speedo and rev meter. Hate the screens they put in all cars today. Why do they do it?!
I don't mind touchscreens for multimedia and navigation but, I hate it when it's the only way to control the AC/heating and other important stuff, I'm looking at you Tesla
To have a stuck-on screen is actually a quite smart design choice. Because infotainment systems date very soon and screens start to look pretty old soon, it's better to somehow exclude and separate the screen from the rest of the dashboard, as though it is just an added feature.
The lever under the seat, i was in first gear and wanted to put my seat back i pulled it up, it threw me back into the back passengers and we shot forward 😂 i couldnt reach the steering wheel and we were just driving down the road with no one at the wheel i had to take my seat belt off and push the clutch down to go to neutral
only water temp gauge, because german engeners think it's enough that your water it's on 90 degrees ... and you don't drive a passat as a maniac... if you want to drive sport buy a sport car wich automaticly has oil temp gauge. P.S. if water gauge is over 90 degrees , you don't need to know what is your engine oil temp because it's to damn high:)
Soft Paint. I think this is the right english word for it😄 The paint thats in a Audi A4 B6 on the Lightswitch or Clima buttons witch always goes of after the time. 🤦♀️
You can't find any used VAG car with soft-touch which doesn't look completely fucked up. I was watching around 10 different Golfs when I bought mine and every one of them had an ugly scratched light switch. A friend of mine scraped the stuff completely off in his BMW and now it looks like it would be "right".
Nissan Diesel, no, you haven't seen bad until you drive a Dodge/Chrysler. That stuff comes off EVERYWHERE. The cheapskates even put it on the steering wheel! I once drove home after baking in the sun for an hour in traffic and my hands had little black flecks on them. I realized it had come from the steering wheel! Had to waste $12 on a fabric cover for the car so there goes any savings they got out of using that crap. Will never buy Chrysler again.
I think piano black plastic looks good. I wish more car makers just used metal, but I think piano black plastic is a good when it doesn’t have metal. It’s the horrible GM plastic in the late 1990s and early 2000s all over the vehicle that looks REALLY cheap(early 2000s Chevrolet Suburban for example)
Finger prints, micro scratches and swirles, and dust is really viseable on high gloss piano black surfaces which makes it the most unpractical finnish to have inside a car luckly you can choose something else in most cases.
I love how Lexus has that pullout thing to hide some buttons you usually never use. And i hate how some ''premium'' brands have the large screen as an option. So when you have the small screen ou have huge black plastic around it

Everyone: Plz fix the pit of doom
Car manufacturers: Did you say add buttons? Add buttons to start your car, engage the parking brake, to move your seat, to adjust the climate control, to engage the ejector seat-
Everyone: ...
to be fair, the pit of doom can't be fixed if you want to be able to adjust your seat. i feel the pain as well. i still have a SD card stuck in my car, just not in the writer.
@@alvachan88 Come on, an SD card? A car would be the last place handle something that small and valuable.

it didn't contain valuable information. my dashcam wasn't working properly and i was troubleshooting. the slot wasn't spring loaded so i had to use my fingernails to pull the card out and well, it barely moved till it just rolled down my centre console into oblivion. that's how things always drop, never on the seat or in the cup holder, always all the way down where you have to remove the seat to be able to find it. even shining a torch doesn't show me anything.

A very recent thing: Virtual touch buttons...
That is a thing no one asked for. Why do manufacturers do this? Ugh
Exactly this, I don't want to have to take my eyes off the road to make sure that I pressed a button. no one ever asked for virtual buttons, they just sort of came into existence on their own
I think it's because they are cheaper to make than physical buttons. I can't even stand virtual ones on kitchen stoves
They do look good when done right though
Also those volume sliders in recent Lincolns... Ugh
I hate it when the instrument cluster ( especially the speedometer) is placed in the centre of the dash board rather than behind the steering wheel

When you put a bag in the passenger seat and it beeps :(
It beeps for a reason. You're not supposed to put heavy objects on the passenger seat. Put them on the floor or in the trunk where they belong and don't be lazy. This might save your life sometime.
Yea it beeps because it thinks it's a person not wearing a seatbelt not because it recognises a heavy object...God forbid my lunch and drink bottle kills me because I put it on my seat...

you've clearly never had a car with round seat adjustment knobs. I still have fucking nightmares.
Mercedes had a solution to the pit of doom as far back as the 80s. I drive a W124, and there's a little insert with interior colored fabric that slides between the transmission tunnel and the seat, and it slopes back, so if you don't catch anything you drop, it just gets nicely funneled to the floor behind the seat.

chrome on the dash= the sun in the eys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's why I avoid silver dashboards like the AIDS virus. Once shopped for a MINI and all the cars they sold had a silver or chrome plated dash. It really cuts down on glare when you don't want to wear sunglasses. I'm always losing my sunglasses anyway....

