The book looks fantastic. I still remember my first time reading the Moria part in LOTR when I was 13... more than 30 years ago. I'd never read anything like that before (and, quite frankly, since then) and I was mesmerized. I don't play The One Ring, but may buy the book just to read it through. Thanks Jeff!
This is an incredible looking expansion to The One Ring - currently waiting for my Kickstarter copy to arrive. I love the way it is set out, the tables to create parts of Moria are powerful and easy to use, the locations all look epic - is this the ultimate dungeon crawl?? Fantastic preview Jeff!
Gareth Hanrahan is one of my favourites in the hobby, I often return to his Cthulhu City to steal ideas and adventure hooks. Can't wait for my copy of this to arrive, planning an all dwarves campaign using Shadowdark.
I've been so excited for this and I already got it via Kickstarter (lucky me!) and I have to say I love every signal page I've read so far. Maybe I'm biased, when I was younger, Merp Moria was my favorite book. My only complaint, as you mentioned, is the small font, but, with reading glasses, its not too bad. Regardless, I am not at all disappointed in this and I doubt many will be! Thanks for the video Jeff and spreading the word on this fine book, looking forward to your review!
@@relightergamer1628 Loved Merp and the two modules I loved the most were Moria and Southern Mirkwood. I still have them in the loft with a number of other campaigns. I am running the Darkening of Mirkwood at the moment and we are having a great time with the older version. This looks so good and is very tempting. One day the switch over to Free Leagues version will no doubt happen.
Thanks for this. I’m in NZ, so the boatload delivering to us has been delayed. Not likely to get this for another few weeks. At least I know what I’ll be getting.
Thank you Jeff! Great First Look as always. I'm really looking forward to watching your full review. That said, I know I'll be buying this one just because of what you shared in this video. I'm just curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks again!
Not watching the video (yet) so as not to spoil myself Waiting for my own Kickstarter to be delivered later today (UK) Collector's Ed, plus the Kickstarter material from the OG release (I.e. cloth maps of Shire and Eriador, as well as Moria) Cannot wait...
Mine should be on the way, but it takes an extra week or two to Thailand unfortunately. I've been waiting years for this one. I was hoping for a box set with a separate map etc. but looking forward to running this. I ran Adventure in Middle Earth for about 3 years (2 campaigns). Thanks for the (as always) great first look.
Still waiting on my KS copy. Their books look great and the adventures are solid, if not especially inspired or original. It's too bad the mechanics for TOR are absolute trash. But I can convert stuff to workable systems.

No; because the garbage TOR rules can't handle dungeon crawls.
@@sunsin1592 interesting actually tried it? I have and it was well received and a great Moria One shot using The One Ring.

Good choice, as TOR mechanics are trash.

Thanks for the glance through this book, I backed the KS and looking forward to getting my copy!
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you Jeff.
That map, previewed in the KS, is why I backed this product.
It looks great for sure! Backed it as well
I’m in for the 5E version. Just got my shipping notice and am looking forward to getting my hands on this.
My LOTR 5e version should be on the way as well. Stoked!

It finally arrived.... Worth every penny and every minute I've waited
Really looking forward to getting this.
