      Bro same exact bike, first trail bike and I was new so the worker suggested the size I got (I think L) and I said "I can't even touch the ground" he was like yeah dunny

    The only bad thing is that for city riding its better to have more of the feet in contact with the ground. Really helps to minimize injuries if fall for any reason (except being hit).

    My bike is probably a good height but I can’t really touch the ground unless I go very high on my toes

    I adjusted my saddle and i go faster and more comfortable on my new trek fx3. But i have i bit of an annoying creak coming from the seat post now - how do i fix that?

      If you have a creak coming from your seatpost, try removing the post and applying assembly grease to the seat tube!

      @@trekbikes hi i didn't have any grease as i am new to cycling. I took it into my local Trek dealer and they couldn't solve the issue. So I left the bike with them to identify the sound and they found something wrong with the rear wheel and replaced it under warranty.
      Bike is barely 2 months old and surprised something went wrong already considering I keep this bike in mint condition.

    Either im too tall or bike to short. Seat at max height my legs are still bent at bottom.

    I did it but when i went outside to try my bicycle i went as fast as i could and i could'nt belive it i go faster then before but when i tried to turn i lost control and i hit the neighbours car and broke the back lights and felt on my shoulder and now it hurts me as hell

    My wrist hurt when i ride on the dualsport 2. I think i need to play with the saddle height a little more? Do gloves help with the wrists?

      Yes, gloves can help absorb vibrations and in return help the wrists

    What if the seat is too high, but won't go any lower? I have a Marlin 4. Do you recommend cutting the post?

      You can cut standard seatposts if the saddle needs to go lower than what the post allows!

      just make it perfectly level and make small adjustments based on your comfort while riding.

      dropper post is one of the best new inventions on bikes. I got it few months back and I love it.

      Hex keys are not specialized tools. Most ikea furniture comes with a 4mm hex key. You most likely have one laying around in a drawer somewhere.
      Torque wrenches are a little less common but still a really cheap easy to find hand tool.

    I don't feel comfortable if I can't put my feet flat on the ground I don't feel safe sitting that high can only touch tippy toes That's ridiculous and unsafe.

      You are supposed to slide yourself forward off the seat when stopped. Practice doing that until you feel comfortable.