The stuck in screens are fine... They just need to be implemented better... Like making them wider and frame less..... The one on the c class is actually nice... And has a floating effect which gives the cabin a nice touch and are closer to you so it's easier to read.

speedometers can get inaccurate if exposed to intense shaking from dirt roads
In all honesty, having a digital speedometer on my dash has been the biggest change to driving I've witnessed. You hardly ever look at RPM because you can hear it, and you hardly every look at the speedometer because the digital one just gives you a straight up number at a glance. :p
Digital speedometers are actually MORE precise than analog.

how about PU leather being advertised as genuine leather? that is pretty shit.
I think that car brands should NOT be allowed to use the word "leatherette." It's a phony name for cheap ass vinyl.
OK, it's a decent material (in some ways it's better than real leather), but it's NOT leather
i heard that genuine is grade of leather, one of the lowest grads
Do you know what genuine leather is?
In my opinion, Mercedes Benz has the worst screen on earth.
The one one the new GLE isn't too bad.
But bmw is pretty cool actually

My last car was a C350 and although it was generally a very good car, the screen was indeed pretty awful.
What about not having a handbreak but instead a foot break
Mike Arredondo or that stupid electronic piece of shit
My dad's Kia has an electronic switch instead.
Footbrake is gonna ... break your foot in a front crash.
Mercedes had that, im not sure if they still do
It's made for Europeans who have a physical handbreak used by the hand, or an automatic handbreak
Next gen they fix it.
no grab handles for passengers is STUPID!!!
If it's in a performance car, there's no excuse. You wouldn't want your passengers to have headaches getting thrown around the cabin. Then you arrive at your destination and everyone is freaking mad at you...

Even worse, some old Pontiac vents. They work, if you count turbine as a function...
kanishq ruhil when the fresh air vent handle breaks off. Oh wait old car problems.
I have to close all the passenger side vents on my car to get some REAL power from the ac vents. The ac in modern cars is so BAD compared to 15 years ago.
largol33t1 my car doesn't even have A/C it sucks when you open the vent and a bunch of leaves and acorns blow into your car.
Have you even looked at the Mercedes ones
car should not have any screens just dials
ExtremeDeathman bmw should take some design advice from lexus
The biggest offender on my opinion is Mercedes and Audi
Lexus already used a solution for the "Pit of Doom",, they used it for 5 years or more.
It's simply a small cushion that's fitted in between the seat and the hand rest while being attached to the seat so it moves with it without falling.
It's black as the rest of the interior around it making it still looking nice (not noticeable) as it's functional as well.
Fake stitching, like what the hell dude

Fake wood panel that is just stuck on plastic.
Especially really cheap plastic wood like that of the 2004-2009 Vauxhall Astra and 2002-2005 Vectra.
The aluminium trim wasn't much better in those cars...
Especially when they put it on the exterior of the car
Well it is still wood (veneer), just not solid wood, but then half of all wood furniture is not solid wood, but wood veneer on chipboard. Either way, proper wood trim still contains wood from a tree underneath the acrylic cover.

I actually prefer the handle over the wheel for adjusting seats, they're quicker and easier to use, especially if there isn't a lot of space to stick your hand in and turn the wheel over and over again
If I could fish out all the coins from down the side of my seat I'd probably have enough money to retire.

One thing that annoys me about interiors is when they put cupholders on the back of the glovebox lid... And then don't make the glovebox big enough.

The knob is precise , and has more position to choose, it is however much slower than the lever
Steven Zephycrs true, what makes the lever type even more useful is that one can actually pull on the lever and adjust the seat, rather than having to keep turning

I can't find the perfect position with a lever because it only holds at every 5 degrees or some shit.
Feels like 10 times a day when there is a lever because it never stays where I wanted it to be. They should make the seat dials faster.

I think that in those days, mid 80s when this car was designed - they took a lot of efford to think of the small details and they tried to make a car as long lasting and useable as possible.

once i forget my wallet and needed gas the pit of doom saved me he sollowd so much cash from me i did a ful tank and had a change but i had to take the seat off lol
In my cheap ass Peugeot with the handle you either sit bolt upright or lying down flat. Maybe that’s just French engineering

