6:15 - just a sidenote here, the boss doesn't always tether to the leaping one-two paw clone first, it could copy the quadruple crossing + nailchippers first; it's 50/50
Oh thank god. I feared you stopped making guides. I was really thinking to myself "I wish MTQ had a guide for these raids, they are so easy to follow and understand v.v"
already cleared once but i always like watching these just to A) contribute a well-deserved view to the video metrics, and B) see any differences in strats or any little tricks to make a mechanic easier to think about for reclears
I want to try Savage Raids for the first time, but I have no friends to play with, and my social anxiety makes me terrified of letting down my group and getting yelled at
Party Finder can be rough. My advice is to either find/set up a “fresh prog” group on PF, and to remember that everyone is learning. However long it takes /you/ to learn the fight and your responsibilities won’t be the same as how long it takes someone else to-and that’s okay! Savage raids are supposed to be tough and engaging, but more importantly, fun. It can be demoralizing at times to realize a pull ended in a wipe because of something you did, but there will be hundreds of pulls where someone ELSE’S mistakes leads to a wipe, and you’ll barely remember them at all. The sense of personal responsibility can be weighty, but it’s worth taking the leap, especially while the first tier of raids is current. The mechanics tend to be simpler than that of savage fights five through twelve, and much easier to learn comparatively. If you’re still feeling anxious, there are more ways to prepare before stepping into the instance! You’re already watching guides-but there’s better gear to get, material to meld to it, and raid food and potions to obtain. The food is pretty much expected, even when progging and expecting to die, as the extra vitality can compensate for small mistakes or gear discrepancies. Once you’re satisfied with your gear, Dawntrail has its own version of Stone, Sky, and Sea unlockable through Solution Nine. If you then speak to the assistant near the Outskirts, you can select a fight to check your damage output for. If you can kill the training dummy within the time limit, you’re doing the minimum required for your role over that duration of the fight. Looking up clear videos for your role and identifying mechanics and execution is good for memorization, too! There are other details about getting into Savage like the jargon that people use to denote strats in Party Finder descriptions, but this comment is long enough. Savage raiding is one of the most fulfilling parts of FFXIV-and you really come to appreciate the game balance because of it. All classes are tuned to be viable for this content, and it encourages you to get full use out of your job’s toolkit. It’s definitely worth looking into. Wishing you luck! It’s not as scary as it seems, as someone who didn’t start savage raiding until recently. There’s no replacement for hands on experience, though-so don’t let your nerves get the best of you! Happy raiding!
Did a lot of brute-forcing this fight when it first came out, but holy shit staying in the corner of a tile so you don't have to worry about what attack is coming out is really smart!
Hello, I just have a question, are you planning on putting out a guide on the Abyssal Fracture? I love your guides more than any others, but I can't seem to find it~
Your summoner using large egi is making me so nervous, I went into m1 normal for the first time after not using smn for ages and resetting my ui so egis were large just hit 100 on smn so was so happy to see my new summon. ……..I got shouted at allot
They both have different mechanics. I'd say understanding the squares mechanics (floor,) the basic mechanics they both share, like where the boss is going with tether and which side it will hit - plus understanding the mech that throws you to another square. If you can understand and execute those while dodging and not falling off of a square that's a good start!
Can Someone Clear something up. How many Items drop in M1S if no one has clear? I know you get two chests, but is this two items a chest and one of each accessory? Thanks in advance for the responses.
You get 4 items, one coffer for each accessory (so only one ring) also m1s is strange in that instead of having two or one chest like other savages it always has one chest but the number of rewards in it changes so 4 items if no clears
I hate this group shit, I miss the Titan Ex days. I get they want to make the content harder, but to me this doesn’t make it harder it makes it more annoying
cringe, content is out for weeks now, you missed your chance, raining cats is already outdated, you to M TTT and have the rest of the party stack outside

Your guides always just make sense to me, ty!

Dear god I am so happy you are back!!!
finally the guide that im waiting for ❤
As I am starting M1. It's like like MTQ knew and was like 'don't worry, I got you'
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS WOOHOOO
Finishing the video with a 1% wipe is chefs kiss.
You're back. Welcome.
Her voice is so soothing.
when you say the boss will target the sould shade add at 6:18, does she actually move there or does the tank have to take her there?
The tank has to move the boss there, so pre-positioning between the two potential options is important.
Ok thanks for clarifying
Hello, I just have a question, are you planning on putting out a guide on the Abyssal Fracture? I love your guides more than any others, but I can't seem to find it~
You're like a year late on that one

For egi size? Can't they change that on their end?
I have never done savage, been to afraid of pissing others off should i be flawless with the base variant before attempting the extreme?

The part that I have most trouble with is remembering her clone patterns after the 1st mouser. Which is a pretty big problem as a tank.
Fc leader basically kidnapped me to do this yesterday. And did i mess up. But think i see how to deal with the clones and the stored 2 paw attacks now
Im still confused 😭
MTQ back, boys!

So many attacks so confused 😢
Raise your hand if you killed your entire static by landing on a broken tile 0/
Yay yay yay!
every other guide doesnt make sense anymore
Athena Field
Did....did she just kill the whole raid LOL
Oh my god
Do you play on a 4k monitor? How does the game look at that resolution?
Queenie Plaza
IKE!!!!!
also return of the queen
I can finally start this fight, the ultimate guide is here.
Yeah joonbob put his video out just a little while ago
I hate this group shit, I miss the Titan Ex days. I get they want to make the content harder, but to me this doesn’t make it harder it makes it more annoying
OMG you’re back making guides now I can stop watching hector
Nah this is ridiculous guess the endgame isnt for me. Memorizing a 9 min video just to clear one stage is crazy good luck to you all
waiting M2S
Young Joseph Wilson Scott Gonzalez Michelle
Thompson Dorothy Walker Nancy Moore Cynthia
Wilson Donald Hernandez Karen Rodriguez Jennifer

Dude, MTQ has a small child and probably has other things to worry about than making TH-cam guides.
Your comment is cringe 😂
