Thanks for the video. Is it possible to use existing Arduinos that are performing other tasks and include the mining code together? For example I have one that gets temperature from my house roof and water and send to web... can I use it to mine in between those data collections as it is already on and consuming electricity?
I just have one question about duino-coin. How is it that it mines more on weaker hardware ? Would a faster better cpu not be able to process the code more efficiently. It HAS to be limitted in the code.
Duino-Coin is a bit different as they want to encourage people to mine on Arduino boards (as seen with its name 'Duino'), not with higher-powered devices such as GPUs/CPUs. So that is why the Kolka system is in place to limit the efficiency of these more powerful devices to ensure that mining is fair and the system is not overloaded.

However, the Kolka system is an important feature that is in place when mining Duino-Coin as it manages your rewards to prevent miners from using high-powered devices (GPUs/CPUs) to dominate those mining with low-powered devices (Arduinos, ESPs, etc). This system ensures fairness between miners and also prevents people from building up massive mining farms that regular miners (those with a few Arduinos for example) can't compete with. To do that, the system uses an efficiency drop so every mining device that you own will earn less than the previous mining device. This is all information that is stated in the Duino-Coin whitepaper (which you can find on the Duino-Coin website). With that said, the Duino-Coin project does want to encourage people to build a mining rig and to get into cryptocurrency but at the same time, to also be conscious and fair to other miners on the network in terms of the reward distribution. Mining Duino-Coin isn't meant to be entirely profit-making as Duino-Coin is just an educational, fun project, and in order to manage mining, that is a part of why it is centralized. I have been using a 4-port USB hub to connect multiple microcontrollers to my laptop for mining. I have noticed that the controller chip on the USB hub gets a bit hot, so I have removed the plastic casing and added a heatsink to the chip. I think it is possible but you will need to see if the flash memory of the Arduino is enough to handle the code.

Both boards will work fine for mining but I prefer the Wemos D1 mini because it is cheaper and more reliable and supported with Duino-Coin.

It is not possible as Helium mining requires specific hardware.