3:46 AUTOMATIC GEARBOXES!!!
Crappy feeling levers and dials
Tom Lohnes YES
Especially since a good knob or button only costs a few bucks per piece
Yeah, but then we get all those butthurt people whining that those crappy breakable parts are there for "safety." My dad used to own a Chevy Impala and the a/c unit had metal levers. Never heard of anyone getting hurt by those in an accident.
Actually on E46 I often use the space under the hand rest to hold my coffee. It fits perfectly and the box is deep enough to hold it in place
I'm betting they designed it that way. There are a few brands that do strange things for good reason. One example: the MINI Cooper, the rear cargo cover had a strange shape on the net area where the grab handle was. The reason is so you can remove it and store it in a pair of notches behind the front seats.
You have e46 with cup holders under the arm rest! Some have some space there to put coins in and others have a phone there but some have cup holders
As a mk1 focus owner, I can say that this is the most relatable video ever. 3 of the 5 things on this list apply to my car.
The crown jewels:
©Fake escape sound through the speakers (just hear this fake V8 sound...)
©Low resolution screens (some times my 10year tablet have better resolution that most of modern cars)
©Huge screen frames (yes Mercedes I'm talking to you)
©Not dedicated climate and volumen dials
I've got BMW 323i and that has 5 real cylinders making a lovely sound the natural way.
touchscreens...
AMEN! to that.
Dial and display = best way
just screens in general, especially dashboard screens instead of a physical speedo and rev meter. Hate the screens they put in all cars today. Why do they do it?!
Peter Lustig i
I don't mind touchscreens for multimedia and navigation but, I hate it when it's the only way to control the AC/heating and other important stuff, I'm looking at you Tesla
Fake leather that disintigrates after a few years. I'm looking at you, Honda.
😂😂😂
Oof
And Ford
Cars with high quality materials and ugly pieces of plastic trim on the outside and inside of the car.
*cough* Volkswagen with that pleather shit *cough*
I like to have too many buttons,, it makes me feel like I'm in a space battle ship
Porsche does this the best with buttons running all the way down the center tunnel towards the armrest.
ikr that's why i love my saab
Yes, more buttons PLEASE!
Will_Lammas ... Maybe dont move the seats while driving...
icndjfk nsbdbd yeah tbh it was a stupid mistake but when youre not thinking its easily done 😂
I almost put my manual into "racing mode" on the highway today xD
Trust me the grinding gears didnt sound nice
icndjfk nsbdbd oh god 😂 what car do you have???
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
no engine heat indicator in vw :/ it's so absurb
abdullah kesmenoglu Wait there's no water temp gauge? And I thought not having a tach, oil pressure or ammeter factory was bad.
only water temp gauge, because german engeners think it's enough that your water it's on 90 degrees ... and you don't drive a passat as a maniac... if you want to drive sport buy a sport car wich automaticly has oil temp gauge. P.S. if water gauge is over 90 degrees , you don't need to know what is your engine oil temp because it's to damn high:)
Gustav II Adolf on passat b6 there is no oil temp gauge
They’re bound to explode regardless of engine temp so it wasn’t needed
Had to pause it just to make sure it wasn't a real credit card you put in the pit of doom. Could of done with a coffee machine for the kitchen :/
I love the big 8 inch infotainment from BMW. It was actually the reason I bought the one that had the bigger instead of the small one🤷♂️
Soft Paint. I think this is the right english word for it😄
The paint thats in a Audi A4 B6 on the Lightswitch or Clima buttons witch always goes of after the time. 🤦♀️
MARTEY My E46 has that shit and 17 years later, all my panels are duo tone because some of it came off 😡
That's VW quality for you.
That fake soft touch easy-peel stuff is awful though. What's wrong with a little functional hard plastic?
Same in my Saab 9-3. The AUX button on the stereo are white 😂
It’s the horrible GM plastic in the late 1990s and early 2000s all over the vehicle that looks REALLY cheap(early 2000s Chevrolet Suburban for example)
those
finger marks will change your mind
Finger prints, micro scratches and swirles, and dust is really viseable on high gloss piano black surfaces which makes it the most unpractical finnish to have inside a car luckly you can choose something else in most cases.
Most of my friends have a bmw. They don't even know what the buttons do😂😅😂😂
Neena Sahi you must be in LA
Smack - Home no I am in India
lmao - so your story is true 😂
Neena Sahi ok
Neena Sahi same my uncle has a 2015 m235i and he still don't know what the buttons do 😅😅😅
I prefer the lever than the dial, to adjust the seat!! I hate the dial, it takes ages to recline
Having cheap 5 dollar vanity mirrors on the visor. It’s maddening. I feel like if I tap it, the whole visor will fall off.
I miss "cockpit" style wraparound consoles like in the early 90s Thunderbird. Didn't have to reach as much for climate controls or radio
Isaac O'Keefe Agree. The Alfa 159 had it and Saab 95 aswell.
YES MATE!
Isaac O'Keefe ~ my saab 93 turbo convertable isnt too bad on that. Definitely function over form with them.
Isaac O'Keefe yes, like the supra and celica, S 2000 etc.
Isaac O'Keefe yessss my Grand Prix has that and I love it
I hate that the interiors of the majority of modern cars are filled with plastic.
If they made them with anything else, then all cars would be really heavy or sky rocket in price then u would still be complaining
Robbie Elvin he wants it made of solid gold I think
I love how Lexus has that pullout thing to hide some buttons you usually never use. And i hate how some ''premium'' brands have the large screen as an option. So when you have the small screen ou have huge black plastic around it
