It's definitely one of my favourite systems I've created! Since playing Oblivion back in the day it's been a bit of a dream of mine to create a system like it!

Hello, all of the animations in this video are from the Unreal Engine Marketplace, some of which I then edited on the animation file itself in-engine using keyframes!
Your melee work is very impressive, I think your passion is obvious. I don't know if you're already planning on making a first person medieval adventure sort of game, but you could make something really incredible with that talent. Awesome stuff
I was originally working on the first person medieval game as a main project, but now I'm working full time in a studio (in level design) it's taken quite a backseat! I think if I return to the first person system I'll probably start over as even though it's a good fun system to play, it's not as scalable or modular as I'd want to now do! Maybe in a few months I'll release what I already had of the first person medieval game just for fun/feedback, and work from there :)
@@AngusMacnaughtonGamesIm working on a concept idea for a game that would be scalable, think like the cuteness of valheim with castle block building but with super gore pvp melee, survival elements and a capture the throne mini game that all the clans fight for, monthly seasonly wipes with rewards, maybe even do a medieval battle royal game mode, call it war of the thrones or some shit, been a dream idea of mine
You could make a 1v1 multiplayer game with those pov sword fighting mechanics, either drop it for cheap on as many devices as you can, or go free to play and let people buy weapon skins and armor, I promise you people would eat that shit up, and then you could fund a much larger project. idk, it’s not my business and I know Jack shit about game development but just an idea I had...
