I know some people don’t like the Hyrule Warriors original music because of tracks like this since “they’re not from Zelda” or whatever but I have to disagree. I don’t care if it’s not Zelda enough because it’s redefining what Zelda could be using a warriors-like format while still remaining true to the Zelda series somewhat. Also I like hard rock. That might also add to why I like this.
This game was technically my introduction to the Zelda Franchise, unless you wanna count being a Sheik main in smash 4. The zelda franchise topped the PS2 God of war franchise fairly quickly.
i absolutely adore hyrule warriors's take on a zelda story, making it more about the large scale conflicts than just the stuff with link, and the music sells it even more, such a fucking good game.
To be honest, Age of Calamity didn't appeal to me much but this game has been on my mind for years and I eventually got it last week and I'm obsessed with it, I love it to death, the characters are so much varied, the animations are cool, i love the fanservice of thise game and the music is lit. I know the game is like a glorified wet-dream in which people from different point in the timeline meet each other and fight armies of enemies but in a good way. The costumes and movesets are so well detailed and fit their characters so much. I LOVE using Fi because she dances the same way and moves around the exact same way she does in SS; Midna uses her own wolf and her hair hand to attacks and whe she's in her twili form, she uses a mirror like the mirror of twilight and she is UNSTOPPABLE. The amount of pleasure you feel when so many enemies are concentrated and you kill an insane amount, omg, i love this game
Only problem with this one is you can't try to 100% it, it's awful just grinding for hundreds of hours, age of calamity is a nice solid 80-90 hours to 100% and not over 1000 hours
Im having a Musou phase recently. Playing One Piece warriors 4, Beserk and Hyrule warriors. This game is very fun. Repetitive like all musou games but they put so much passion in this project. Love it!
@@VoiceFGC it had WAY less characters and playstyles than the first Hyrule Warriors, the enmies barely did anything (like where is the fun in a musou if you don't have to protect the bases you conquered?). And the fact that the game was said to be a prequel to BotW and suddenly turned into an alternate timeline shit because they didn't want a bad ending was kinda boring too. And like you said, the framerate was not good either.
i was so disappointed when AoC was announced. I have been wanting a hyrule warriors sequel since I played the wii u version, and seeing that we got AoC instead...yeah. for what it's worth, I think AoC was very cool with how it was designed and pushed the stagnation of the warriors style gameplay in a new direction, but it ended up being underbaked without being fleshed out as it could have been, and the absolute abysmal performance made it so terrible to play (the fact this was never fixed and still has a price tag of $80???) i tried the demo and couldn't get past the first 20 minutes, the gameplay felt clunky, the framerate was abysmal and it just wasn't fun like the og hyrule warriors was, its a shame we got AoC instead of an actual hyrule warriors 2
Hyrule Warriors the best part of the game was the music I swear the game overall was mediocre at best true it has highlights but it DEFINITELY was a low point in way for the Zelda series except the music and the flash.
I mean, it's got the Zelda name, but I don't consider it part of the Zelda franchise -- I consider it part of the Warriors franchise, and by that metric, it delivers quite well. The only thing missing that I think would complete it is a _true_ Free Mode that lets you pick the stage, enemies, allies and victory/defeat conditions.
@@CoralCopperHead it indeed it's part of the warriors franchise I believe, bc even nintendo don't consider it being part of the Zelda franchise (or... it isn't part of the Zelda timeline)
As a zelda fan who never played a warriors game before this blew all my expectations away. So much that all warriors after the original hyrule warriors were are huge let down for me.

All I have to say is that this soundtrack is leagues greater than Age of Calamity's.
Agreed. I absolutely love the music in this game

this game will always be better than age of calamity and i still play this till this day
AoC really was super underwhelming to me, but it was mainly the constant frame drops that killed me with that game.
