Thanks very much for posting this! What an incredible concert! I have been listening to John Renbourn and Jacqui McShee for over 40 years and this is the best live show I have heard of their music! Bella registrazione ma dovete fare attenzione a scrivere correttamente i nomi.... altrimenti la gente non riuscirà mai ad arrivare ad ascoltarla.... e si incazza pure a veder storpiare il nome di JOHN RENBOURN vedi il "suscettibile" commentatore Michael Quinn da Lecce.... e "cià" pure ragione.... Magari oltre a correggere il titolo potreste inserire la scaletta del concerto (come atto riparatorio).... scherzo eh!!??.... Comunque grazie per aver pubblicato questo importante documento
hai ragione... solo che ho perso gli originali..... cerco di rimediare. per la scaletta non posso. la registrazione non era prevista e Cesaroni mi chiamò praticamente il pomeriggio e montammo di corsa tre microfoni e un apparato ancora poco diffuso diu registrazione digitale. dopo il check i due affabili sentita la qualità della registrazione decisero di rovinare il tutto con colpi di tosse continui

I would have thought that John was more of a virtuoso, whilst Bert was more creative. Their respective ( fantastic) first albums illustrate this. But when they played together, the sum was greater than its parts. To me, their incredible 1966 duet album « Bert and John » is one of the very best acoustic guitar albums of all time.

What an amazing performance. My friend's father got me hip to the Pentangle around 2006. I always will be grateful for the music.
Everything in life becomes bearable and strangely pleasant when I listen to these musicians together l.
John's ability to make it sound like he's playing two guitars at once is quite marvelous.

pentangle was the first of this type of music that we heard in the late 60s. i never heard of fairport til way later
through most of the 70s i lived in a large hippie commune in summertown tenn. we were basically cut off from everything but the allman bros

Hard to believe that John played second fiddle for so long, but you get a glimpse of Bert and realize both were blessed by the other.
I was just thinking that. John had just as much virtuosity as Bert but got second billing most of the time.
