Manipal Astronomy and Aeronautical department is one of the best in India it recently got collaborated with ISRO. Manipal avg package is 16lpa and median is 8.5 that too with more students around 7000-8000. With almost 86% placements. And others went abroad for future study. What you think why IITs have 26lpa avg bcz of lower strength. If you compare top 300-400 offers of Manipal that’s average recruitment of every IITs then avg is 28lpa+ Manipal is ranked 650 in QS ranking because of its Teachers student ratio, Alumni network (Satya Nadella, Rajiv Suri and many others) Ranking isn’t based on only Placements. Disadvantages Fees Don’t come for lower branches like Civil and others. Even IITs and NITs don’t have placements for these branch either go for other colleges or MU Jaipur with that rank.
Go for pilani, or try for the MSc branches in bits so you can get cse (if you are in top 25%ile of the class) in second year. If you can afford it especially.
