@@americanboy48 3uTools can still sign 17.6 I believe right now try download that and you will need to dfu boot the phone. Or restore with iTunes. Make sure the port is clean and don’t break the pins off, a shop should clean that for £5 for you.

Or restore with iTunes then see what it says. If done correctly and old chip used the battery should say 100% or it will show the original capacity of (for example) 80%. Then quick flash with 3uTools again
I think i dont get it? you used a cracked battery with a port to set your old battery that showed "service" to be put back to 100%? so i looked till the end but dont get the catch? sorry for being stupid? .. i guess?
@@gabbazeck1 I used the cracked battery to set the software to 100% on the phone, the battery will still show 81% in 3u tools but when you remove the crack battery the software still shows 100% even after updating with iTunez. You can then keep old BMS and put on to new battery.
So you dont get the 100% when you just spotwielding the old BMS Board to the new one? Is this a IOS 18 thing? And the path you take is a workarround to use any tools from QuianLi or others?

Bro I wish I had those batteries I did a cell replacement and it's 100% new on an iPhone 15 and can't get it to show 100% capacity

Cracked battery is basically tag on flex without programmer. Very handful for people who dont need to buy pricey programmer and tag on flex.
