This is one of the best metal ballads I've heard recently. Yannis has such a great voice. The band's name & inspiration for songs comes from a Japanese anime series "Berserk".
Almost surprising that a series recognized as the most graphically violent and brutal Anime and manga series could inspire such amazing music. At the same time though the relationships of the characters is amazingly well written. The turn from subordinate, to friendship, to mortal enemies between Guts and Griffin. The mutual respect and love between Guts and Casca... Even Guts literal battles with his inner demons are handled remarkably well in the series.

I came across this band on the Deezer app I've got on my phone. Don't ask me why it was recommended to me but im glad it was. I ended up listening to " No Easy Way Out" off the "From Hell with Love" album and I was hooked like a mother. They play some great songs.
This song is or WAS a tribute song to a real close friend of the band who was in charge of making the bands artwork for their albums who sadly passed away from a heart disease a few years back (that's what it sounds like the song is telling me anyways in my opinion) fantastic band, fantastic song and amazing artwork
The fine thing with this is that i'm always find new groups and artists to check out. And a good way to get my biases about music and musicans challenged,witch is a good thing. Because let's face it, we all have biases, the one s that say they haven't, is lying. And now i've found a new group to check out. Thank you.
There is a different version of this song, in the form an unreleased 'demo version" called "River of Blood". It's recorded by Battle Beast and their original singer Nitte Valo, an amazing version of this material as well!

Is this not a Battle Beast cover? Ok it is, I would be enjoyed, but I'd rather you listened to Noora, she has an amazing voice and not enough reactions are given to her.
It's not because it was never released when Anton was still in Battle Beast. There is only the demo version which has different lyrics, it's called River of Blood. I kinda like the old lyrics more because they're more Berserk style.
