Saw them last night at the quarry venue (FirstBank Amphitheatre) just south of Franklin, TN. An awesome performance in a magical setting. The acoustics were fabulous and the band's energy was off the charts!
Jimmy Pankow is the Extraordinarily Talented composer of " The Ballet" at age 22 . This is a classical work of musical art and I commend him for his performance along with the still performing original members of Chicago, Robert Lamm and Lee Loughnane, along with the newer supporting members. Love this performance and Thank you for your work.
Sad that Chicago is now 3 original bandmembers away from being Leonid and Friends. 😞 I, however, love that Robert, Lee, and Jimmy are still kickin' major arse! 🤜🤛 They still sound great and I still particularly love their earlier albums in which they demonstrated that there were no comparable bands with their kinds of composition, arranging, and performance skills with such an incredible cohesion of sound. They just absolutely killed and nobody could rival them!
Just saw Chicago at MGM National Harbor. The songs are legendary and timeless. Hadn't seen them since the 70s-80s. It's not the same as CTA, but they still put on a great show.
@@Tvj_films8452I grew up in the 80s when Cetera and Foster brought Chicago back to life again. Then I listened to their earlier work, I love all the eras of Chicago. I just wished they could've kept it going in the 1990s.
For those who call them a cover because they only have 3 original members the Eagles who I love only have one and The Doobie Brothers are currently touring with only one, but The Music is legendary and as long as they play it I am buying tickets!!
That is a really tough comparison lol. I was pretty moved and impressed, didn't think anyone could fill those shoes. I want his vocal spray. Glad you enjoyed!!!!
This version seems much like a lounge band. I saw them in 2017 when they had Keith Howland, Tris Imboden, Jeff Coffey and Lou Pardini. They were great. And of course, over the years many have come and gone. But now----they seem to be missing something
@@davidutnik You're right. But I saw them in Sep of 17 and they were great, and they had none of those guys. And of the ones you mentioned, the two that mattered are Cetera and Kath. I'd say that Imboden was a better drummer than Seraphine and Ray Herrmann is certainly as good as Parazaider.
Can't respect the revolving door. Deep love for even the Keith howland years. Tris. Of course Jason. Bill. Even Dawayne.. such a badass. But I can't keep up with who is playing guitar these days. Or even singing. Playing drums? Keyboards? Can't care anymore guys. Sorry
I've seen Chicago at least 4 times....have always loved them ❤

That song has more emotion than anything I've ever experienced. So beautiful!
The Ballet (Make Me Smile) is amazing. Thanks for posting.
WOW THE TRUMPET PLAYER VOCALS IS ON FIRE
an original member
lee 78 years young
Fantastic! I have tickets for Houston show at Smart Finacial center in September!!!
One of my favourite Chicago tracks of all time 👍
It melts my heart. It's so good.
Amazing! thanks for sharing!
Love the music
Nothing makes me feel as much emotion as Chicago. Glad you enjoyed!!
AWESOME!!!!
Long live Robert, Lee and Jimmy..

Amen 🙏 Chicago VI was my first album. Collected everyone since then. 50 years has flown by so fast.

Chicago is great. My favorite era was the Cetera and David Foster days. Those songs were the best.
You must be too young for their 60s and 70s work?
@@bertbecker7532 haha.

MY # 1....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant
That lead singer is wonderful.
sounds alot like Peter Cetera

Well said!!!!!
You're not allowed to like this current band because a bunch of non-musicians who couldn't play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, said so.
Lee is gettin much better player over the years 👍🏻
I count 2 horns and a keyboardist, this is all that is left here of Chicago, no replacements can bring them back
Indudablemente los mejores metales del Rock
Although I didn't care much for him at first, Neil Donnell really gets it done on those Cetera-esque vocals! The guy can bring it bigtime!

Yes! Plus, Neil seems like such a down-to-earth guy! @@JenniferApproved
Chicago was never the same after Terry Kath died, but if they are having fun, good for them.
I seen Chicago and Blue Oyster Cult which opened for BOC. in 73.B'Ham Alabama What a show..2 for price of 1... Tickets then$6:50. 😎✝️✌️☮️🇺🇸🎶🎶🎶
Opened for Chicago ☮️
I saw the original Chicago 3 times!! Same with The Beach Boys 😎
OMG I would love to see the Beach Boys and see Chicago again. Finally so many good shows this year.
The show just keeps moveing on not the same but amazing run anyway keep it up as long as possible.
С таким звуком это дескридитация не только этих музыкантов,но и музыки вообще! Тагил рулит
Tribute band after Terry Kath passing

Pete Cetera!🎤
That something is Kath, Cetera, Seraphine and Parazaider.

Just watched them on pbs July 4th show..looked like members of a Broadway play
Who are the personnel in this show?
Chicago died with kath
Tribute band. It's like The Beatles if the only original member was Ringo on the drums.......
