I hate how some 75% keyboards are missing 1-2 of the following (printscreen, pgup, pgdn, home, end, insert)
PGUP PGDOWN HOME END should be there on the right. It cannot be simply replaced, dealbreaker.
@@IrrationalDelusion they can definitely be replaced. Either that or just rebind them
@@Lenevor I mean the knob is there and 1 key is missing. It’s usually End or PG Down. I need those, and some even use Insert, etc.
Loll
I've never EVER used any of those keys
Print screen alternative: Shift+Win+S ❤
The only based review of snap tap/SOCD on a keyboard. No it's not gonna make you an MLG pro. There are no get rich quick schemes. You gotta put in the work. Thanks for this!
Some competition for the Wooting dominance is a good thing. I love my 60he, but I welcome more options. I personally don't care about the boutique aesthetics as much as others, but there are slight refinements that Wooting need to implement, namely key wobble.
Imma let y’all know that I upgraded from a rinkydink $50
keyboard to this. The following are some notes to be had:
-I absolutely needed a palm rest with how I rested my hand and with the board being tall for me. I would accidentally hit space way too many times.
-the web based software is annoying because I switch between profiles pretty frequently. Having to keep a browser open feels a lil tedious
- All in all it feels really nice to use and will be my main use board for many years to come.
You do not need to have your browser open to switch profiles. You can set key binds to do so.
my k8 felt tall as well cause of the spacebar, my fix was spinning the bar around. no handrest needed
I'm getting the Wooting 80HE. that is my endgame keyboard. God Bless.
Welcome to the club (in advance).
With 8K Hz polling rate and amazing software / features update for every Wooting keyboards (look at the 7 years old Wooting One). I think Endgame Keyboard is the correct term to use (at least for the next ten years :D).
Match it with the new "awekeys moon landing😊" keycaps that are coming end of the month
@lltalionll 8k polling is does nothing on a keyboard, this topic has been evaluated already, it's just another box to check for the marketing people.
8k polling is pretty much overkill for casual. The data that is sent to the PC is eight times more faster than 1k polling which mean lower latency and faster sensor information. You probably don't need it to be good; the 60he is still a solid option but most HE keyboard are embracing the high polling rate. There is a video from Optimum tech about polling rate.
Same! Got the one in zinc and yes, my end game kb as well. Gonna mod the shit out of it 😁😅
As a non HE owner of the same keychron q1 (v2) board (same except for internals obviously) this will probably be my next end game upgrade as I love mine. I just wish mine was hall effect too :).
great keyboard! Can you do one of Ajazz Hall Effect keyboard? Its the AK820 Max with Magnetic Switches
Care to give tips about how to spot enemies faster? Sometimes I got this in the bag but I can't quite put my finger what to focus on
Bro has some nutty aim ngl
This keyboard would have been perfect if only it had one more key on the right... TKL is still my way to go.
Struth, you need to check out Log Pile Gaming's video on the pen-grip mouse.
That's the wooting 80he with a plastic case. The aluminum version is WAY more than the Keychron.
I wish the knob was optional and could be replaced by either an extra key or a badge.
Nice i'm early, so i have some questions before there is too many comment :
Will you try the new beta update for Wooting keyboards (SOCD) ? I'm curious about your opinion (It is cheating or not ? On which game it makes the most significant difference ?).
For sure, i'll give it a shot to see just how impactful it really is.
Hard to give a firm opinion without testing it first, but my initial instinct is that I don't like how strong it can be and that it could actually create a meaningful divide between players than have a capable keyboard and those who do not.
I think optimum's examples of CS (counter-strafing) and Overwatch (instant acceleration)are solid examples and be extrapolated out to other games with similar mechanics.
@@StruthGaming Thank's for the fast reply. Can't wait to see your opinion after the test.
Already saw optimum tech about the Razer SOCD and it looked quite insane but i hope he will do an updated video about the Wooting for every SOCD settings in different games (also i hope you will also do it ;) )
@@StruthGamingit's op for fighting games too
Would you please show me how to choose between Oasis75 and Keychron Q1he?
Keychron Q3 HE will be out soon 🥳
Where do you see this
@@Spectrulight Keychron Aust, I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they said in a couple of months
really waiting for ur coaching sessions suggest start coaching ull make a good fps coach
Excellent video, mate! I've had a Q1 HE for about a month. It's become my endgame keyboard for work, games, and everything else on my computers. Adding 2.4GHz was long overdue and works so much better than BT. Another great thing about this board is its build quality. It's easily the heaviest, most solid keyboard I've ever owned. It'd be a helluva bludgeoning weapon if you run out of ammo during the zombie apocalypse.
F ing red keys. Can I just have a HE keyboard with non-ugly key caps???
I know this is kinda off topic. But considering your channel is a lot about tracking and aim improving. What’s your thoughts about glass mouse pads?
Can you click the knob down?
yes
Yes you can, by default it mutes and unmutes.
Im using a Redragon K617 FIZZ 60% Rapid Trigger Wired Magnetic budget version tbh im satisfied, there are clearly better but if you are low on money i recommend this
On Wootings you can emulate gamepad analog controls on some keys, and keep the keyboard functionality if the game supports it. Does the Keychron / software support this too?
The whole video is a comparison between the 75% keychron and the Wooting 60% keyboard. Then you're doing a price comparison between the keychron and the yet to be released Wooting 80HE... 😅
Except, snap tap in CS. Lol😂
300 dollars for a keyboard is crazy
Why? If it is high quality and things can be replaced when broken, that's a good deal.
Or would you rather buy a new KB every other year?
@@TheKeule33i live in the UK and i just bought a keychron q1 he and upon reading the reviews on trustpilot afterwards i may be regretting it. will everything be okay?
How do you reckon the K2 HE will compare to this? I love the look of the white special edition... But i kinda want what would be my "endgame" KB, so trying to keep my options open.
Been trying to compare the two myself. The K series is the default series, while the Q is the higher quality line of keyboards. More expensive, but made with higher quality materials such as a metal case rather than plastic on the k-series. The flipside of that is that the Q1 HE is ~$350 AUD vs ~$200 AUD for the K2 HE
@jackdixon6681 yeah, I've done some more looking into it and have had a reply from Keychron on my comment asking if there's much of a difference between the Q1 HE and K2 HE:
"Hello Luke, here are the main differences.
1. Design: (K2 HE has a compact 75% layout, Q1 HE has a 75% layout with a knob)
2. Material: (K2 HE is made of plastic, aluminum, and wood; Q1 HE is made of full aluminum)
3. Mount Structure: (K2 HE is tray mount, Q1 HE is gasket mount)
4. Acoustic Foam: (K2 HE: EVA foam, EPDM foam, bottom case PET film, silicone pad; Q1 HE: sound-absorbing foam, latex bottom pad, bottom case acoustic foam, bottom case PET film)
Thank you!"
@@auwoody98au thanks for sharing the info!
@@jackdixon6681 no problem!
where is home key ?
does it have snap tap?
Not yet, but I would expect it sometime soon imo.
When they release the source code for the qmk firmware, either keychron will add it or someone will do it themselve
as someone who has been daily driving a Q1 HE for about 3-4 months, it is good but nowhere near as fast and reliable as my 60HE. Its slower and more inconsistent with inputs, but its still a good all round kb.
Keychron Q1 is better build quality thought, both the wooting 69 and 80 he just look like a tacky amazon gaming keyboard
@@ArachnidEdits_wooting 69
@@Spectrulight teheheh
so i'll offer my services to absorb one of those keyboards should you become inundated. just sayin.
which do you think is better to buy as a long term investment? i know wooting still update their 7+ year old keyboard and i would likely use the next keyboard i buy for atleast 4 years, however this keychron seems to have many of the features in terms of quality, which i am looking for
Keychron also have solid update support for QMK VIA and HE switches. Keychron offers more elegant build. Wooting has a bit of an edge in gaming features, but relying on keyboard advantages is so toxic. Wooting is slow to scale the manufacturing while Keychron is more available. Wooting doesn't offer wireless that Keychron usually does afaik.
@@IrrationalDelusion thanks. this is useful
bro can you do a channel where you play games only pls
hi
Definitely an AI voice, I wouldn’t trust this
?? look at his oldest video he has the same voice lmao
@@aar5266 I’m not surprised this whole channel uses the same robovoice. It seems to be an uppitched voice simulator modeled after the real voice of @optimumtech, who does the same kind of reviews, but actually knows what he’s talking about. This behavior isn’t uncommon from companies trying to pretend they have influencer clout when it’s just marketing propaganda.
